I got takeout delivered from GrubHub. First of all the drivers from GrubHub cannot follow directions at all. The beef was all fat and bone, I could not eat any of it. There's nothing to eat. This is a good Chinese restaurant in an area of mostly mediocre ones. They have really good DimSum including great turnip cakes and excellent shu mai. Sticky rice is very well done and steamed pork buns are great. Dishes are generally well done with fresh ingredients and made to order. Can run a little bland. This is a surprising find in a little shopping center near UTC. The prices are very reasonable, the selection is good and the food is good. In addition to the dim sum they have Chinese entrees and they were good too. The only disappointment was the Honey walnut shrimp. The sauce was definitely not to my liking. Too much mayo and that isn't something I expected in a Chinese dish. The Portuguese creme brûlée tart was rich and a perfect dessert. We had pan fried turnip cake (ok) stuffed spicy jalapeño with shrimp (GOOD), crispy fried tofu skin with shrimp (good!), chicken chow fun (delicious), steamed rice rolls with shrimp, and one other dim sum I don't remember. We also had 1 pot of jasmine tea that was never ending, brewed tea leaves, and less than $2.00. It was noisy and very busy so dishes came out one at a time but that was fine. Service was very good. They had a slide show of the dishes so you could see what they looked like and they also had a server walking around with steamed covered bamboo bowls to show the patron exactly what they would get. Overall it was a good experience. All that food totaled $51 before tax and tip. Truly a bargain. I recommend trying this place because it is different, inexpensive, and fun with good food. read more

Best Dim Sum in the Sarasota Bradenton area. Authentic like NY China Town dim sum. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. The restaurant is clean & covid safety measures are in place. The food is prepared fresh and there are a variety of choices from traditional Chinese fare as well as dim sum. Best of all dim sum is served all day everyday!! I was super excited another Dim Sum place finally opened in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. The restaurant took over the location of where the Chinese restaurant Moon Wok used to be. It was easy to find and plenty of parking. When walking in the atomsphere was very nice and peaceful the new owners added a nice fresh coat of paint and some pictures of the food they serve. For the most part the staff was friendly. The food was good and just what you expect from a typical dim sum restaurant. I recommend their Hong Kong Style Egg Tarts, pork ribs, BBQ pork buns, turnip cakes and shrimp dumplings. I would have given this place more stars but the customer service was a bit disappointing. Like I mentioned before the staff was friendly however when it came to ordering food, half of the dishes we ordered were late because they forgot to check or didn't put it in. The other half of the dishes we had ordered but then were told that they ran out (turns out they gave the food to other customers who ordered after us ). I went with my family (5+ people) however we went around 5:30 ish so the place wasn't packed yet. Today when I went it was their soft opening so mistakes are expected however giving our order to other people who order after us is just not acceptable. I would be more understanding if they really just ran out of food because that does happen with new restaurants. Hope as times progresses things will improve. I would love to give this place a second chance. read more

This place is awesome! Such a treat to find a place that serves dim sum all the time. I must have eaten here once a week since it opened. Not only is the dim sum delicious, but the whole Chinese menu is outstanding as well. The duck is especially good. The staff is very pleasant and willing to help if dim sum is new to you. Ok . So I waited to take my family here for my birthday. A table of 7 we waited a bit which was fine . They seated the smaller party first and we understood. We waited about 15 to 20 mins . Which is not bad . The guy who sat us was very nice . On to the food , the dim sum was ok limited at dinner time , all the good ones they only serve at lunch. Roasted pork was hard as a rock , like they microwave it to reheat. General T'so chicken Tasted more like orange chicken. Ok ,now about the service , we just sat down and immediately she wanted our drink order, so we gave her our drink order. I told her we were also waiting on my parents who were parking their car and walking in . No lie in 2 minutes they came 3 times to the table . As my parents walked in she came around and ask are you ready . I told her No! I want my parents to pick their dim sum order too . Then less then a minute her co worker ask my parents who haven't even got a chance to sit down at their chairs yet . Are you ready ? Seriously?!?! They didn't even sit down yet . And less then 1 minute later she came back and ask again Are you ready ? And on the last time which ticked my husband off he finally told her , can you let my parents sit down first I will get you when I'm ready . I get it that you want to turn tables to make more money , but let us sit down. And get settle first , we waited 20 minutes let us have a few minutes, so now we have a pissed off the waitress , the whole service was with a rude face and rude reply when we ask for refills on drinks and silverware. Yeah wait ! I be back . WTH , We did tip her $22 on a $110 . But we will never be back . I work in a Salon across the street and will not recommend this restaurant . No Thanks . Most commonly confuse this place with the previous chinese place that was here but this is far superior. They have an extensive menu and better food than any other chinese place in town. their general tsos, crispy egg roll, shrimp dumplings and deep fried tarot are all go-to's. I always wanted to try Dim Sum after seeing it on tv. This place is authentic. The menu looks intimidating, but it's very easy to navigate. The one is traditional Asian and the other is the steamed buns/rolls. We shared the beef and broccoli, shumai, bbq pork buns, and shrimp dumplings. My husband is a big eater but we still took a lot home. Definitely on my keeper list. read more

When I walked in and saw the happy owners and welcoming wait-staff, my optimistic suspicions were only confirmed seeing several Asian families dining for lunch in a wonderfully mixed crowd of business and leisure, younger and elder! Happy beyond belief to stumble across this fairly new restaurant that offers a broad selection of dim sum in the University TC area of Bradenton. Being from Hawaii, and having traveled extensively, I've had a lot dim sum and can say they have some of the best, and prices are reasonable too. read more
