We have been here numerous times, Dim Sum here is good. The menu selection is smaller compared to if you go out to Dim Sum in New York. At least around the Hackensack area, this is the closest to the tastes we know. Depending on what you get, a majority of the food is made from scratch. We have dined in because bringing home the food, you lose its freshness. The tastes are true to the dishes we know, and everything serves hot and fresh. My go-to dishes are the Fishball noodle soup, steamed shrimp rolls, and the turnip cake with the sauce given to the side. Some dishes you may order, you wouldn't think would fill you up, looks are deceiving. We like drinking Chrysanthemums tea drinks too. Prices can be a little expensive, and the service is always friendly. All forms of payment are accepted, and the parking lot is available. read more

The dim sum is yum...As good as the dim sum places I have eaten in NYC Chinatown and CA Chinatown. What makes it legit is Indo not have to drive all the way to NYC Chinatown to have good dim sum! Service was nice and they recognized my dad and brother which is always a plus. Prices are fair and portions about right. Ambiance is typical fast food but is larger than most Chinatown shops. Visited Dim Sum Station to grab a quick dinner with my parents. It's a quick service place. We placed our order at the counter, and waited to pick it up. The food is served on trays to make it easier to bring to the table. We got a little bit of everything. We got the brisket noodle soup, wonton noodle soup, beef rice noodle, triple delight, pork and shrimp shumai, steamed pork buns, and chicken feet. Everything was pretty good! I came here on a Friday afternoon around 5: 00pm and it was pretty empty so I promptly grabbed a menu card and pretty much checked everything that looked appealing to me as I was meeting my cousin here to have lunch. We are two hungry men so I made sure to order plenty of food. Probably around 10 to 12 plates. All the plates came out in about 10 to 15 minutes. Every dish is about 1 to 2 servings so I would suggest getting multiple plates. I got all sorts of different dumplings, meatballs, some veggies, pasta, roll up dishes, rib tips and brisket. Everything tasted great. We finished all the plates and we're both super full. The bill was about $60 and I thought that was fair for delicious dim sum food for two people. I decided to order carry out directly from their website to avoid the extra fee that is tacked on each of the dishes. Everything was ready and waiting when I arrived 5 min early from the email that was sent to me confirming the ready time. They carry all the popular dim sum options and this is what I ordered - har gow (shrimp dumplings), shrimp siu mai, pork soup dumplings, spare ribs in black bean sauce, snow pea leaf shrimp dumplings, beef meatballs, pork dumplings, shrimp rice noodle rolls, beef rice noodle rolls, seasonal vegetables, wonton noodle soup, pork buns. So basically I ordered as if I was at a traditional dim sum restaurants pointing at the carts. I would probably recommend it all, especially the shrimp items where the shrimp was in large chunks! I was slightly concerned that the food would not carry out well, but it did okay considering. Yes of course it would taste better fresh and hot, but the carry out containers all worked and I appreciated that they didn't use styrofoam. And to be honest during this covid time, I'm just happy to be able to eat dim sum at the comfort of my home. My only gripe would be a request to throw in chop sticks. Found this new place that opened up in Hackensack near FDU. No need to go to NYC for great dim sum anymore we finally found a place! Located on River st., this place has a very small private parking lot. It really is more ideal for take-out. It is not your traditional sit-down dim sum experience. But I'm definitely getting my take out from here next time! You order at the counter and you sit down at the booth to eat. No need for tips, I feel like the prices of each plate is already higher than most other places. So it's about the same price to be honest after tips at other places. These people are true Cantonese people making dim sum! Truly authentic. The quality of the dim sum was AMAZING. The most amazing thing was the pork shumai! I haven't had a pork shumai like that since I've been back to hong kong or china! The shrimp dumpling and shrimp rice noodle roll were outstanding. The chicken feet and pork spareribs were all solid. The egg tarts were soooo good, like they were actually a bakery. We also ordered the Cantonese beef ball, snow pea leaf dumpling, and the fried crueller rice roll. We cannot wait to come back and try their other items on the menu. The only thing I would say that this place was missing, was the tea. You really need classic Chinese tea with dim sum. The dim sum here isn't inferior to most NYC joints, if you take off the foodie goggles and really dig into the food itself. Also note, this place use to be a full service joint Palisades Park before it moved to this more take-out oriented location (although they do have booths for sit ins, but you still eat out of plastic containers). The food itself is perfectly good/fine. It doesn't pale to another popular north Jersey dim sum place nearby called Aquarius which gets plenty of foot traffic. Most of what they make from the radish cakes to meat balls to shrimp dumplings to spring rolls etc .. they aren't much different than what you get in most sit in restaurants. The food isn't any less flavorful or greasier than those places in Manhattan or Brooklyn. Anyway, I find this place to be perfectly fine to get your dim sum cravings satisfied. They might not have a huge ton of variety but they serve all of the main event type of dim sum dishes that also are packed perfectly if you just want to grab and go to take home, which most people clearly do here. I found the folks here to be friendly and rather accommodating as well. Strongly recommended for anyone who doesn't mind not sitting in a restaurant and seeing carts whiz by. read more

Decent wonton noodles, char siu pastry is always buttery and flaky, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves always hit the spot. Will continue to order from here. It has a cafeteria feel, including those orange trays and a sign to please clean up after yourself. While they do mostly take-out, you can sit at booths and eat inside. Staff is friendly. I was happy to see that there was a Dim Sum restaurant opening up here in Hackensack but I was a bit worried about how it would end up being especially since it was mostly viewed as a take-out place. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this place has some pretty great food at a reasonable price. We ordered over the phone and found our food to be ready right around the estimated time we were given. Of note, the parking is a bit tight and small. Be prepared for some 3 point turns in a tight space but it's doable. Overall the food was great even for take-out. We ordered a few different things all of which were tasty and still fresh when we got home. The price is not bad but a bit pricey for what we were getting. I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and we ordered almost half the menu of dim sum to try. Almost all items we ordered were good and tasted very authentic. A lot of the items are premade or ready to go which speeds up service but you do miss the fresh, steamy buns or dumplings that you expect from DimSum. And each order only has 3 pieces rather than 4 that are rather small. But despite all of this, there aren't too many options for DimSum this side of the river so they get 4 stars. Been here several times for take out AND today I'm disappointed. Ordered 2 Pork & Shrimp Siu Mai, Beef Rice Noodle Rolls, and Cantonese Beef Meatballs. Also 2 Brisket Noodle Soup and Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup. They changed the way they pack the soup noodles now, you get a lot less soup and noodles. The noodles sit in a shallow tray inside of the top of the bowl with just barely enough soup broth to cover the noodles and meat In the bottom of the bowl. This is half of what they used to serve. And so much fat in the beef to make the dish look like it's filled with beef. This is taking downsizing to the extreme. They also skimped on the sauce for my dim sum meatball dish. Only a few drops of sauce in the micro size container. How cheap can you be. I will be going back to my dim sum restaurant in Fort Lee. read more
