Genuinely the worst customer service of any firm I have ever dealt with. I hired Dimov Tax for my quarterly tax estimates and for my annual filing. George's team is quick and pressing to request payment, and once you pay them they go radio silent. My annual and quarterly filing have been delayed, and I can't get an answer from anyone other than a remote support team who tell me they will get back to me. Dimov tax provided a CPA letter required by my loan officer to get my bank statement loan approved. I you are self-employed and make good money, but your tax returns show you don't, a bank statement loan will allow you to purchase real estate. My local CPA refused to write this letter for reason I never understood. Dimov understood the level of urgency (we are at the end of week 2 of being in escrow) and provided the needed letter within me furnishing the documents to them within 2 business days. read more

4/29/25: I am updating my review from a couple of weeks ago. Dimov Tax contacted me and tried to repair the relationship, offering a listening ear and efforts to improve their service. One of their advisors and I had a call and discussed what went wrong. He apologized. He also provided additional service and guidance that were useful. It doesn't cancel out my prior experience, but it certainly helps, and I appreciate the effort the company made. 4/18/25: I had a negative experience with Dimov Tax. They seemed professional and responsive in the sales phase, then dropped off in quality and responsiveness precipitously from there. They pushed me for a payment upfront, then proceeded to stop responding when I submitted my materials and asked for confirmation of receipt for those materials. The final processing occurred when we were down to the wire, despite emails and calls requesting communication for weeks up until then. At times, I felt "Nickle-and-dimed" for services that have always been provided as part of my tax processing packages with other firms (I moved across states last year, so had to find a new tax firm, which led me to Dimov). Their fees were not cheap. I made two simple requests for items that had been provided as part of my tax package with other professionals, without additional charge (one accounting question so that I could provide an accurate P/L and one request for estimated quarterly amounts). For each one, they told me it would be a "separate engagement" and quoted me high, additional charges. read more

This is my first time not filing on my own, and the team did a great job! They advertise as a Denver tax firm, but they are 100% online tax filers. If you look at their reviews. The reviews were all around the country, not in Denver, Colorado. Their office address in Denver is a mailing/shared working space. That's why there's no walk-in. You have to pay upfront before they would look at your tax. They asked me to provide my social security number over email. A tax firm shouldn't be asking people to do this! I had to lock up my credits as a result of this incident to avoid identity thief. I do not recommend this business if you are looking for a local tax firm in Denver. read more

I decided to try out this group for the first time this year, after my sister and I became disappointed in the quality of work our previous CPA provided. I had them review my completed 2022 return, and they did indeed find some issues with the original return. Working with them was great, I had them both amend my 2022 and do my 2023 return. I went from owing thousands last year to getting thousands back this year! I do advise finding out who's handling your return and contacting them directly for fastest communication, working with their support in the middle can delay things, but all in all they know their stuff, they are thorough, and well worth the price! I waited a year to write this review, because I wanted to fully evaluate the results of the documents they provided at the beginning of the tax year. After filing my taxes the results are in, and they nailed it. The experience of getting the documents itself was a little rough, it felt like my needs were too small-scale and fell through the cracks a little. But the quality of the work speaks for itself, and the positive experience of everything coming in exactly as expected more than makes up for it. I will certainly request more services from them when I need it. The review dialog is telling me to talk about value, and I really can't. My good experience was unfortunately limited to the first year where I needed extremely simple taxes with only a W-2 done as an introduction. I am a tech startup employee with ISOs and was looking for someone that could assist with my taxes once they became more complicated next year. Unfortunately they were not up to the task the following year. The team was unfamiliar with AMT and ISOs, and estimated taxes relating to both. I was given incorrect information that could have cost me a lot of money in their mistakes. I only found this out because I got conflicting information from two different employees. I wanted to understand which was right so I went to read the tax code myself. I now feel like I know more than them about AMT and ISOs at this point. George Dimov was friendly and apologetic for the mistakes throughout, and tried to take steps to correct the mistakes, but after a certain point enough was enough. My $0.02: if your taxes are simple, turbo tax is cheaper, if your taxes are complex, turbo tax is probably cheaper and more correct. Your time and money are better spent elsewhere. read more

The team at Dimov Tax Services are excellent. I've been using them for 2 years for partnership returns and K1 preparation. They are fast, accurate, and have excellent communication. When I started as a new customer, I worked with an associate to get the basic questions answered and to get them my financial statement. Once that was finished they transferred the work to a senior tax associate. The senior I have been working with has stayed the same over the two years and Tuan Huang is so good I am giving him a shout out here! The partnership return was even more seamless the second year because I was able to immediately start working with Tuan, since the basics had been covered the previous year. He had my return done a couple weeks faster than they previously estimated when I paid the invoice upfront, and well ahead of the deadline. Long story short, this is a great tax firm!
