Awesome Veal Parm! Stopped in for dinner with friends while traveling across the country. This is an Italian restaurant with a Firehouse vibe. When you walk in you can smell the Italian cooking and it was a glorious smell. We were seated right away and our server promptly brought menus and drinks. After ordering our salads came out shortly. Our meals were served piping hot and they were awesome! My friend and I had the veal Parm and this was no frozen breaded patty veal, this was fresh veal that was lightly hand breaded and served in a fresh made meat sauce along with a piece of garlic bread. My friend's wife had the spaghetti with meat sauce and it was awesome also. We all enjoyed our meals and would recommend for a try!

I've have had DiNapoli's Fire House bookmarked on Yelp, as one place to try, for at least 10 years. Driving back to Pasadena on President's Day from my home in Bullhead City I decided to dive in and give this unique pizza place a try. I arrived about 12:30 pm. Walking inside I was blown away with all the firefighting equipment, memorabilia and photos. Walking inside I was pleasantly greeted with a warm welcome. I told the young lady that I wanted to order a pizza to go. Looking over the menu I decided on a medium meatball and sausage pizza. I was told that it would be about 20 minutes. While I waited I walked around the restaurant to look at all the firefighter memorabilia. They have a nice bar upstairs. True to their word my pizza was ready almost at the 20 minute mark. After paying for my pizza I went out to my vehicle and placed it inside. Even though I was still full from eating breakfast I just had to try a slice when it was just made. Opening up the box it looked beautiful and the meatballs were big, flavorful and really juicy. The crust was perfectly cooked. The bottom was crisp and ridged. Absolutely delicious. The true star were the meatballs but the sauce had great flavor and that crispy crust and cheese just made this an awesome pizza worthy of a return visit. When I finally got home I reheated 2 slices in my oven. It was great even reheated in the oven. If you have never tried DiNapoli's Fire House, the place will defiantly hose your hunger with great tasting pizza.

Delicious! Such a hidden gem to have in Barstow. The restaurant was beautiful and nicely decorated, I wish i had taken some photos. The service was wonderful, you get soup and garlic bread on too of your entree and the drinks were refillable too.

Have been going to "DiNaps" for over a year now. They have hardly messed up a single order and you feel like family every time you walk in. This is the place to go in Barstow for comfort food, 110%. The lighting and seating are excellent and the booths are actually comfortable! Staff is willing to go above and beyond. We have seen tourists from overseas to locals who have been here for many years dine in on a Tuesday. Suitable for everyone. :)

The Service was awesomee! The prices are super fair and the amount of food you get ?? If you want to get the most for your money definitely come here. This Italian food is so delicious. The Alfredo could have more flavor but the garlic bread made up for it. The Calzone has so much in it. They are definitely generous with their toppings 10/10 recommend

Quick pit stop here on our drive to Vegas from LA. Super cute Italian restaurant with a firehouse theme throughout. Our server, Lauren, was phenomenal as well as our pizza. I would definitely return and recommend !

I was in that barstool area that searched for someplace to eat, and this place came up. Took a chance on and boy, i'm glad I did. The ambiance of the place is amazing, so walking through an old fashioned firehouse with all the stuff on the walls. The music is great. The service was fantastic. Add Shrimp Scampi, with soup and garlic bread was absolutely unbelievable. Don't be fooled by the prices, portions are large. It was big enough that me and my wife shared the meal and we were stuffed.

DiNapoli's Firehouse has been a Barstow staple for decades. Fun fact the owner Nick DiNapoli is also the Chief of the Barstow Fire Protection District! Walking into DiNapoli's is a visual onslaught of Fire Fighter memorabilia and memories. There is a second floor that can be used for larger parties. There are large screen TV's strategically placed throughout the dining areas, in case you want to keep track of the big games while you fill your senses, sight, sound and taste! Everything item on the menu is a delectable delight! Fried Calimari, Mozzarella sticks, Meatball sliders and Brushetta begin the appetizer menu. You can then make your way through their house salads. There is a gluten free menu as well. You can order sides and a la cart menu items. Entree's include, an assortment of pasta styles. Calzones and Stromboli are a home town favorite! Build your own pizza from small 10" to XL 18" and everything in-between. Desserts include, Cheesecake, Cannoli, Spumoni, Gelato, Sorbet and their own Simply Perfect Chocolate Cake. They offer an assortment of Domestic and Imported beers. DiNapoli's is not just a meal, it's an adventure!

This place is good for an anytime bite. Note, this review is strictly about the pizza and the salad. The salads are huge as you can't see and they load them up. If you like salads, you can't go wrong. The pizza is one of the best in this area. The crust was crispy and the pepperoni had a little spice. The service was friendly and they also played low family friendly Christmas music while we ate which for the mood. There was a small mistake on an order and they promptly fixed it with no complaints. I'd return here, especially with a group. Definite one of the best I. The area.

After driving 12 hours this was a perfect stop. We were seated right away, service was wonderful. (Thank you Chloe!) Pizza was crisp and tasted wonderful. Calzone was awesome and our girls loved the pasta. Good prices as well! read more

Dinner here on Oct 7 after a long drive from CO. Only lost one star as we waited for quite a while before offered water or taking our drink order. The house chianti was a generous pour, decent and my wife ordered a cherry Italian soda with light whip. She thoroughly enjoyed it. The house salad was good and freshas was the homemade balsamic (on the side). My wife got the Caesar which was fine, too. Main course for me was the manicotti which I thoroughly enjoyed. The sauce tasted homemade and the cheese filling on point. The spaghetti was prepared perfectly. The cheese ravioli was also good and was filled with some of the the creamiest cheeses I'd ever tasted although my wife liked my manicotti better (we share). The garlic bread, good not great. Our waitress redeemed herself many times over for the earlier wait to be served and was attentive and cheerful. Just good, solid Italian food. Loved the firehouse decor as well. read more

What a delicious experience If you pass by Barstow or stay there then this is a spot worth stopping by. It clearly a hidden gem. Stop by every single time I'm out of town for work and been trying to try out every thing on the menu and haven't been disappointed. Very good meals decent prices and I would definitely recommend to add this place on your to go to on your way to Vegas or if your just stopping by Barstow but the portions fill you up and make you want to come for seconds. read more

I rarely give out five stars Because we cook a lot at home so when we go out to eat we expect a lot. The three of us bought the ravioli And spaghetti special, the chicken Parmesan sub and a vegetarian pizza. Everything we ate was delicious. The service was excellent... Doesn't deserve any stars but heres 5 so the people can see what a "popular dish" looks like my aunt had dined here and brought me a togo order and this "food" was soaked in oil seeping through the foil container, the paper bag, and the plastic bag. I wouldnt even feed this to my dogs its so disgusting. Wasnt even the food I ordered dont waste your time or money here you guys should be embarrassed and shut down !!! read more

We stopped overnight in Barstow and were lucky to find this great restaurant. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and generous servings. We tried the special- half and half raviolis and spaghetti, the pizza and minestrone soup. Our server, (Carlee?) was friendly and professional. Although we came in close to closing, we were made to feel very welcome and never rushed. I'm not sure if we will return to Barstow, but if we do, we will definitely return to DiNapolis. read more

At present and for the foreseeable future, DiNapoli's is probably the nicest place for family and "special" dining in Barstow. It has been here for a long time, and the team has a real family feel to them and adds it to the place. Better physical layout would help, but despite the surfeit of emplty buildings in Barstow, I can understand not wanting to move. One of the few Italian restaurants today that actually offer veal parm and I will order it with the eggplant Parmigiigia the veal is a relatively small cut. My wife always enjoyed the chicken parm and the spaghetti & meatballs. It's not a complaint so much as a suggestion. But I think the menu needs to be revised and updated. The portions of chicken or seafood seem very small for the price. Another thing that I would recommend is adding some beef dishes. From my days serving in Germany and eating often at the PX restaurants, Italian nights with steak were big sellers. An alternative to the Veal Parmigiana could be pounded pork chops in Parmigiana. That's a German reaction to cost and pressure against veal, and frankly, it works a lot better than chicken. Pizza is best in town, of course. Always an advantage over franchise pizza. Deserts are very good, from cannoli through chocolate cake. Service is always the best. read more

The food was delicious! Very generous portions and not overly garlicky. The decor was also fun, loads of things to look at although it's a bit dusty. We liked the romantic music in the background as well. This would be an almost perfect place however our server was very, very scarce and the other servers had tunnel vision and couldn't be flagged down. read more

Amazing Fresh Tasty Huge Portions Awesome Service (Sam was friendly & made sure my tea was always full). I took my Bride & Grandson for an early Birthday Dinner (Bride's). One of the best dining experiences we ever had. We ordered two orders of sautéed mushrooms (best & largest) I ever had. My Bride had the spinach ravioli -- lots of tasty goodness. We also had sautéed shrimp -- amazing garlic & buttery. I had the naked chicken wings & a meat pizza -- cut in squares & a garlic butter sauce -- I loved the pizza & wings -- one happy Fat Boy . I want to like this place more. The waitstaff is gracious and attentive, the food is pretty good (I really enjoy the eggplant parmesan), even the decor is well done, but the bar drinks are so weak they make the whole meal a disappointment. It genuinely makes me sad. read more

Today on the way back to LA, we were hesitate to see our "old friend" DiNapoli still open, when we pull up to the parking lot, we saw the sign OPEN, my tears almost came down, it means we all survived! The food just like always, the meatball as big as golf ball, the angel hair was el dente, nice salad came with lunch... everything just like old time and as great! I would recommend all travelers to stop by this rare treasure! read more

I went here on a Tuesday for lunch. Not very crowded. The service was good. Not very impressed beyond that. The dinner salad with thousand island dressing was decent. Nothing bad about it. It was nice that the large amount of dressing came on the side. I ordered the shrimp scampi. The shrimp itself was good, but the rest of the dish was totally bland. I usually get a white wine / lemon / parmesan taste from scampi, but all that I tasted in this sauce was olive oil. I think this was the first time in my life that I added salt to an Italian dish. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but based on this experience, I wouldn't go back. read more

Good Italian food Chicken Parm sandwich makes the perfect lunch. The Firehouse Salad for parties is exactly right. This is a Locals place, but everyone is welcome. Well it was a good restaurant but it is going downhill. Used to be you could trade out the potato salad for a green salad but now they won't do it. Other little things but still not bad totally. Sorry to see them getting so very strict. I remember one night when they first opened and they ran out of pastrami. Nick literally drove across town and got the pastrami to serve the customer. The Meatball sliders and Lasagna were so delicious! They are both a MUST HAVE! I ordered the Tour of Italy; and the lasagna was the best. The fettuccine was not very good, it had very little flavor. We also ordered The Godfather pizza, which was okay. The best part about this restaurant that makes me want to recommend it and return, is the service and environment. The decor was really cool, all Firefighter items. The staff was all very friendly and took good care of us from the moment we walked in. I'll be back next time I'm in town to try other dishes. read more

This place has the potential to be great. The Waitstaff was disappointing.. my waitress was short (as in a little rude) and forgetful. I tied to get the attention of another and was completely ignored. I'm fairly loud and I know she heard me. Food: I had meat ravioli with a salad and ice tea. the salad was great and the Italian dressing was very good. I have never had any quite like it before, I actually thought it was Russian when she brought my salad, very dark red and thick. I quick taste and it was pleasant but different. I poured it on the salad and when blended with the mozzarella cheese, croutons and mixed greens it was very good. Almost licked my plate. He raviolis were food service raviolis and we're ok. The sauce (gravy) was pretty good overall. I'll get spaghetti next time and I think it would be a great dish. It's a little pricey in my opinion $21 for lunch. One person. read more

Was driving through and noticed this little spot- really neat facade. Everything was A-maxing! Much of their menu is all made in house: meatballs, bread, etc. I asked the server what was good- she relied, "Seriously, everything." And she was not wrong. I ordered the bruschetta appetizer for my meal- it was enormous. All the flavors went perfectly together, all garlicky- deliciousness. Also ordered a side of the shrimp- so yummy. At our table- meatball sliders appetizer, minestrone soup, NY Italian Sub with pasta salad, and a side order of chicken parm. No one left the table unsatisfied. Our server was super friendly, as was the cashier. Highly recommend if you find yourself in the Barstow area. read more

The website says they are open until 9 PM, but on arrival there is a paper picnic plate taped to the front door that says "Closed at 8 PM." Please update your website to reflect the actual hours. Typical Barstow. read more

We had a meeting here last Thursday afternoon. My manager was in Vegas and I'm in OC so he wanted to meet half way. I wasn't keen on meeting in Barstow but it made sense due to the distance between us. We both had Pizza and it was amazing. He had a gluten free crust and he loved it. They followed COVID protocols very well. Extremely clean, awesome friendly staff and a great value. We sat indoors with nobody even remotely close to us. I think this is the first time since last March that I was able to sit down in doors and be served. I forgot how much I miss restaurants being open for dining. Check this place out you won't be disappointed. I will be stopping here every time I pass through Barstow. One of the beat Pizzas I've ever had and I eat pizza at least twice a month. Seriously don't miss out on this place. read more

Phenomenal as usual. Has become a must stop on the way to or from Las Vegas. This time I had the. 'a la carte' baked ziti. Was very good. The pepperoni added a new twist. My wife ordered the lasagna and it was a home run. Lots of sausage, great sauce. This place never disappoints! read more

We ordered take out during Covid travels back to N Cali. It was a great choice. I'm not a fast food girl and knew there had to be something open to feed my hunger. Ordered the Antipasta Salad, Mushroom App and buffalo wings. I could out recently I'm GF unfortunately so I avoided any pasta but when I went to pick it up she informed me they had pizza and pasta choices that were indeed GF FYI. Plenty of food for 2. Wings were big a little to much bbq sauce but delish. As for the salad it was great and we substituted for ranch dressing very filling. The mushrooms...now these were a treat definitely gotta get these suckers. Also got a really good bottle of Chianti to go. I'm from wine country and tend to unfortunately be a bit picky and I hate to admit it but it is true. This wine was perfect for the meal and I'm sure would go great with a ravioli dish or just to have a great glass. Any they do have bottles to go. Service was friendly, professional, and especially patient, with the 3 in our party of 5, that couldn't decide what to order from the large selection of pastas, pizzas, and Italian Specialties. I've tried a few of the dishes here. I don't have a favorite, but the ones I have tried have been delicious. I recommend the salads. The service was fast and courteous, and the ambiance is a low-light setting. Great place to go with a group too if you're trying to decide a place to go. read more

This was quite an unexpectedly great experience for a small town off of route 66, Barstow. Great food with everything made from scratch. I ordered the spinach ravioli with pesto sauce and don't remember having Italian food that fresh and amazing. The side salad was big and the home made Italian red vinaigrette was delish! The decor was cute with route 66 quirky memorabilia. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely would go back again if ever in the area or recommend to anyone on a route 66 road trip! read more

I'm not sure if they're supposed to be soft, but the boneless wings were not crispy, maybe the sauce made the better soft. But, I did not like it, I was expecting more crispy. But again, maybe is this is the way that they're served. The ambience is okay it's a sports bar. Kind of small as well but very busy. The service was great. I was greeted within less than 2 minutes from sitting down, and I had multiple servers taking care of my table. So definitely they're not lacking in service. I just think since the last time I went there and this time the quality of food has diminished.

She let us know about the Denny's reward program, which we signed up for and even offered us desert but we had to pass it up because we were to full. I ordered a hot pastrami, I wanted soup instead of potato salad, the up charge was $1.95 (which is perfectly fine for obvious reasons) everything tasted so fresh, the plates are huge, my sandwich was massive. Do not come here ever unless you wish to smell the arm pits of several old farts. Service is the worst as well. Lady thought I was a man, the f***??Anyway lighting is bad, reminds me of Christmas and Grandma's house. This cabin makes me feel claustrophobic and sick. Music makes feel nauseous. They play garbage from the 70's. They also do not provide silverware so good luck eating with your hands. read more

Dinapoli's Fire House in Barstow, CA, was a great place to eat! There aren't many options in town, but the food here was delicious. We had ravioli, lasagna, and pizza--all very tasty! The Italian sodas were amazing, too. The restaurant is in an old firehouse, and the decorations make it feel special and cozy. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Living in Barstow for 5 years now and finally went in for a meal with the family. The food was delicious, the service was great, the price was fair. I love pasta and theirs were fantastic. We are not a family that normally eats out at a sit down restaurant, but this may become a regular spot. read more
