Dina's really captures the best of both worlds! It's chic enough to feel like a special night out but also has a comforting & welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. The space itself is beautifully designed, with just the right mix of modern touches and cozy details which sets the tone for the whole dining experience. I ordered the duck with rice and it was truly the highlight of my meal. The flavors were layered and balanced perfectly, and the duck was cooked to perfection--tender and flavorful without being too heavy. It's clear that a lot of thought goes into how the dishes are prepared and presented. Dessert was the only area that didn't quite shine as much for me. While it was nice to have a sweet ending to the meal, the desserts felt a little on the dry side. The extensive wine list and the full bar more than made up for it. There's such a wide variety to choose from that it feels like there's something for every palate, whether you're a cocktail fan or a wine lover. If this spot were closer to me, I know I'd be here all the time. Since it isn't, I don't get to visit as often as I'd like, but that almost makes it more special--it feels like a real treat every time I come. Between the atmosphere, the service, and the quality of the food, it's always a memorable experience, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I love the layout and the decorative design. The food didn't match my expectations . The latte was served lukewarm warm. My short rib panini. Had flat almost processed meat looking pieces of beef. I thought short rib was supposed to be shredded off the bone. The "whipped goat cheese was filled with lumps and was anything but whipped. Wasn't even close. Although the layout was nice it's not worth eating there again in the future for me.

Our first time in Ellicottville; Dina's was recommended to us. What a fun, delicious dining experience!!! Laura was attentive and Max checked in with us often. We chose the Duck breast special and the Ratatouille with chicken breast. Both were so incredible. Local beer and fruitful wine added to our evening! We will be back!

A wonderful experience for our bachelorette party staying in EVL. Everyone's food was divine! We had a large party of ten and they gave us a mostly private room in the back that fit us perfectly. (Call ahead!!) All the drinks were delicious and strong with fast service. Waitress was great, I can't wait to return!

Fried Calamari (~$17)

Ordered: Fried Calamari (~$17): served with homemade red sauce and chipotle aioli Teriyaki Glazed Salmon (~$35): chargrilled Norwegian salmon, Asian fried rice, sautéed carrots, and mango salsa Rosemary French Fries (~$7) Aya's take: We were in the area for the day and stopped by for dinner. Dina's has a rustic bistro vibe serving pizzas, pastas, steaks, and some Asian-inspired dishes. Being from NYC, I was surprised that the prices here were comparable to what you would find there. It didn't really make sense to me. The food was good but nothing really stood out. The Calamari was nicely fried, wasn't chewy, and paired nicely with the chipotle aioli. The Teriyaki Glazed Salmon was decent but the mango salsa felt a bit out of place. The salmon was cooked well but could've used some more salt. It honestly felt like a meal you can whip up at home and again, the price tag was a bit surprising considering the location and overall flavors. Decent for what it is; I can see why locals would come here!

Dina's in Ellicottville is a beautiful restaurant with a menu offering plenty of variety, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Upon arrival for breakfast, we were told there were no two-top tables available, despite several open tables in view, and we were seated at the bar. We waited over 10 minutes without acknowledgment, even though the bar wasn't particularly busy. Throughout our visit, we were told the staff was simply too busy to provide attentive service. Not due to complaining but making eye contact when a coffee refill was needed or when our food was served but we had no flatware to eat with and the server/tender immediately took off after essentially throwing our food at us. For the prices, we expected better quality in both food and service. Next time we're in Ellicottville, we'll be trying one of the other many dining options.

Came here during Fall fest and they did an EXCELLENT JOB during such a busy time! We had a reservation that was honored. I had their mocktail (forgot to take a picture but it was picture-worthy and so good! For dinner I had the chicken cecelia and it was so good I actually ate all of the tomatoes it came with and I don't even like tomatoes lol bravo to the chef!! The ambiance was warm and cozy and staff was wonderful.

Service was outstanding, the decor is beautiful and the best pecan pancakes I've ever had! We stopped in while traveling and highly recommend Dina's.

Amazing place to dine. The decor is beautiful. We were in the bar for coffee in the afternoon and then came back for dinner on the side dining room. Very rustic and charming. Cocktails were priced well. We had so much to choose from on the menu. I had meatballs and brussels spouts which were both amazing. My husband started with the ahi tuna and Cowgirl Ribs and loved them. Very good service and the place was lively without being too loud. We'll be back!

Absolutely love Dina's. The manager is super chill cool as well. Best service around. Food was so good. And there's plenty of seats to meet your needs. Put it on your list.

I went here today with my kids and some friends and their kids (ages 6 to 8 months). It being a Sunday at 1ish, we figured we'd miss the lunch rush and be able to cruise in and out. Somewhat surprisingly, it was pretty much full (which isn't a bad thing), but we got lucky and were able to sit within about 10 minutes. The place is quite fun with walled-off bar and table areas that adjoin at the front with an open space and the small music stage. The decor was cool with rough cut wood everywhere and TVs playing the Olympics (go US curling team!). And even though it was really busy, it wasn't all that loud given the number of people. Once we got seated though is where things started going off the rails a bit. It took a little bit for our server to come see us and then even more time to take our orders. The whole time she seemed either disinterested or distracted and certainly in a rush. I also got that same kind of vibe from the other servers I saw bouncing around too. In any event, we got our orders in and then it took them quite a while to come out as well even though we didn't get anything really special - pot roast poutine and side salad for me, cheeseburger and fries for my son, pizza with black olives for my daughter, and then our friends got chicken fingers and fries and I think maybe another cheeseburger or something. All in all, I think we ended up being there around an hour and a half through no fault of our own. For a beverage, I ordered myself an espresso martini. Now, mind you when I asked for a cocktail menu, they had none. They also "only" had 3 or 4 kinds of gin, to which our server told us that's not actually what it's called the "Gin" Mill for (not sure if that was sarcasm or serious). Either way, not really what I was expecting but oh well. It is a pub after all. On the flip side of that, I saw what looked like some really excellent looking cocktails being served up at the bar. Seems like a missed opportunity to me. On the food side, my side salad was pretty basic - lettuce, green pepper, tomato, and onion. I asked for balsamic and ended up getting two ranch. Oh well, I still like ranch. The pot roast poutine was absolutely epic though. Is it trying to actively kill me? Of course it is with all that fatty meat, greasy fries, and gravy. Aren't I allowed to splurge for the sake of you readers out there though? The roast was melt in your mouth tender and some big chunks of it to boot. I brought about 3/4 home and it made excellent leftovers for dinner too! The pizza was solid with a good cheese to sauce ratio, a nice, fluffy crust, and good overall taste and texture. I got a bite of my son's (plain) cheeseburger and it was also quite good with quality-looking bun and some really nice sear marks on the burger. The fries weren't my favorite with the sort of weird crunchy texture-style that like a Burger King has, but that's really just my personal preference. At around 230 is when the band started playing, which was an older couple playing some country tunes. My kids decided to go out and dance for a couple minutes, which the musicians seemed to get a kick out of. It was tough to make out the words she was singing, but it was a fun vibe regardless and it wasn't obnoxiously loud either. All in all (and cheating looking at some of the other reviews), it seems like this place has some front-of-house issues that need addressing but their food and drink are pretty solid. Since there's not a ton of food choices in town, I'd consider going again, but with EBC and others in walking distance, I guess there's not really any compelling reason that I should when I only make it down this way a couple times a year.

However, from the moment we sat down, it felt like our presence was an inconvenience. We waited about 15 minutes before placing our order, and when we did, our waitress rolled her eyes and made us feel uncomfortable for ordering. We ordered Cajun wings and were never told there would be an additional $6 charge for the seasoning. Then, at 9:48 p.m., she came to our table and simply said, "My shift is ending, so I'm closing you out," without asking if we needed anything else or even offering a polite goodbye. Throughout our visit, we also noticed her spending time sitting with and hugging a man instead of checking on her tables. The food itself was fantastic, and we still left a $25 tip on a $74 bill because we believe in tipping for the kitchen staff and the service industry. That said, the service was disappointing and came across as very unprofessional. We understand arriving close to closing isn't ideal, but customers should still be treated with courtesy.

The owner is present almost all the time tending to things and checking in on tables. I have never ever had a bad meal here. Like not ever. Not even a mediocre meal. Always rates very good to great. From the steaks. To the seafood, to the Italian specialties.....just tops. It is hard to get into during the ski season, and not too easy even off season, so please do plan and make a reservation. If you can snag a booth, that is the best. The bar is a great place to come for a drink with a friend or to watch a sporting event. My most recent visit to the restaurant was this past Friday, a nice night in early May. We met some friends here for dinner. We had two appetizers of stuffed peppers which are absolutely amazing with just the right amount of heat, and the Nona's Meatball with gooey rich ricotta cheese.....yum yum. My husband ordered a house salad, which was crisp and delicious. For entrees, our companion couple ordered the twin filets and the fish fry. Both were reported to be fantastic. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan and I ordered the Chicken Milanese. Absolutely excellent. For dessert, both couples shared their own order of Tiramisu. I ordered an Espresso and that simply rounded out an amazing dinner. I really can't recommend this place enough.

They were your run-of-the-mill frozen poppers; nothing special. The Stuffed Banana Peppers were a special for the day and they were pretty delicious. They were cheesy, stuffed with sausage and topped with a delicious tomato red sauce. The Chicken Wings were well done, as we requested but were average which was a surprise considering all of the claims to be award winning. The Gluten Free Sesame Bun was one of the best GF buns I've had but the burger patties were average. The meat didn't seem like it was seasoned but the cheese and grilled onions helped add some flavor. Not worth $15.95, in my opinion especially because you have to pay $1.50 each for any additional toppings and it only comes with generic potato chips. The Hamburg Carrot Cake Brown Ale was listed on the draft beer list but was served in a can. Our server was attentive and had a kind/sweet personality. Here's a few highlights about the space: - Pool Table - Golden Tee Golf Video Game - Hockey Foosball Table Game - Old Arcade Video Game - 8+ TVs; I believe they're usually tuned into sports. - Music was really loud; it was somewhat difficult to hear our server. Overall, I would come here again when visiting Ellicottville and try other menu items - like the Gluten Free Pizza and whatever their daily special happens to be.

Since mistakes were made the first take out order and I was told to repeat my order next time to make sure they get it right (although restaurant staff should do this typically; read back the order they took) i preceded to go slow and repeated it, even pointed on the menu. 30 minutes later at pick up, I noticed again I was overcharged by $40+ . I Asked to review the order to find the discrepancy and the lady that took my order input a completely different meal considerably more in price, up charged on salad, and did not credit from evening before that manager agreed to. Back and forth for 30 minutes and waiting for them to remake the incorrect meal and toss in the caesar side salad ($10) just to arrive back to the room and see the smallest salad without dressing! The manager made it a point to take out the regular sized salad and give the tiny one. At the very least leave the salad since you wasted so much of my time and frustration. I would have avoided writing this review, but that put me over the top. So much time wasted and met with unpleasant service, so disappointing as we used to be very happy with the service in all of our past visits over the years. On the contrary the food overall was good! Chef did a nice job, the other staff was just incompetent and seemed annoyed even though it was their fault over and over. I see similar reviews so maybe upper management should have a meeting with staff on how to better respond to situations and be more attentive. It was two different servers that took orders on two separate nights.
