I've passed this spot multiple times on my trek from home to Tennessee and always wanted to stop. Today we did! On Saturdays they have Barbeque and their plate options are a real deal. The menu gives you a ton of options between meats and sides, and all are very hometown and tasty. My husband got the pulled pork plate which came with two sides and a huge portion of meat. The baked beans were a bit spicy as they had added hot sauce to the mix which made it amazingly flavorful. My Mom got their chicken tender plate which was huge! The meat was tender and full of juice and she said the fries were perfectly done. I ended up with baked beans, fries, fries green tomatoes and some potato salad (as a small cheat). I loved the fried green tomatoes! I asked for a side of Barbeque sauce for them which brought out the flavor even more. We were impressed with the feel of the spot as if you were on someone's front porch or having a Barbeque in someone's back yard. And it was tasty! Plus their sweet tea is amazing and you get two free refills! Lovely staff and to the spot service plus a home feel. Highly thankful for this spot and will for sure try it again! Great food, cooked fresh. Wonderful and friendly service! Our waitress was very attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were a group of 9 Harley riders who popped in, and we were warmly greeted. Our food came out quickly, and it was hot and fresh! Only full running restaurant in Moss, TN. Had dinner take out and breakfast the next morning. Good food, reasonably price and friendly staff. Order at the counter take to go or stay a spell and sit in the quaint dining room. read more
