The peach filling tasted more like preserves or jam than a fresh fruit-based filling, which made them sweeter and less balanced than I expected. The restaurant itself has a modern, clean, open interior and a casual atmosphere. One thing worth mentioning is that it was fairly warm inside, probably around 78°F. It wasn't unbearable for me, but with North Texas temperatures easily reaching 100°F+, some diners may find the dining room warmer than comfortable. Parking is also somewhat limited, so keep that in mind during busier times. Overall, I'm glad I tried Hello Dumpling, especially after seeing it on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. There were some enjoyable flavors and creative ideas, but based on this visit, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations I had from the TV feature. I'd give it a solid 3 stars and will go back to try some fresh noodle entrees.
