Our server was training another server and she was so well informed and helpful with any questions I asked. The food, appetizer I ordered the Calamari which was fried perfectly! My son had a plan TRex burger from the kids menu and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and kids meals do not include soda. He enjoyed. I had the fried chicken sandwich and broccoli which I enjoyed! If you notice a bunch of water on the ground, it wasn't a small amount that it would ever dry without mopping it around, just mop it. Adding a caution sign doesn't help, we can clearly see it, it's a puddle. Just mop it up, daughter fell because of it. We shouldn't have to babysit our kids around the puddle, just mop it up. read more

What a fun restaurant for kids. Animatronic dinosaurs everywhere along with delicious food for the adults. It was like taking a second trip to the mesozoic era! The kids enjoyed playing with the life-sized animatronic dinosaurs including a roaring T-Rex and a majestic Triceratops. The menu was filled with dinosaur themed foods. We ordered a caveman strip steak and a tyanoburger with fries. Kids devoured the burger and boldly proclaimed that it was the "Best burger ever!" And If that steak is truly what the cavemen used to eat then they lived some pretty great lives back then. While we were eating, there was someone that came by and offered to take a photo for us. I thought they were with the restaurant but apparently they were not and after the pic, they said it would cost us 15 to print it. I think you should let the customer know that beforehand but that's just me. We got it but just wanted to give others a heads up so they dont get blindsided. Overall a great experience! The experience is nice, but this place is way too expensive! The inside is fully decked out with tons of dinosaurs and other prehistoric figures. I knew my daughter would really enjoy going here. I think, I was so excited that I didn't check the menu prices. The menu prices are INSANE! Kids meals start of at 18 bucks, no matter what you get! I ordered a single bacon cheeseburger and fries for about 24 bucks. My wife ordered grilled salmon and rice for around 35 bucks. My oldest got a shrimp bowl for around 31 bucks. And my youngest got chicken stripe for 18 bucks. Our server was new and she struggled a bit with her English. But, she was extremely kind and professional. Our food came out and it didn't look bad. But when my family dug in, they were immediately disappointed. My wife pointed out the rice being severely undercooked. My oldest said the same thing, and she pointed out that her shrimp was overcooked. My wife decided to eat around her rice. My burger was a tad dry, but the fries were good. My daughter was too busy dino watching to really try her food. The lids for the kids drinks don't fit, we found out the hard way by spilling it all over her. Other guests experienced the same thing while we were there. I complained about the shrimp bowl and a manager removed it, but charged us for the small salad that came with it. Absolutely horrible. The manager, Gokhar, is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and clearly unfit for the role. She alone will run the place into the ground. We walked in and had a distasteful and downright ugly experience with her at the hostess desk before being seated; so much that my young children asked to leave the restaurant before ordering "because of that mean lady". We did precisely as they asked (& trust me, based on the overpriced McDonalds menu, filth, visible health code and food safety violations, and outdated dinosaur decor... we didn't miss anything). If you're like me, you'll likely be surprised by your experience at DinoLand Cafe after seeing many 5 star Google reviews; however, if you read through the postings (& ask patrons that are dining there), you will quickly learn that they offer a 5% discount on your bill in exchange for a 5 star review. While they say they do this to promote "honest feedback", you must show proof of a 5 star rating in order to have the credit applied to your bill. So much for honesty, right? It's evident the DinoLand Cafe team doesn't care about laws and regulations because the business has actually replied to several reviews about this "promotion" where they deny or discourage it, but continue to do it. This is not only fraudulent, but wildly illegal-- The FTC and South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs (SCDCA) has been notified via official reports as of this evening, along with Google Maps/Reviews. Without falsifying information and bribing customers with a savings on an already ridiculously overpriced bill, there's no way this place will ever stay in business. We came here as a fun supper for our last night in Myrtle Beach. Aru was absolutely fantastic!! She was very attentive, friendly and professional. Our food was fresh and tasty. My kiddo got the Old Bones from the kid menu. My mom had the Lava Mountain BBQ ribs. And I had the Pinosaur Chicken with Pineapple. I would love for them to include the pineapple pieces in the rice. The birthday desserts at the end were delicious. Loved all the fun dinosaur and ice age statues and animatronics. Avoid this restaurant! The food was extremely overpriced, the service was slow, and the dinosaur decorations looked like they could have been purchased on Temu. Please look at the menu prices before you go. The kids menu has everything priced at $18. That price includes a very basic main (one of our kids ordered grilled cheese, the other ordered chicken fingers (they got 3)), frozen French fries, and a plastic cup of ice cream. This does not include the drink which costs $6. The cheapest thing on the adult menu is $24.... My wife and I split a meal and our bill for our family of 4 was still over $90. Before I post my review, let's get one thing straight right off the bat. This place is EXPENSIVE. A family of three should not expect to get out of here for under $100. With that said, this place is also a lot of fun. If you have kids who are into dinosaurs, and it's within your budget, Go for it! The burgers are good quality, though not exactly sure if they are $25 burgers. The desserts are pretty nice as well. Recommend trying the dragon egg. What you're really going here for however is the ambience and the floor show. There are statues and animatronic dinosaurs all over the place, as well as a prehistoric decor overall. I don't know what I was expecting but I got the temu version. The food is grossly over priced. Kids meals are $19 for simple things like nuggets and fries. Food on the adult menu starts at $19 and goes well up from there. They bribe you at the end 5% off an entrée for each google or Facebook review you do. Concept is nice but not worth the price at all. We also had two ten dollar off coupons and we were a large group doing a split check. We were told only one of us could use the coupon, since we joined tables. We joked and said we can push them apart, and we where told that it would only work if the split our table and put us on opposite sides of the restaurant. Not great customer service. read more

The restaurant's huge open dining space has plenty of dinosaurs all around, and most of them dance and scream in sync in intervals, accompanied by a screeching sound and led light thunders. A walking Trex also comes out every our and visits each table entertaining the guests and trying to chew off their head :p The food here is not that bad, but pricey. I liked the calamari a lot. Hawaiian flatbread and fried chicken sandwich were decent. The Pinosour shrimp probably was the best dish, with delicious blackened shrimp and rice served right inside a pineapple. For salad entree they serve huge bowls, full of lettuce, tomatoes, croquettes, cucumbers and fruits. The service was little underwhelming. Difficult to get hold of the server. They also offer 4% discount for cash. A lady also walks over to each table to take family photos. One picture is free, rest are 1 for $20 or 2 for $30. Our server Timeea was wonderful. Very friendly and took care of all our needs. The menu is small but packs a punch. We really enjoyed the ribs and the blackened shrimp in the pineapple dish. The atmosphere is a bit hit with young kids. My son was quite enamored with all the dinosaurs around the restaurant. We sat next to the big T-Rex! Very disappointed with how over priced the food was when we visited on December 30, 2025. I fully expected the high sound volume due to it being a kids focused restaurant, but poor food which is greatly over priced and poor service due to being very understaffed was unacceptable. We decided to split entrees since a burger and fries were approximately $27.99. The tomatoes on the salad accompanying the burger I shared were mush. I know December is not tomato season, but don't put them on the food item if they are bad. (I could feel they were mush before I even put one in my mouth so the kitchen had to have known they were bad.) People will still choose to go here because of the animatronic dinosaurs. If I had it to do over again I would have all four of us drink water, split a couple of appetizers (these cost around $20.00 each), and then split a dessert or two (these cost around $15.00 each). Then I would have provided the Dino experience to my group with only spending around $100 after tip and taxes. I couldn't help but think as I drove away that there were groups who probably charged their meal at this overpriced place on their credit card at around 30% interest. If you have to go here, please be smart about it. If you are the owners of this restaurant please consider your pricing structure. The cost per person is not a sustainable business model. read more

Holy prices! $19 for kids meals is an absolute scam. And that's the "cheap" stuff. Entrees for $25-35, soda was $6, beer at least $9 or more. We sat down, looked at the menus and stood right back up. Our waitress walked up just as we did and she said "it's the prices isn't it? It's soooo expensive." Something tells me that this happens all the time. She told us they don't advertise the prices online and anyone who doesn't is clearly a tourist trap. We went down the street to Thorny's - all kids meals are $7.77 and there are dinner specials for 10.99 before 5:30p. Our total bill was $67. So for what we spent there it was the equivalent of buying 3 kids meals and getting two adult entrees and our beers for free. It's a no brainer. read more

Unless your kids have never seen an animatronic dinosaur before, I would not waste my time coming here. Half the dinosaurs don't work. The place smells horrible when you walk in. (Musty) We knew this place would be expensive since an experience is included, however, when paying $20+ FOR KIDS per plate of food you expect it to come out prepared. My chicken wings were dry. When I asked for more mild sauce the waitress snapped back and said "don't they already have sauce on them?". Obviously not enough or I wouldn't have asked for more! By the time the sauce came out my $20 chicken wings were cold. I spoke with the manager who said he would give me 20% off our meal. When I received the ticket he only took 10% off one plate and 10% off another plate. Not exactly 20% off like promised. I even paid in cash where it is advertised there is a cash discount. No cash discount was given. Since they were hurting for money obviously I paid my bill and left without stopping in their smelly gift shop. Two words! TOURIST TRAP!! And I'm not a tourist, I am a local who brought friends from out of town because their son loves Dino's! We read the reviews before coming in and we should have listened! It was worse than I could have even imagined. First off. My meal was never even put in. My friend's son ordered a flatbread pizza without the pepperoni, it came with no cheese and loaded with pepperoni. The milkshake was warm milk with whipped cream on top! The two steaks that were ordered medium came out still mooing. I could go on and on but I'll spare you. I don't usually go all Karen but this was absolutely terrible. I waved over someone and asked is she was the manager, she said she was the assistant manager but come to find out she is a liar and is one of the owners. Gohar., You should be ashamed of yourself and your establishment and the way you treat your staff. You obviously don't have enough staff, probably because you are ridiculously cheap even though you charge 4.99 for a non alcoholic drink. The animatronics are nice, but you're paying a LOT for just that experience. The food is insane prices and I'm pretty sure a pack of premade ribs would taste better.
