The wine list was also reasonable with a good selection of local wines and wines from around Europe. I chose the sashimi starter (the only non German item on the menu) and really enjoyed it. It was good quality tuna sliced thick and just seared for a few seconds on both sides. For main I had the Rinderwürfel, beef cubes in a creamy mushroom and herb sauce and it was very nice. The dessert was ok nothing special. Prices are a bit on the higher side but the quality is good. The service was nice and our waitress was very efficient and friendly but equally very German (say only what is absolutely necessary with a smile lol). I liked her but I can imagine some people will struggle with that. The older lady who owns the place came around later and chatted with us as did the chef. We enjoyed a couple of really nice wines and all in all it was an experience I would happily repeat again.
