(she had braces that much I remember) for she was so wonderful, patient, and had a great sense of humor. She was pulled in a couple of different directions while helping me, but she remain calm, cool and collected through the whole thing and did all of it with a smile on her face! She was a phenomenal representation for this practice. I was then greeted by an MA (dark brown hair, but I don't remember her name unfortunately) who was very passionate and committed to her job demonstrated by her patient centered skills. She asked a series of open-ended questions to obtain information for my visit with the doctor. The doctor was great, she was very skilled at ascertaining my pain location and her assessment was very thorough. The second MA was also in there however it was not introduced until I had asked who she was. The doctor was very apologetic for understanding that she should've done that to begin with, and I did bring up that the second MA (blonde hair) had previously just walked in the room without knocking. We talked about patient dignity, patient confidentiality, and patient's rights and that the importance of always knocking on an exam room door and not just walking in. Dr. Garcia has set up several tests and diagnostic opportunities for me as she was very thorough, patient centered, and professional. I will say that this was worth the drive.

I saw the doctor over a month ago. He said he would give me Botox injections in my neck since they…read morehave worked for me at another doctor's office. They took my Medicare for the office visit with no problems. But when it came to using Medicare for the Botox, they said they don't do it that way. Medicare sent me and them a letter stating that they authorized the Botox with no problem. But JAX spine says I have to pay $170. I spoke with Medicare and they said if they take Medicare, they are supposed to get the authorization and then they bill them. JAX spine won't do it that way. They said they will not pay for it first and then bill Medicare after the injection. If a doctor's office says they will take Medicare, they should take it for everything, not pick and choose. I've lost over a month of getting relief for neck pain. I would definitely NOT recommend this place! They should have told me this upfront instead of making me wait and going in circles to get this resolved. By the way, I tried to speak to someone about this and it took 3 days for them to get back to me.

I even learned that he infringed on HIPPA from another practitioner there who knew all about my conversation with him over the phone regarding a controversial medication, this person even knew that he was talking to me while I was at Chick fil a with my grandkids!!
