We called again when we had major water damage to the back outside and inside wall of the house where rain had splashed up and under the outside vinyl siding for years. Mr Vasquez knew what to look for and how to repair it correctly, and he was happy to explain his process in detail. He and his men replaced structure boards, insulation, wallboard and wood moulding across almost the entire back wall of the house. They used treated lumber and also wrapped the wood with a product that would be water resistant. When they were done with the work, they cleaned up all of the mess, with the help of their office manager, including sweeping the deck and inside hardwood. We were very impressed with the work and the work ethic. All of this was finished in two days. We will definitely call this company again.

She told Vasquez that the roof was leaking and that she needed the work done before Hurricane Season. He gave her an estimate and told her that she needed to pay half to order materials. The amount came out to $9849.50. She went to his office and gave a check. After not hearing from Vasquez for a couple of months, she called to ask why he had not started work on the house and was told that they were waiting for materials. After another month passed and not hearing from Vasquez, she called again and was told that they were still waiting for the materials. Finally, after more than 5 months of excuses and getting the runaround, she Vasquez to return her money. As of today November 25, 2025 he has not done so. This is money that my mother has saved over the years. I don't know if Vasquez is having money problems or if his business is not doing well but that is no reason for him to keep a 92 year old woman's money. This situation has caused my mother a lot of stress. I would be very wary of hiring Vasquez to do any work. I read some past reviews and saw that Vasquez has a habit of ignoring customer's calls and complaints. We saw on his website that he is a Better Business Bureau accredited business but we will be filing a complaint with the BBB against Vasquez Roofing. I also read on the Vasquez Roofing website that he calls himself an honest contractor. Vasquez needs to buy a dictionary to know what the definition of "honest" is. The owner of this business is Hipolito Vasquez.

Yet, I was consistently disappointed at the upkeep considering we were paying for bimonthly maintenance. Tall weeds growing through pavers, repeatedly dead native plants (like lantana), overgrown bushes, exposed sprinkler lines, cut sprinkler lines sticking out of the ground and not repaired, and a sprinkler system completely turned off just to offer some examples. After two years of having to completely replace our plants (and not due to the freezes) and repeated attempts to work with Chris to get our maintenance on track, I finally gave up.
