Came home for a birthday dinner, went to buy a game while I was here. Didn't find out they gave me the wrong version of the game until I was back at home. Called them and one of the guy sent me the right copy without a problem.

Love the atmosphere of gaming & movies. if you thought you won't be able to find it anywhere else you should try disc replay. I bought one game today while I was there, might actually be back on Wednesday and have a shopping spree feel on my hands.

I like this store. It honestly felt like I was Marty McFly & had gone back in time to the 80's! It's a decent sized store with tons of old records, collectibles and video games. I even found some Atari games. Really cool. Now if only I could find my DeLorean....

Out of ALL the disc replay's I've been too, this IS by far the BEST. Thank god its in my back-yard. First off, ALL or almost all the products brought into this store are used and ARE in PERFECT to NEAR Perfect condition. They will not except a disc if there are scratches on it. I been shopping there for.........well over 10 years now and never had a problem with anything I purchased from there. Their selection is AMAZING tons of cd's, surprisingly ALOT of Classics. I am there almost every week and I am always surprised to see just how many GOOD cd's they have, and I'm talking about EVERY genre of music (except techno/electronic). Their DVD selection is also AMAZING. I can always find the movie I want there. They also have a HUGE game section ranging from next gen systems(ps3,x360,wii) to old school systems(nintendo,snes,n64). They sell records posters. I mean they have just about everything. ITS A NO-BRAINER, GO TO THIS STORE! read more

This place is the best!! I have asked for very hard to find movies that are not found no matter what video store I go to. Disc Replay not only had 2 movies that were hard to come by, but they also held it for me until I came in to pick it up. NOW THAT'S SERVICE!! I rate this store 5 stars. read more

I have been going there for as long as they have been open ,when I am searching for one of those rare gems,they will go way out of their way to find it for me. if you are have strong passion for music in any genre, these guys know their stuff and get it to you fast. I go no where else. read more

I've came to this store multiple times, & I've yet to be satisfied. One time I came in with a box of Xbox 360 games, & a clerk went through them without asking, but I guess it was obvious what I brought them for. He cherry picked the best games (Battlefield 4, Call of Duty:Ghosts, etc) & made an assortment of 15 games. After looking up all my games & not walking me through the process, he game me the grand number of $32. "Cash" he said. At just over $2 a game I told him I pass. I'm not a fool, I did my homework before coming in to sell something. On their website they said they offer 2 prices: cash & store credit, as I was only offered a cash price. Also before bringing my games up to the counter I looked at prices of my same games on display in their store. Off the bat I see Battlefield 4 for sale for $26 & COD:Black Ops 2 for $20, so you could say I was offended with their offer. I honestly could write about my displeasure of this store all day, but it's just a Yelp review. This is just my experience trying to sell at the Crest Hill location, I could not say anything their other locations. I could probably write a couple more reviews about their exponential selling prices & the cleanliness of the store, but I digress. I'm not stupid, & I'm offended that they treated me like I was. There are all genres to be found from decades past to today (Ie. Taylor Swift and other current artists.) There are records, cassettes, CD, and even 8 track tapes! You can even purchase some artist related merch like t-shirts. If you don't have a record player, I believe I saw one for sale in the front. They have a little bit of everything. It's a labyrinth of small paths, dead ends, strange rooms, all full to the ceiling with stuff, literally stuff hanging from the ceiling.

It has to be the largest of all the disc replays since there move to a larger storefront. They have a great selection of movies and games, not to mention the music. I've only purchased 3-4 CD's from them but I have purchased easily over 20 movies from them and about a dozen PSOne & PS2 games. They give Game Stop a run for their money in the used game market (Game Stop is in an adjacent strip mall, FYI). I have been going here for nearly ten years and I plan on keeping them as my primary go-to for used games & movies. Specifics: They are about twice the size of the Bolingbrook & the new Downers Grove Disc Replay locations. They have a large quantity of used game consoles as well as games. The largest selection of used T.V. show boxed sets I've seen. They are competitively priced vs Game Stop or Play-N-Trade. They are a bit crowded and, as with most used resellers, may often be out of a specific title, especially if it was kinda rare. read more

I'm a huge movie fan, and I rely on Disc Replay for cheap movies. Blockbusters, Criterion, foreign...you name it, I'm looking for it. This particular Disc Replay is the best. The have the largest selection I've seen, and whenever I go, I'm always surprised with what I can find. They even have books, pictures, memorabilia...so much. The prices are great too, about $4-6 on average and $14-20 for Criterion. Their deal is the best: buy 3, get the 4th free. This is really awesome for someone like me who makes a special trip to Crest Hill and will buy 20-30 movies. Oh, and they don't make the cheapest movies free - every fourth movie in your pile is free. I have gotten free Criterion movies on a normal day. FREE. CRITERION. MOVIES. This place is great for a diverse collection of available games, movies, records, collectibles and a perfect place to go if you enjoy gaming, TV shows, movies, vinyl records etc. Staff is informed and friendly, it is not really wheelchair accessible as it is cramped and my brother struggled maneuvering through the store with his wheelchair but there are plenty of parking spots since this store shares a parking lot with Dollar Tree & Subway etc. read more

As a musician (Bassist) I always search Disc Replay in Crest Hill first. 95% of the time, the music I am looking for is in stock. 5% of the time, Disc Replay will order it, and delivered in a timely and professional manner.
