Took my classic to them to install a $1200 head unit, 2 pioneer 650 pro, 2 alpine tw tweeters, alpine 6x9, and a Hi-performance 1200 rms 4 channel amp and a 2400 rms mono amp. $2000 in amps. I was billed $700 Which I thought was reasonable. When I got my car back with all this power, it didn't sound right. I hit the fader then balance and neither were functioning. They used the car"s speaker wiring rather then rewire. So, I left the car and that was done and they mounted the 2 amps which laying on the floor of the trunk. So, the next day I went to clean the car (they left all the wiring debris), I looked under the seat and the special adapter needed to properly install the rear speakers was there. So, I pulled the grills off and they were just laying in the cavity. Add to that the panel was not replaced correctly. So, I went back again. This time the installer tells me its a old car. That was the last straw for me. Well I bought a DSP 3sixty 3 went to have it installed and the installer there tells me whoever installed the amps screwed sheet metal screws into them. What! I was fired up. I went back to discount and they tell me they didn't do it. I guess they can handle basic because I had been there before several times, no problems. However. this may have been more than they could handle, but the dollars were more than they could let get by. I don't know! What I do know is I have 2 amps that if they stop working the manufacturer is going to refuse warranty. A hacked up install that was costly. Be aware that's all I'll say! read more
