My husband and I had to clean out a POD and we did not know the area at all. I call Walter, he sent his brother over with a dumpster on a holiday weekend, even though they were closed! His brother helped us load the dumpster and then hauled it away. Both men were very gracious to us. We would have been stuck with another month of a rental of the POD had they not been so kind and rescued us! Their price was more than fare! I've used discount dumpster rental for about a year now for my business and the no extra surcharges for weight are superb. I bid jobs based on these numbers and getting him with extras means a loss for everyone. As with any dumpster company or landfill there are certain extra fees for certain items, also keep in mind the height requirements clearly defined in the agreements. The NYS DOT regulates these things. Lester is great and he takes pride in what his service provides as do I as a small general contractor. I highly recommend this company. I shopped around and think knowing the full price in advance is helpful, others charge by weight and I wanted to know exactly what I was paying. Lester and his brother were more than fair and prompt with drop off and pick up. We needed an extra few hours on day of pick up and they were able to let us to keep the dumpster for an extra day, with no additional charge.
