I realize staffing is a problem almost everywhere you go, but it still could be improved. We witnessed two store associates get into an argument with each other over going to the bathroom. Every time we go, we have to wait almost ten minutes at the register for someone to come and check us out. I think three stars is a bit generous, but we will go there if we don't feel like driving to a better pet store.

They have bulk seed, cds (for urban dwellers who don't often hear the natural sounds of birds), books, houses, squirrel proof feeders and other accessories. The feeders are great and come in varying sizes. They also have those that are designed to keep squirrels from stealing the seed. While these are cleverly designed and entertaining to watch, (video demonstration), they seem a bit cruel. I love squirrels and to watch them just fly off the structure and hit the ground is uncomfortable. Yes, I understand that they are resilient and uninjured but it is still awkward to watch. They do have several options, some are just sensitive to weight and will collapse if the squirrel jumps on the surface. The one that I thought was too much, actually scared me when I touched the surface. It made a very loud noise and immediately started to rotate, (aggressively). If you have a friend or family member who loves the sounds of birds chirping, they have a really cool, very authentic CD that replicates the sound. It would be the perfect stocking stuffer. I really appreciated their reading room which consisted of many books on the subject of birds and a comfortable chair to sit and read. The ladies in the store appear to be genuinely passionate about birds and they are very knowledgeable and helpful. So if you need to know anything about the proper care for your bird, this is a great place to visit.

I have two golden retrievers who look at me like I have betrayed them if their treats aren't from there. Their teeth are pearly white due to the chew bones we get every month. Great prices and my babies Zignature is their favorite. You definitely need to get your food and goodies from here. Being a frequent buyer I get discounts points for all that I buy there. I save more than if I bought from anywhere else. They also have a store in Ball Ground. No, I'm not paid for this, just know quality and savings. Come check them out.
