Very Unprofessional Customer Service,,all these guys think about is selling you new tires,they don't want to fix and repair flats even on fairly new tires. They want to sell you new tires because there is more money in it for them. Very dishonest people. It happened to me again today. The tire they claimed was not repairable was fixed somewhere else with no problems. People please be aware of these dishonest people. This was the second time that happened to me at 9518 S. Discount Tire is my tire store! Grant, Jason, Dustin and Jed all worked without complaint on my vintage 1964 corvette roadster with knock off wheels. The wheels have been on the car since 1997 and were frozen to the hubs. We all pounded and jumped up and down on a breaker bar until we finally got them to break loose. Applying anti-seize and shimming the pins and lining up the wheels to fit the pin was going over the top to help me. I have never had such dedicated, pleasant, hard working guys ever touch one of my cars as they did. You would be hard pressed to find another shop or company to equal the effort these young men gave to my vintage sweety! THANKS GUYS! I used to love this place. They had the best deals around. After my last few trips there, I am never going back. The past few times I went, they would come back out and inform me that there were a few lug nuts that were cross threaded and so they had to rip off the entire stud to get the wheel off. I then had to go to a mechanic to have them install new studs, which can range between $20-$50 bucks each, with labor. Now like I said, I always went to this Discount Tire. They were the only people to ever work on my tires. So if my lug nuts got cross threaded when they were installed, it would have been done by this place. So they messed up my stuff and then I had to go pay for it get fixed? Thats ridiculous. Today, I went back there to get my summer tires back on my car. They told me it would be about 20 minutes. After about an hour of waiting around, I get up and look around only to find that my car is parked outside and had been for a while. They just completely forgot about me. There was about three other customers there and they managed to forgot about one of them. I was sitting out in the open, so its not like they could have missed me. I had to go ask for my keys back so I could get on with my day and I got nothing more than a half assed apology. When I finally go to leave, I find out that my car is now majorly misaligned. Prior to going in, my car at a slight pull to the right, barely noticeable. Now if I let go of the wheel for a second my car tries to run me off the road to the left. Im sure they are gonna tell me I have to go pay for an alignment myself as well, regardless of it being a mistake made by them. This place has gone to crap. I am never going back and I do not recommend anyone does. read more

I've been going to Discount Tire for over 20 years but that has now ended. Customer service is their last priority now days. Trying to sell you tires and not servicing perfectly good older ones you bought from them is their priority. Took in my 4-Runner to have tires rotated and balanced. Tires are 13 years old but have almost new tread because we don't drive the car much. I was told that they would not work on my tires because they were over 10 years old. Went to a competitor and had the work done done for a fee. Discount Tire has lost a customer for good. read more

I called ahead and they said they would rotate my tires for NO CHARGE. I went in and the young kid running the front counter walked out with me and 1st thing out of his mouth was your front tire shows ware and I can't service your tires. End of discussion. So I went to Les Schwab they serviced them just fine. Cost me 20 bucks. read more

I've only had my new car for a couple of weeks and already my car let me know I had low pressure on one tire. I decided to stop by to see if they could fit me in. Turns out I must have picked up a nail somewhere and they fixed it at no charge and I was on my way in about 40min. We have purchased tires here before on previous vehicles and will continue to do so because of great customer service we always receive. read more

LOVE these guys!! Always so nice and helpful. Took my car in with a flat, they had me and my certificate on file, and within 20 minutes, I had a brand new tire. It only cost me a tiny bit to renew the certificate. Like I said, I love these guys. They are GREAT! read more

These guys are great, will get you the right tires for your car and they are very fast. I will go back to this place.

First, I was a repeat customer. I ordered a tire via their website to replace a flat. No problems with the order processing. After ten days, I called the store to inquire about my order. The Individual I spoke to informed me their web ordering system had been changed, and in fact, my order had not been processed. If I had not called, no one would have told me anything. He reprocessed the order and told me it would be another week. He also said they would call me when it was in. I called back after a week and spoke to a different individual. No trace of the order in the system, but interestingly enough, one tire of the exact spec I ordered had arrived at the store a few days earlier. I said, "I guess that's mine," and asked again why no one had bothered to call me. At this point, I was glad I had a second car I could use. So, I told him, I would be by to pick it up. He asked what car it was for and after hearing my answer and checking his system, declared, "I can't sell you that tire, it's not rated for your car." Well, if that's the case, why did your system take the order one month earlier? I had enough and ordered and received the tire a few days later from another vendor. Whether or not they can sell me the tire is irrelevant. What is relevant is the complete lack of customer service from these guys especially from someone who had bought a decent set of 4 high end tires from them before. Never again. read more

Had my tires balanced and rotated at 25,000 miles on my 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited about 5 months ago and came back this Saturday to have them rotated and balanced at 29,000 miles. They checked the tires and came back and said "not worth balancing and rotating since those tires (Conti's) only last 25,000 miles so they are due to replace." Tread depth was 3 and 4 on the tires, which are getting to the point of replacing. So I asked "why did you sell me a service contract when you know those tires dont last longer than 25,000 miles?" I priced out the tires at Discount Tire and they were about $150.00 MORE out the door than Costco, which gave a $70 instant rebate up front (vs. mail in at Discount Tire) on Michelin Premier A/S's. Selling service contracts to customers when you know there is no value is sleezy business. My mistake for being a sucker for that service but at the same time, bad business for a long time customer. I got my tires installed and out the door at Costco for $758.00---road hazard, free rotation/balance for life, and I can shop when my tires are rotated and balanced every 5000 miles or so. Suggestion: get a TV in your waiting room or something more customer orientated for those who have to wait. Granted Discount Tires generally matches prices but its tough to beat the value of Costco, and I can entertain myself while getting tires rotated and balanced in the future. read more
