We just moved here and are searching for a home church. It's just me and my daughter, as I'm a single mom. The website said they start at 11, so we showed up at 10:45, come to find out they're doing a special series for the month and don't start until 11:30. Had to drive around the parking lot a couple times before we could get a spot. Walking in, the greeters at the door didn't even say anything to welcome us in. It seemed disorganized. Everyone walking everywhere, looked like a bunch of bees flying around. This is a LARGE church by the way with police helping with traffic. We walked over to kids check in (which took us a while to find. I thought I was standing in line for it bc I followed the signs, but turns out it was just a guy and his daughter waiting for someone). The kids leaders were extremely welcoming and kind to my daughter. My daughter even made a friend. Austin checked us in and he was super friendly and helpful. After I dropped my daughter off, I went to wait for them to let us into the auditorium. Standing there by myself, not one person came up to me. They were all saying hey and chatting with people they knew, all regulars at the church. I was extremely uncomfortable. I did see the worship leader greet the people next to me, so I give them props for that. It was nice to see him trying to get to know people. They finally let us into the auditorium. The music was SO loud. The bass especially was irritatingly loud (I come from loud, band like churches, and this was bad). Still no one greeted me as I was sitting there for 15 mins waiting for church to start. When the band started playing, I could tell it wasn't good. The bass and drums were so loud, i couldn't hear the singer hardly. It was really hard to drop everything and focus on God because it was so loud. I did like how everyone was high energy. That's what I'm looking for in a church, is the excitement of praising the Lord. Apparently everyone had a coke and popcorn to which I had no idea I could get, since no one told me. So everyone around me was eating their popcorn and drinking their coke. I wish I could have gotten in on that. For this series, they watched clips of a movie and talked about Bible verses that relate to that scene. It was okay. The pastor was on screen the whole time, never in person (all pre-recorded). I wasn't into that. Someone wouldn't be able to write notes in paper bc it was dark the whole time with the lights out for the movie. It felt very mainstream being there, not a lot of people focusing on God, I feel like they're all there for their friends or to watch a movie. I also felt like I dressed up in heels and a dress to go to the movies. You could see the disorganization probably with the issues I encountered in my one first visit. Wonderful Bible believing uplifting church where we believe in Loving God and loving people!

First visit today after trying out a few others in the area. The presence of the Lord was undeniably present. My hubby and, I who are not particularly church going folk, admitted to the overwhelming feeling of joy and love the whole time. I think we also felt at home because of the various age groups and races being represented here. Thank you to the parking team, greeters, kids ministry helpers, and anointed Worship Leaders that made our visit so welcoming. We will be back to praise God with our new family !! read more

Great church, where The Gospel is centered around Jesus Christ. Almost in every service someone is repenting, and putting their trust in Jesus or being baptized in water. It's great to see this every Sunday. Pastor Ken and staff creates an environment where ppl are not judged for coming as they are. No matter of ones background He welcomes all ppl who are in search of Truth. The messages taught are relevant for your situation right here and now without watering down the Word of God. Love is the motivator and it's great to see. God made, man broke it, and Jesus fixed it. Only Jesus bridges the gap between The Father and man so man can have a relationship with God. read more

I have found this church to be so full of love. They reach out to anyone new and encourage groups. Lots of families and big kid ministry especially junior senior high. read more

This church is my favorite church because pastor Ken speaks English/down to earth/in Layman's terms. He quotes the word and makes common sense in every sermon. The music beforehand get you in the mood and is joyfully rocking the house with drums guitars and sung by wonderful fantastic amazing singers. If you don't believe what I'm saying, then please go to their website and listen to one of pastor ken's sermons. His sermons are spoken clearly and aplliable to everyday and in everyway of each of our lives in just a way that you will easily understand how God made it. We broke it. First time visitor review. I came and the doors were closed till just before the service started. This might encourage members to socialize but as an alone visitor it was awkward. Then I was told where to sit, I prefer to sit off to the side since I worship in sign language and don't want to distract. Halfway through worship I was interrupted and told to not leave an extra chair and move down. Now I couldn't worship or set my bible on the chair next to me to take notes. I was set between two larger people I didn't know who were both physically touching me while sitting, during COVID. I was very uncomfortable. The sermon had multiple biblical errors (not referring to interpretation but actual preaching on things that are in the Bible but preaching "we don't know, the Bible doesn't say"). I wont be visiting again. read more

Discover Life Church... I'm not sure what kind of a church it is as I had to leave before the sermon. The music was louder than a Rammstein Concert, except not as good and without the pyrotechnics. If you are a good musician, it doesn't have to be painfully loud to be heard; if your intent is to praise God, then once again, nuance over loud noise is more meaningful. This isn't a church, it's something keeping people from finding church. read more

I started attending Discover Life Church 8 wks ago. God, Discover Life Church, Pastor Ken & all the amazing, selfless individuals who serve there have saved my life. All the volunteers & Pastors have been unbelievably kind to me since I 1st attended. I was agnostic & full of resentment before attending Discover Life. Now God is the boss in my life. This is truly a church for lost and broken people. Pastor Ken preaches love and truth every single Sunday. We "love the Hell out of people." The worship is amazing and DL Worship has an original live album releasing called Hope In Your Love this week. We are so excited about it. The people are genuine, loving Disciples of God.
