I went with my mom and sister who loved their food but I'm only rating my own. Love the outdoor seating option here, staff is super friendly and helpful. My gripe was my food...I got the Cobb salad and subbed grilled chicken and the chicken smelled, tasted not great and was not seasoned. It didn't taste spoiled or anything, I think the non seasoning was the issue. I asked them to replace with crispy chicken which they were happy to do but they gave me 3 kids chicken tenders instead of the crispy chicken that came on my sister's salad and mom's chicken and biscuits. My tenders still had the tendon strip in there was gave me major ICK ,I couldn't cut the chicken. Totally ruined my lunch and for $18 that sucks. read more

Great brunch option with a lot of options! Dish Society is a more "fast casual" spot - you order at the front, take a number, and find a table. This location was spacious and has lots of seating. Ordered fresh squeezed orange juice, Spicy Chicken Biscuit +eggs, and the BLT with chips. The juice was refreshing and worth the spend. Chicken Biscuits are always a solid choice - the biscuits are a bit hard but not horrible. BLT was good the addition of the avocado, egg, and aioli really spice this dish up. Dish Society is a safe option and we definitely will try other menu items in the future. read more

Dish Society for social hour before a wine class across the street @Total Wine...YES! Walked across the street to do a bite at social hour. The place was empty! So we did NOT know where to order as NOBODY was at the counter. We decided to sit at the bar to make sure to get seen. Husband got a $5 beer and I got an ice latte. We had the lettuce wraps, which were good but small and the goat cheese balls. All was ok for a quick bite during social hour. Longtime fan of Dish Society. I recently went to this location for breakfast. Walk in, and order the the counter before seating yourself. Not sure if this is the system for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. I opted for a honey and cinnamon decaf coconut milk latte. (Say that three times really fast.) And a gf avocado toast with a fried egg atop. They also put mascarpone cheese on top... interesting touch. They have GF pancakes btw! First Watch doesn't even have that. I loved this dinner so much. The citrus salmon was exactly what I was craving! However, it was a smaller portion and I wasn't exactly full by the end of it. The pretzel bread pudding was confusion at first but as soon as I tasted it, it was warm, milky and delicious. Pair it with the cappuccino and it was perfect. Service was so helpful and sweet! I was able to order dessert from the table instead of going back to the counter and our server was so sweet and added a voucher for us to come back again for beignets on the house. I definitely will! We went to have breakfast at this location this past Sunday. Very busy place! I ordered the avocado toast and half portion of the granola bowl. My son ordered brisket and eggs, and my husband ordered the house breakfast tacos. We all shared a portion of the beignets. They both drunk coffee and I ordered regular orange juice. The good points: My avocado toast was really good. The lemon zested honey mascarpone definitely gave it a whole new flavor. The orange juice was freshly made and it was delicious! The beignets were amazing! Crunch, warm, and sweet! The sweet coffee anglaise was delicious! A treat! Now a not so good point: my granola bowl had so much nuts and seeds that I could barely taste the yogurt! I will post the picture. Maybe it was a mistake because as I walked to the bathroom I saw other customers eating their granola bowls and they didn't have nearly half the amount of seeds and nuts my had. But my bowl was nearly full and I ended up eating just the fruits on top. Neutral point: My son said that the grits under his brisket were too heavy. They tasted good but it was heavy. Price is reasonable and the menu has a lot of options. Your order yourself at the counter and they bring the food to your table I think my only qualm is that the food portions weren't that big. Brunch places usually have fairly large portions but here, the amount was about what I'd eat at home(5'2 female). I got the Nutella French toast since it seemed to be popular and it only came with two pieces. Many other places usually provide around four. Overall my experience was good, but nothing notable. It's our first time at Dish Society and usually one doesn't know what to make of chain restaurants. There was a really long line at 6 pm but Gwen the cashier was so gracious. The waitstaff were all fantastic and we appreciate their service on a busy Tuesday night. The food was surprisingly fresh and very good! Stopped in on a weekday a little after lunch time. It wasn't busy so we ordered our food and found a table easily. The servers were nice and our food came out pretty quickly. My mom ordered a bowl of their tomato bisque and their chicken pesto sandwich. The soup wasn't our favorite, it was leaning on the sweet side. The sandwich however was decent, the pesto had a good flavor but there was barely any pesto on the sandwich. My sister had their pesto pasta, it was good as well but it had so much sauce that it was almost soupy. I ordered the bbq brisket sandwich and it was fantastic! The brisket was cooked nicely it was tender and the sauce was tangy. The slaw added the perfect crunch. If I were rating just based on my dish I'd give a higher rating, but because everyone else's dishes were just okay I don't think I can give a higher rating. read more

My parents and I visited for lunch. Both my Mom and I ordered a quinoa-stuffed avocado. The dressing on the side salad is delicious. The avocado needs more flavor. If they add the vinaigrette from the salad it would taste better. I ordered the hibiscus drink from the self-serve station. It tasted like medicine. My Dad seemed to enjoy his burger. I wish they had a vegetarian burger. I was craving something sweet. They had run out of brownies. I opted for a chocolate pie. Apparently the pies come from Proud Pie. While the pie was silky and chocolate, $7 for a slice is too much. I should have inquired about the price before being rung up for it. The setup is you walk in, order, take your number to the table and your food is brought out to you. Our food came fast but was not as hot as I hoped it would be, thus the 4 stars. I will say both me and my friend felt the food was of a higher quality and delicious. Other than that service is amazing, staff responded fast to any issues or concern. I came here yesterday with my friend who came from out of town and we were both hungry so we just looked for a place that could get us something quick and filling. The restaurant runs as counter service so you enter and order at the counter to the left first then find a table. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with wheat bread instead of their usual bun and a side of fruit instead of the fries it would come with. I got a regular drink and we found a table on the side with a bench. As we were waiting for our food to come out, there were alot of kids and parents taking their kids to eat or go to the side patio that has a mini play space. Some of these kids were not very mannered (bumping into servers and even myself without saying anything after and running around the restaurant when guests were trying to have conversations at their own table). Once our food came out, I'd say everything was very delicious. My friend got fries and those were so crispy and delicious! I loved my sandwich but was too full to eat the 2nd half of it from a late lunch so I saved it for later. The fruit was fresh and I overall enjoyed the meal. Probably would reconsider coming to the location though because the kiddos were too loud at that time and parents didn't really manage their kids very well either.- Not counting against the restaurant. Service was great and twice we had someone come check in on us to see if we wanted anything else before we finished our food and left for the day. Visiting TX and was craving shrimp and grits. I found this place on Yelp. You get a free appetizer for checking in on Yelp. The Fried Smoked Gouda Grit Balls and the Shrimp & Grits were both 10/10. Both were so flavorful and talk about creamy grits. The margarita was good. I got there during happy hour. Who can complain about a $7 cocktail? I started at the bar but had to go outside patio to eat because the AC had the inside freezing. I did mention it to the bartender/server but I guess she couldn't adjust the temp. We were looking for a quick late bite and it was actually good. The atmosphere is a bit grungy, casual and low key, the setup was a tad bit quirky to figure out, but the food was decent. Nothing to sing about, but satisfying. We had one dish that wasn't quite warm enough, and after a bit of discussion with one of the cooks, another warmer dish was brought out to our table. Came for their social hour to get half-priced drinks, and had a great experience! The decor was nice, it felt very clean inside, and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful! We got the PASSOA LEMONADE and the FROZEN DREAMSICLE and they were both delicious!! TEXAS PECAN PESTO PASTA: This had great flavor and was so delicious!! I added chicken to the dish and they were very generous with the amount given. The chicken was also very tasty, and not dry at all. SHRIMP & GRITS: The grits tasted really buttery and delicious! I have always loved this location even during the pandemic they are always great with customer service and the food is always top notice. I had not been here in a while since I moved from the area so I was pleasantly surprised that the biscuit and gravy came spicy as it was spicy but in all the right ways. The black coffee was just the way I liked it which made for an even better breakfast. I also enjoy that they have so many inside seating since it is so hot outside. I got the crispy chicken kale ceasar salad. The chicken was severely underseasoned and they gave one small container of dressing that wasn't even filled all the way. It made the salad dry and not a good experience to eat. The lettuce and kale were fresh and they put a decent amount of parm cheese on top. However the chickpeas really did nothing for the salad, it felt a bit greasy in the mouth. If there was more dressing, I definitely would have enjoyed this a lot more but this experience had a lot left to desire. read more

I also ordered veggie tacos since I'm vegetarian. I really enjoyed the tacos. They had lots of filling and it came with a side of black beans.
