The social hour at Dish Society is great! We were able to try so many different things for under $75. I was impressed by their cocktails, which are quite strong. Service was a bit slow but good. The patio is great place to hang out with your kids!

Great brunch option with a lot of options! Dish Society is a more "fast casual" spot - you order at the front, take a number, and find a table. This location was spacious and has lots of seating. Ordered fresh squeezed orange juice, Spicy Chicken Biscuit +eggs, and the BLT with chips. The juice was refreshing and worth the spend. Chicken Biscuits are always a solid choice - the biscuits are a bit hard but not horrible. BLT was good the addition of the avocado, egg, and aioli really spice this dish up. Dish Society is a safe option and we definitely will try other menu items in the future.

Dish Society for social hour before a wine class across the street @Total Wine...YES! Walked across the street to do a bite at social hour. The place was empty! So we did NOT know where to order as NOBODY was at the counter. We decided to sit at the bar to make sure to get seen. Husband got a $5 beer and I got an ice latte. We had the lettuce wraps, which were good but small and the goat cheese balls. All was ok for a quick bite during social hour. We will return as the food here is always fresh but the service is hit or miss.

Longtime fan of Dish Society. I recently went to this location for breakfast. Walk in, and order the the counter before seating yourself. Not sure if this is the system for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. I opted for a honey and cinnamon decaf coconut milk latte. (Say that three times really fast.) And a gf avocado toast with a fried egg atop. They also put mascarpone cheese on top... interesting touch. They have GF pancakes btw! First Watch doesn't even have that. Love that ingredients are locally sourced when possible and simply a higher quality than your run of the mill cafe or diner.

Modern restaurant and tasty eats. Service and atmosphere: The restaurant is modern, nicely decorated and very inviting. They offer many setting options. Bar area is also available. Service was pleasant. Food and drinks: Very good selection in both areas. The menu offers many different dishes. You can choose breakfast, lunch or dinner plates. You have to order before seating. Food was hearty and well made. Good flavours, balanced seasoning, and good portions. We didn't have any boozy beverages but there a few drinks to choose from on the drinks menu. Pricing: $$ not overpriced and worth it.

I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and a side of grits with Gouda. The food was delivered quickly. However, the grits were too salty for my taste. The avocado was generous as were the tomatoes, onions, and greens that topped it. Unfortunately, the toast was very tough and I had to saw it with a regular knife. I wondered if it was frozen and heated in a microwave. One of my companions thought the same about their toast. Pancake were generous in size and fluffy.

I loved this dinner so much. The citrus salmon was exactly what I was craving! However, it was a smaller portion and I wasn't exactly full by the end of it. The pretzel bread pudding was confusion at first but as soon as I tasted it, it was warm, milky and delicious. Pair it with the cappuccino and it was perfect. Service was so helpful and sweet! I was able to order dessert from the table instead of going back to the counter and our server was so sweet and added a voucher for us to come back again for beignets on the house. I definitely will! All those pies looked great too!

We absolutely love going to Dish Society--it's one of our favorite spots! Today was special because we brought our small dog along and enjoyed our meal out on the patio. The atmosphere was perfect, and it was so nice to be at a place that's pet-friendly. As always, the food was absolutely delicious--flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was also top-notch--our server was friendly and attentive. It's experiences like this that keep us coming back!

Brisket and Eggs - and my delicious freshly made orange juice
    Katia G.

We went to have breakfast at this location this past Sunday. Very busy place! I ordered the avocado toast and half portion of the granola bowl. My son ordered brisket and eggs, and my husband ordered the house breakfast tacos. We all shared a portion of the beignets. They both drunk coffee and I ordered regular orange juice. The good points: My avocado toast was really good. The lemon zested honey mascarpone definitely gave it a whole new flavor. The orange juice was freshly made and it was delicious! The beignets were amazing! Crunch, warm, and sweet! The sweet coffee anglaise was delicious! A treat! Now a not so good point: my granola bowl had so much nuts and seeds that I could barely taste the yogurt! I will post the picture. Maybe it was a mistake because as I walked to the bathroom I saw other customers eating their granola bowls and they didn't have nearly half the amount of seeds and nuts my had. But my bowl was nearly full and I ended up eating just the fruits on top. Neutral point: My son said that the grits under his brisket were too heavy. They tasted good but it was heavy. It is smoked Gouda grits so it will be a bit heavy. Just be aware when you order it! Other than that, we enjoyed our breakfast. Ambiance? Casual! It was a Sunday morning so it was busy.

I loved this place! Convenient parking, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, and good food. The service was kind and quick even though I went with a small group. Price is reasonable and the menu has a lot of options. Your order yourself at the counter and they bring the food to your table I think my only qualm is that the food portions weren't that big. Brunch places usually have fairly large portions but here, the amount was about what I'd eat at home(5'2 female). I got the Nutella French toast since it seemed to be popular and it only came with two pieces. Many other places usually provide around four. Overall my experience was good, but nothing notable. The food was good but there wasn't anything that stuck out to me.

Farm to table grilled chicken with chicken tortilla soup and brussel sprouts

It's our first time at Dish Society and usually one doesn't know what to make of chain restaurants. There was a really long line at 6 pm but Gwen the cashier was so gracious. The waitstaff were all fantastic and we appreciate their service on a busy Tuesday night. The food was surprisingly fresh and very good! We had the farm to table entree and the citrus salmon, the pecan dessert and a prickly pear drink.

I want to start by saying this place is amazing! I went here after brunch for the second evening shift but as you see in the photos it's only me but normally breakfast/brunch is ALWAYS packed out and busy due to the great food they serve so anywho this particular day I had the GRILLED CHICKEN PESTO SANDWICH ON A PRETZEL BUN so delicious, fresh and flavorful along with the freshly cooked chips....I truly enjoyed this combo as I sat peacefully and enjoyed the ambiance....very nice service......I will return soon and I hope you all will stop by if you're in town or on that side of town and looking for a great brunch spot you don't have to question. 5 stars Thanks guys see you again soon!!

Tomato Bisque and Grilled Pesto Chicken Sandwich
    Wendy H.

Stopped in on a weekday a little after lunch time. It wasn't busy so we ordered our food and found a table easily. The servers were nice and our food came out pretty quickly. My mom ordered a bowl of their tomato bisque and their chicken pesto sandwich. The soup wasn't our favorite, it was leaning on the sweet side. The sandwich however was decent, the pesto had a good flavor but there was barely any pesto on the sandwich. My sister had their pesto pasta, it was good as well but it had so much sauce that it was almost soupy. I ordered the bbq brisket sandwich and it was fantastic! The brisket was cooked nicely it was tender and the sauce was tangy. The slaw added the perfect crunch. If I were rating just based on my dish I'd give a higher rating, but because everyone else's dishes were just okay I don't think I can give a higher rating.

For my visit, it was crowded but not to where you couldn't hear your table. Dress is casual, good for friends, solo, or pit stop. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Since it was our first visit there, she gave us some background that it was a Pappa's owned restaurant and food is made from scratch. Food: 3/5 They offer mimosas and I was tempted to order, but was driving and it was 9AM so forewent that option. There are food options for every tastebud. Mark ordered the fried cheese sticks, they were one of the items that I found worthwhile to return for. I opted for the Waffle feast. It included a waffle, that I added pecans on top to, two strips of bacon, eggs your way and hash browns. To say that I needed to add salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns because they tasted bland and flavorless was unfortunate. It also was served at room temperature, because it was made from scratch, would think it be warmer to hot. The waffle was savory and had good mix and topped with the pecans made it even better. If you're on this side of town and want a change up from the "other breakfast diners" DOT would be where I stop. Fast, friendly service. What I eventually found both surprised and delighted me, and Nate's gets a thumbs up overall. Pictures are deceiving as I thought the place would be larger but it's a tight fit for bigger groups. There are only a handful of tables but plenty of character. It's also a bit grimey, unsightly and even a tinge dodgey, which may be a deal breaker for others but is an immediate appeal to me. Two things immediately standout when it comes to the food: the portions and the prices are outstanding. The offerings are as no frills as the rest of the establishment. The other surprise was how much influence there was from Mexican cuisine. Hash browns were the goal, but chorizo and chilaquiles were the bonus. Another surprise? The hash browns weren't as crispy as I would have wanted. It's entirely plausible that I came on an off day, which happens. However everything else was on point as my chorizo skillet was absolutely dynamite, pancakes were fluffy and indulgent, breakfast tacos were outstanding, and my eggs were perfectly softly scrambled. Even the bacon and sausage patties were delicious, which is a tall order considering it's not likely made in house. Lastly, as someone who drinks cold water like it's a hobby (#1), I'm especially grateful for the massive 32 oz cup of water, which is perfect for someone who drinks like a camel. The staff is not the quickest but they are friendly. Spanish may go further with most and they're not the quickest when it comes to greeting folks or cleaning tables. The food is the star and consider paying in cash. ____________ (#1) I'm thirsty.

The food itself was delicious! We got the onion rings appetizer, and you could tell they were made to order. They were super fresh and also crispy. The chicken parmigiana was good, and they were not stingy with their portions at all. The picture I took doesn't do the dish justice. I will definitely go back to this place, as their food, service and overall experience is a great one when you dine in.

OK, so this turned out to be a surprisingly good meal and much better than we had expected. We…read moredrove into the mostly defunct strip mall, found the restaurant down on the corner, walked in and sat down and then perused the menu in depth. We shared a bowl of the potato soup where we had no expectations and I thought it tasted pretty decent. But the real test was the entrees. Mr. Picky ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp while I opted for Veal Parmigiana, and we each stole a bite from the other's plate. We reached consensus immediately that both dishes were well-seasoned and quite delicious, meaning we would return for more good food in the future. Seriously, we hadn't expected much when walking in and looking around, but were pleasantly surprised at the kitchen's efforts. We finished lunch with an order of homemade bread pudding and tiramisu, the latter of which in 2012 won a chamber of commerce epicurean competition 1st place ribbon. I wasn't there to judge that competition and have had better, but sincerely appreciated the moistness of the bread pudding. While the majority of diners were older and a more mature crowd, there's a lot to be said for value, and we thought the menu price was better than reasonable and I think a lot of people will discover this as a value destination, something we all appreciate.
