Dear Disneyland Guest Relations, I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding the treatment my family--and most importantly, my autistic grandson--received during our visit to your parks on March 18. This day was meant to be a joyful and unforgettable milestone: my grandson's very first visit to Disneyland. Our family invested a significant amount of money in park tickets and additionally purchased Lightning Lane passes specifically to help accommodate his autism, as he has significant difficulty waiting in long lines. What we did not anticipate were the extreme weather conditions, with temperatures reaching into the 90s. This made an already challenging situation even more difficult for my grandson, who was struggling to regulate in the heat and crowds. While waiting in line, a cast member observed our situation and kindly informed us that Disneyland offers services for guests with disabilities--something we were never made aware of prior to that moment. Hoping for support, we proceeded to Guest Services at California Adventure after finishing at Disneyland Park. Unfortunately, what followed was one of the most upsetting and degrading experiences I have ever encountered at any theme park. We were assisted by a cast member named Aubrey (from New Mexico), whose approach was shockingly lacking in compassion and professionalism. Instead of being treated with understanding, we were subjected to repeated, deeply personal, and intrusive questioning about my grandson's condition. I clearly explained that we had official documentation from Social Security verifying his autism diagnosis, yet this was dismissed, and the questioning continued. We were asked to explain how we "handle" him, details about his schooling, and other personal matters that felt entirely inappropriate and unnecessary. The tone and manner in which these questions were asked made us feel judged rather than supported. Most concerning of all was the impact on my grandson. He became visibly uncomfortable, withdrawn, and ashamed emotions no child should ever experience, especially in a place that is supposed to be welcoming, inclusive, and magical. As his grandmother, it was heartbreaking to watch him feel singled out and embarrassed simply for being who he is. This interaction completely overshadowed what should have been a beautiful memory for our family. I was so upset that I wanted to leave the park entirely. However, my grandson was in tears because he had been looking forward to riding the Cars attraction. At that point, my sister-in-law had to step in and advocate on our behalf because I was too distressed to continue the interaction. The only accommodation ultimately offered to us was a one-time pass for the Cars ride--despite the two-hour wait and everything we had just experienced. This felt dismissive and wholly inadequate given the circumstances. I cannot emphasize enough how unacceptable this experience was. We have visited other theme parks such as Legoland and SeaWorld, where individuals with disabilities are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion--without being subjected to what feels like an interrogation process. Disneyland promotes itself as a place for all families, yet our experience reflected the opposite. No family should have to justify a child's disability in such a personal and humiliating manner just to receive basic accommodations. Considering the significant financial investment required to visit your parks, this experience was not only disappointing--it was deeply upsetting and, frankly, inexcusable. I am requesting that this incident be formally reviewed, that appropriate action be taken regarding the conduct we experienced, and that additional training be provided to cast members on how to respectfully and compassionately assist guests with disabilities and their families. I would also appreciate a response outlining how Disneyland intends to address this matter, as well as consideration of appropriate compensation for the distress and negative impact this had on our family's experience. As soon as I start seeing the signs of familiar streets and Disney Parks, parking, etc I start to feel happinesses emerging up into a smile. Always banners, beautiful window displays, shops, little snack kiosks and seeing so many different matching hats, t shirts, Mickey ears and balloons. If you come before the holidays the entire area is decorated and the happiest place on earth takes on a new magic all its own. Some families even come in matching pajamas but once it warms up they'll probably need new attire. The Disneyland Resort Area in Anaheim is so much fun! This area not only includes the theme parks which is Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, but also Downtown Disney, the on site hotels, and many of the Good Neighbor and independent hotels in walking or shuttle distance to the park. The Disneyland Resort area stretches from around Harbor boulevard to Walnut Street and from Ball Road down to Katella Avenue. This also includes the Disneyland Drive and Magic Way. The On site hotels include the three offerings from Disney which is the Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian, and the Pixar Place Hotel. The Pixar Place hotel was recently refurbished too! If you stay on site you do get hotel perks like early entry, though, I believe Disney may be changing that to just the lightning lane access. The Disneyland hotel offers amenities, themed pools with waterslides, in room and on site dining options, and it's a great location to walk down from downtown Disney to the theme parks. You can also take the monorail as well into Tomorrowland. Other off site hotels but are nearby in the Good Neighbor hotels include some of the following Sonesta Anaheim Resort Area Cambria Hotel & Suites Anaheim Resort The Westin Anaheim Resort JW Marriott Anaheim When I visit, I typically stay in Hilton hotels like the Hilton Anaheim, the Embassy Suite, or the Fera (Doubletree). These hotels offer comfort, value, and are relatively close to the theme parks. Dining, shopping, and entertainment options in the Disneyland Resort Area is amazing. The downtown Disney district offers restaurants, retail, entertainment, and recently a new food hall called the Parkside Market which is great for quicker, more casual meals without having to enter the parks. If you have an Magic Key pass, make sure to check for available discounts! In the theme parks, you have so many different dining options too! You can go to the Carnation Café on Main street which offers classic American dining, or you could go to the Blue Bayou for a themed Cajun style dining atmosphere inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride building. Recently, Tiana's Palace opened up in New Orleans Square for a immersive and themed quick service Creole and Cajun experience! California Adventure has the Carthay Circle Restaurant which is one of my favorite restaurants in both theme parks. There are lots of shows like Fantasmic, Paint the Night, World of Color One, and much more! The theme park rides are great fun, like Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, just to name a few! I also come often for the RunDisney races. I was recently in the area for the Halloween Half Marathon, but I'll be back towards the end of January in 2026 during the Lunar New Year Celebration and the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend. The Disneyland Resort area in Anaheim really feels like its own little world. Between the two parks, Downtown Disney, and all the nearby dining and hotel options, there's always something to do no matter your mood. I like that you can be fully immersed in Disney magic or just pop in for a meal or some wandering without committing to a park day. Everything is walkable and lively, which makes the whole area feel energetic but still easy to navigate. Who doesn't love Disneyland?! Well, I've actually met some people but I am not one of them. I friggin' love The House of Mouse which is why it is mind boggling that when we visited in March 2024, I hadn't been in over 20 years! I spent my childhood into adulthood at Disneyland for multiple school and extracurricular group trips and it just never got old. Even after all of that time it still felt so familiar but also fresh and new with all of the changes since my last trip up. We walked about, rode some rides, ate some yummy food and snacks, had delicious cocktails (which that was different and kind of odd to do) in the Cantina, posed for a plethora of photos, sat and people watched, and had a truly relaxing day. I'm excited to go back this year to visit the updated Haunted House and Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Always a pleasure, Disneyland! read more

Took my kids here for my birthday and I can't say it disappointed. The only bad thing I would say is that I paid for the lightning pass for each of our tickets extra a day. It was well worth it. I did wait more than 15-20 mins if that. You have to reserve times but I'm ok with it. Overall it was one of the best birthdays I've ever had, especially being with my family. We went on every single ride, and multiple times. If you come to Disneyland, understand that you're going to spend money for a great time. The memories are worth it. read more

Today at Downtown Disney California, we waited over 20 minutes for just three hot dogs. When we asked about the delay, the response was that they were training new staff. As someone who has studied the Disney world deeply and understands the meaning of Imagineering, I believe we experienced poor service that has no connection to the Disney we love. read more

I was impressed overall at how big this felt as I was going to be comparing this to Disney World in my mind already. I always forget that the complex is much more than the park. You have to add in the hotel area and the shopping/entertainment area as well. When you do that you get an overall experience that truly encompasses a vacation. I had never thought of that until recently, your vacation is more than just the one thing you have written in stone that you are going to do. I didn't explore much of the hotel complex other than spying it while walking by. I was all over the two parks, and the entertainment area. I can see why people go all out for this place. There is tons of things to do and it is crazy the amount of people you will see just going back and forth. If you are done with the parks for the day, definitely check out the entertainment area. There are tons of things to do that you don't have to be out in the heat for. read more

Yelp is ridiculous and way too quick on the trigger with the combining of reviews sometimes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Happy new year! It may have once been the happiest place on Earth, Soviet diplomats may have cut short or rearranged or completely rescheduled official missions in the '50s just to visit, and it may still hold tons and tons and tonnes and maybe even a few extra short tons (not to mention metric tons) of emotional resonance, if not pure delight, deep in my psyche, but Disneyland isn't what it once was. Or maybe it's just that our society isn't what it once was, and Disneyland is a convenient and very obvious way to epitomize this not-so-subtle shift. I'll let you decide. But many people can't decide because it's so ridiculously expensive. Yes, much of it is done well. But even in my blissful attachment to very specific memories, I can't ignore how exclusive it is in many ways. It's always been exclusive, so don't think I'm giving the old Disneyland a pass, but I would like to believe that we're beyond tokenism, but sadly, we're not. The princesses can come in as many hues as the CGI palette will allow; but they're still force-feeding very specific ideas of beauty, accomplishment, and self-worth to our daughters. You may think they're born with a receptiveness to those ideas or that you're not doing any damage by giving them what they want, but you're wrong. Kids can be whatever you want them to be. They'll never do what you want, and personality outweighs a lot of parenting, but make no mistake about it: You're shaping their entire lives from the ages of two to five. Beyond that, it's all window dressing--or child dressing, or cross-dressing. You get the idea. I don't mean to guilt-trip you, but don't you think those girls in poor countries around the world--you know, the ones who, when their locked factories aren't collapsing on them, make all the cheap clothes and crap you buy at Disneyland--don't they deserve to be princesses too? read more

Disneyland holds such a special place in my heart. From the photo ops to the character meet and greets, there is always a way to find magic throughout the park. Plus there is amazing food at every turn. My personal suggestion is the chicken lime bao at tropical hideaway. I also absolutely love the shopping in the parks. I find so many unique and special to me items. THE DISNEYLAND YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW IS DEAD AND GONE !Park capacity is 136,000 people between Disneyland and California adventure. You have to buy your ticket and reserve the day you go through the Disney app & the only way you can navigate the park is through your phone on the Disney app plus pay the extra charge for an auxiliary battery when your phone dies halfway through the day to make it worse. The only way you can get on the two rides that you want , the car's ride and Star Wars ride is to buy an extra fast pass lane additionally to your cost of already $500 for two people being there for the day , this is not what Walt Disney had in mind when he made Disneyland, this is corporate greed at its highest, on the other hand if your idea of fun is watching 136,000 people cutting each other off slamming into each other trying to use apps trying to get on rides between hours of 8 AM and 12:30 AM. This is the place for you. So you pay a few thousand dollars to line up for everything including bathrooms and food. Fine. You then have to watch out for random closures before the park closes at midnight. Note: not all food is available when you need it. After a certain hour all they'll have is pastries except for about two menu items you need to search within the park. Should you time everything right to order the food you wanted, check they have your order right: some employees are so careless about their job they'll see your family members and not order the quantities items you requested. Good luck if they're closing the kitchen at a certain time (8pm). They won't bother adding the items they messed up. Your family will be left hungry so keep a filling backup outside the park. read more

Mickey and Friends Parking off Ball Road...$30 per day, per vehicle. Get there first thing in the morning and if you have DP/DV plates... you'll be on the bottom level and super close to the tram. (Garage opens 1hr prior to first park opening time.) Parking is quick. They have this ish on lock, lemme tell ya! From Mickey and Friends, security is now BEFORE getting on the Tram. Have your bags prepared--unzip everything that can unzip. Including smaller bags within your main bag. The lines into the park, where to start. Everyone goes with the flow and into the first line they see. Don't fall for that malarkey. Push through that line and towards the center of the park--there are more lines that are far shorter. (You're welcome) They don't take pictures in the morning, so if you go back in in the afternoon or evening, that's when they'll snap your photo for your ticket. ALWAYS HAVE YOUR TICKET READY TO GO. Easiest way is with your Disneyland app. (Note: Disneyland has its own app--so download the correct one in advance and add your tickets.) Fast Pass is no longer a thing. It's called a Lightning Pass and is pay-per-ride mostly. About $7-20 per. We didn't use this, and honestly the longest line we waited in was 40min. (The key? GET THERE AT OPENING AND USE YOUR APP FOR WAIT TIMES, plan out rides near one another--seriously, you don't need Genie+, just a brain.) Day 1: Disneyland from 0800-1400. We managed Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Tiki Room, Indiana Jones, Jungle Cruise, Mark Twain River Boat, and Splash Mountain from 0800-1200. We killed time for an hour before our lunch at River Belle and then bounced for the day when it got "too hot". Lol Day 2: California Adventure from 0800-1000. We hit Soarin', Screamin' (ehhh Incredicoaster now), and Ariel's Underwater whatever. I am personally not a fan of this park, never have been. It's more for the little kids IMO. We could've bounced back over to Disneyland at 1300, but decided to leave for the day. Day 3: Disneyland 0800-1100 and 1600-2200. We hit Peter Pan first, then Pinocchio, Matterhorn, Small World, and Buzz in the morning. In the afternoon we hit Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Storybook, Disneyland Train, Smuggler's Run (single rider), and Moments with President Lincoln... I feel like I'm missing something. Meh, you get the point. The electric parade was packed, and avoiding it to hit rides was the best choice! Fireworks were cancelled due to wind. But, best place to watch is downtown Disney IMO. Be smart with the water rides--either bring an extra set of clothes/shoes, wear a poncho, or ride as your last before heading out. I've never gotten drenched on that ride til this time, and eeeek! I WAS DRENCHED. Mobile order your food ahead of time--as in, an hour ahead of time. So when you're in a line and can see people loading, that's about the right time to order. Lol Opinions on food: *The churros in the park are far better than the ones in downtown *River Belle is overrated microwaveable food, PASS *Little Red Wagon corn dogs are EPIC *Tiki Room Dole Whip is a *MUST* *Turkey legs are overrated and bland (so if you LOVE meat, you won't be impressed) *The ice cream shop is always packed--go to Salt and Straw in downtown instead read more

Although we are an avid Disney family, the continued price hikes are getting ridiculous. This place is no longer a place for the people but rather a corporate conglomerate that's hell bent on making a profit and doesn't have "family" in mind. Disneyland will always be a fun adventure, BUT we were disappointed in the Lightening pass and Disney APP process. We paid extra money for the Lightening passes only to wait 5 hours until we could ride Pirates and 11 hours to get into the Haunted Mansion ( we were already home by the time our number was called). We were able to get on the other rides faster than using the Lightening passes- as well, having to keep checking our phones was a pain! I don't want to be on my phone at Disneyland (as well, my battery died and I was told I could go buy a battery pack). Later that evening, we also walked into a restaurant to eat and we were told to check in on "the app" (um we're standing at the hostess stand; then the hostess tells us the apps not working well (ANNNNND??? does that mean we can't come in? they sent us away)- we ended up leaving early and having dinner outside the park- not the fun, easy adventure it used to be- finally, lots of rides were closed- I thought they were still taking reservations, but it was extremely crowded for a Thursday afternoon- this as definitely gone from a family park to a corporate take-over- This used to be my parents favorite place, but they are now old and requiring so much technology to eat, ride, etc. can be very discouraging. read more

Not what it used to be, it was extremely crowded for a normal weekday and the lines are crazy. Yes, we had the Genie+, you can't use it on all rides, you have many restrictions on how and when to use, it is pretty annoying to be scheduling and running from place to place that way, and it takes away the fun of it all. I have gone to Disneyland since I was little and this is one of my favorite places in the world, just to walk around is so fun, or should I say, was fun. You can't even walk anymore there, I am not exaggerating, it is extremely crowded and it is almost impossible to have fun. The rides where we had to make a line were huge and its annoying to see adults smooching in front of you, Disney is becoming un kid friendly, our experience was couples just all over one another. The rides are mostly all the same, no major changes, just some rides closed for renovation or whatnot, but it is the same Disneyland, which is nice. The downer is the big crowds and the employees that look so miserable, they often complain in front of us and it was just uncomfortable as we are trying to have family fun and paid a lot to do it. Food is not great, overpriced and the only restaurants that might be good priced and good are fully booked, at this point just take your own sandwiches and drinks. Just know that it is expensive, everything has a line to be made, even statues in Main Street, and you have to make a line to take pictures almost anywhere, which was shockingly funny to me. But yes, everything in Disneyland has a price tag and a line, time goes really fast in there, just waiting and waiting... and waiting! By the way the Disney app sucks and we had to wait in a line for employees to schedule our events because their app was just having problems, a lot of people were having a hard time scheduling their rides, Genie+ sucks and the entire process does too, it was horrible and a lot of waste of time. read more

The menu is super simple with basic Mexican food options. It included options such as Tortas, Burritos, and Tacos. I ordered 2 Carne Asada tacos with all the toppings. My friend ordered 1 Carne Asada Burrito. There is a topping section on the side inside the restaurant with 2 salsa verde and 2 red salsa. There are also pickled jalapeños and carrots, onions and cilantro. The restaurant is more like a hang out spot and a take out place. Keep in mind, they call out the numbers in Spanish and there is a fee on both credit card and debit card. The parking is limited but the food is so worth it. The food is delicious and I will be taking many people to this place on a late night. read more

I am a major Lover of Disneyland, both parks! But this time I was truly disappointed. We got a great handicap parking space right at the elevator of the parking garage. My husband cannot walk far, but we enjoy walking around our neighborhood. So I thought, no need for a wheelchair. WRONG!!!!! I did a lot of research before we went, ya know COVID and all, but Nowhere Did It Say That The Park Gates were 2 MILES from parking!!!!! I was Pissed! Also, I Never Read Anywhere the You Could Get a SPECIAL PASS if you have TROUBLE STANDING IN LINE!!!!!! So much for the 25% capacity! The line for Pirates Of The Caribbean was down to the Haunted House!!!!! I could go on but what's the purpose! I love Disneyland, it brings back great childhood memories!!! I have a Magic Key pass so I make several trips throughout the year. ***Remember that Advance reservations are REQUIRED*** All the cast members that I have interacted with are very friendly and helpful. My favorite cast member is Millie (from Guatemala City) at the pin store on Main Street. I shop for pins as gifts, and she is extremely knowledgeable about what is popular and new, plus she is super friendly and fun to trade pins with. The lines/rides - I find that if you get to the park before the park opens, it has the longest security and entrance lines. However, being first comes with the perk of shorter ride lines. I actually like to get there about a half-hour after opening, with short security lines, and short entrance lines. The ride lines will vary from 5 minutes to hours. I use Disney crowd calendars to choose the days when it is less busy, but it is NEVER going to be no lines!!! Yes, they charge for a Lightening Lane pass, but it is a minimal cost of $25 per person to reduce your wait times in line. I highly recommend you go on Rise of the Resistance, they did a fantastic job of creating this ride/experience. It is one of my favorites, but the standby lines are typically 1 hour or more, you can purchase a separate premium LL pass, but it is one-time use and expensive, but probably worth it if you are not a patient person. ProTip: You don't always need to wait for your next ride time to book a LL pass, check the tip board and it will give you the time you can book your next LL pass, even though you haven't ridden the one that is scheduled in the future. Also, Disneyland has just come out with Magicband +, if you're going to splurge on LL, I highly recommend one, you just tap the Magicband to the reader and it can check in your whole party. You can use it on every trip, so it isn't a one-time thing. Character Experience - This is one area that could use some serious improvements. Character experience lines can be very long. They should either add them to LL or use a virtual queue. It is hard for kids to stand in line for over an hour while they can see their favorite characters from the line. Also, they don't have many character experiences. Many times I visit I never see Mickey around anyone. The characters that walk around, usually will only take a few photos with people and then move on, so it might be disappointing as the staff shuffles them away. Food - Most of the places I have dined at have had really good food, especially for an amusement park. My favorite places to eat are Blue Bayou and Carnation Cafe. If you have food allergies, almost every dining establishment will have allergy-friendly menus, you just need to ask for them. ProTip: Disneyland dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. Most get taken on that day, however, there are premium third-party apps that will send you notifications when a dining reservation opens up for your trip. I have had a lot of success getting a table this way. Also, you can check the day of standby lines, but I rarely have any luck with that. Also, if you are ordering from a quick-service restaurant, you can significantly reduce your wait time by ordering in advance on the mobile Disneyland app. The shows - I don't go to many shows, but I really do love Fantasmic and highly recommend you do a dining package to get reserved seating. Also, the World of Color has a premium dessert package with premium seating at a table during the show. The dessert selection was phenomenal. Most people don't finish it and they come around with to-go boxes. It is very expensive, but I think it was worth it. They also have the Tomorrow Skyline package where they give you a quick service dinner (nothing special) and premium seating for the fireworks. If you don't like crowds, the premium seating of $60 per person, may be worth it. Disneyland and California Adventure are not cheap. Pricing fluctuates based on the days and crowds. They have tiered pricing. Even though their online chat/customer service times have long waits, once you get a hold of someone they are happy to answer your long list of questions. I try to fire a complaint in this land regarding a cast member. They did not want to do anything about that. They kept directing me to something else I went with the customer service representative. They couldn't believe this individual I was in lying and they swear Disneyland swears that it's handicap friendly, but I was in the parents of the Caribbean and then they tell me there's no way they could go in with a wheelchair Basically what I was saying I lost my place in line and they want me to go back in line and when I was in front of the line, they'll call my family to go. I had to wait again for my family go through the back side of the Wright and they could put them in once I was all the way to the on the line, it did not make sense when I was trying to talk to Stacy the lead for the Pirates of the Caribbean and she just noted her hair. I kept asking a question just not your head. I told her she understand English she's not her head. I told her you speak Spanish. She's not her head. I tell her some other stuff she just kept not in your head. I told her that's the only thing you do she say yes I just not my head. It was so ridiculous. It makes you feel like they're avoiding you even though you spend so much money in the theme park I would not go back and spend any money on this park again if I could give a zero star and people could see the real side of Disneyland, then they will notice that they don't care about the people going in or the family to spend the money they just care about making money. read more

Been 3 years since my last visit. Now I remember why I haven't returned in awhile, the crowds. BUT, I know in January and February are the best times to come since the crowds are so much thinner. Came tonight (02/09/18) to meet with Yelp friends. One of our guests never road the Disneyland Railroad, so the very first ride was a ride-around-the-park showing her the different stops: New Orleans Square, It's A Small World, Tomorrowland, and Main Street Station. NO CLOSURES or should I say those with NO construction/remodel were ALL OPEN and OPERATING. This was a great day and weekend to visit, especially if you are staying at one of the resort hotels. We had corn dogs, lobster sandwich, and a great time watching Fantasmic. I'm a fan and will return, but not enough to justify being an APH (Annual Passholder). Still a 5-Star experience with staff/cast members, rides, and shows. Too bad no fireworks tonight. read more

So much fun! Just plan on spending more than you thought and waiting in lines we have two little kids so we make up line games and it's a lot of fun. If you have a toddler I highly recommend renting a stroller because once they burnout with the walking and waiting in lines it is such a headache. read more

Disneyland is a work of love. We didn't go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money. - Walt Disney. What a big difference from the creativity and heart of Walt and Roy Disney has from the current executives and board members that run the company today. Disney was such a magical, family friendly and excellent customer service theme park but now it's nickel and diming, money grabbing, packed like cattle, dirty, cheap, trashy, mean and rude place to visit. Their movies are cheap endless remakes, squeals, boring and uncreative. It's not even family friendly anymore because most average families can't afford the exuberant cost of the parks nowadays. Families can visit Hawaii, Bahamas, Japan, Europe, Australia or go on an non-Disney cruise like Royal Caribbean for more affordable, longer vacations and better experiences than a few days in the parks. What's sad is all those that grew up with Disney and their parks will have to move on elsewhere because there's just no value in what they bring at their current state. Disneyland was such a great place to visit, I have many magical, fun and exceptional cast member experiences from my visits there. Their fireworks were top notch, the parades and waves from the characters and performers were amazing, the shows like Fantasmic was one the best I've ever seen and the magic touches from Cast Members in Photopass, Guest Relations and all around the parks made the visits the most memorable. They led in innovation, creativity, storytelling, imagineering and customer service. But the current Disney has stripped experiences to the bare minimum or none at all, with the substantial increases in prices across the board while offering a product no better than any regional amusement park or carnival fair. While crowding up the parks shoulder to shoulder with people even though requiring reservations which doesn't do anyone any good except for the company themselves. Paying per person, per ride for Lighting Lane and paying for Genie+. That's nuts for something that was free right before the pandemic lockdowns. All of these changes were planned for years, the executives are just using the pandemic as an excuse to make all these greedy changes. I can no longer support a company that treats its Cast Members and Customers like stool and thinks we're all stupid to their avarice and arrogance. They're the idiots who will lose the goodwill, trust and respect of their customers and their families for good. Here are the next Dark Ages and Downfall of Disney. They already had a couple Dark Ages in the recent past but none as so greedy and arrogant as the current executives and board members. Their Dark Ages are usually Dark Decades. Where they increase prices on everything, make everything on the cheap and nickel and diming their customers as much as they can for little to nothing in experiences, innovation and customer service. Vote with your wallets! Don't visit their parks, cancel their streaming services (D+, ESPN+ and Hulu), don't buy their merchandise, don't go on Disney cruises and Don't eat any of their food. Speak in the language the board members understand, which is money. Don't give Disney anymore money until they improve all across the board. Which knowing Disney's track record will take a decade or longer to happen, if it happens. At this rate the company will be bankrupt by end of the decade or sooner and go in the way of Activision Blizzard and Enron. Leave this slowly sinking ship and trainwreck that is Disney. Disney is more in debt than they want to admit from Bob Iger's multi-billion dollars buying spending spree (using multi-billion dollars loans) during his tenure as CEO and pandemic lockdowns (getting more mutli-billion dollars loans and credit) affecting all their sectors. They're more in the RED than they want to admit. They're barely making profit now, it will take them 5 to 10 years minimum maybe to even recover what they lost when their parks, cruises and entertainment were all shut down. Have fun seeing Disney's stock drop off in the next few quarters. Their shady business strategies of "massaging" their profits will come back to haunt them soon enough. read more

We had an amazing time at Disneyland. Watching the smiles on our little ones faces was what it was all about. We arrived when they opened and left right before closing as they played the video on the castle. No parades or fireworks during the week? It was a Thursday. Disneyland is consistant and enforces masks in indoor areas with kindness of course. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the park near rides. I was thinking this would be out last time here, but we might be back in a few years. Wish we would have planned our theme park adventures 2 days each. I am just a big kid at heart. We managed to conquer every ride the girls could go on and and many multiple times. Install the app before hand. The new StarWars ride: Rise of the Resistance you are only allowed to go on once per visit and you can only get on by queuing up in the app. Sign on and go to que 4 minutes before 7am or right before 12 noon. I posted instructions in my StarWars area review. The app is also useful for counting down the days till your arrival, ordering food. Viewing all menus. Pay attention as they also show California Adventure eats too. You can filter through what you want to see. So handy. It has an active GPS and you can see where you are on the map and where you want to go. It also shows you the ride times. Even at home! That is how I planned what time of year and days of the week to go. My plan worked too. The longest we sat in line was at The Haunted Mansion. When the park 1st opened it was down. They had just changed it to the Halloween Theme so it was a hot spot. We went later. 20 minute wait per app but once we got to the line it said 30. We actually only waited 11 minutes! The longest wait we had in the park. My favorite ride is still Indiana Jones. Our girls loved the Carousel, Train, It's a Small World and The Go Go Gadget Coaster. Something big is coming to Town Town! People in white are away cleaning up and are on it! I wish Disneyland gave a little more attention in the bathrooms like the grounds. It is a busy park. We saw Princess Jasmine (South of It'sa Small World), Minnie, Mickey, and the Chipmunks (In Toon Town). Chewbacca was They stand behind fences. You can have the kids turn around and still get everyone in the photo. Allergen friendly food is available, but it is very limited. Menus or info are available in person only. Not available to order on the app. It takes a long time to make so do not wait until the last minute when you are hangry. They have new Halloween cups for just over $13.00. We went to a vendor and requested the $13 cup. She gave us a choice and the one I picked ended up being $26. It was not on thr posted menu. It wasn't only plastic, but was a hot/cool. No biggie just be warned. The cost for things I don't mind too much as it is going to a great place that really puts a lot into running this park daily. This was our little ones 1st time and our 7th. We never knew until booking a Hotel that there was a Downtown Disney opposite of Harbor Entrance past the themed park's entrances. Definalty check out for some good eats and shopping. I thought downtown was when you first walked in the park in town!?! We definately are glad we brought strollers for the girls. It is amazing how you can leave good in them in the stroller parking zones and no one touches your stuff. If you park in a place and they don't belong when you get off the ride you will find it has been moved to the proper location so don't worry! read more

Absolutely loved Disneyland but hate having to make dinner reservations on-line to eat in a restaurant. I missed out on my favorite mickey pancakes, beignets, and a Monte Cristo, and didn't bother with Genie+ because there are way too many confusing restrictions and again we have to be glued to our iPhones - I am supposed to be on vacation. The best part -- I rented a EV and all the rides I rode easily accommodated my scooter also ALL the staff members were so kind and helpful. Lots of Disney Christmas magic. read more

How have I not written a review for Disneyland yet? I'm a huge Disney fan, so I may be biased with this 5 star review... but seriously, I love Disneyland! Everything from the rides, to the decor, to the shows, to the snacks... the entire experience is nothing short of fun and pure joy. It brings me so much happiness every time I visit. I'm not local to SoCal, but I've been visiting Disneyland once every year since 2010. Much of the park has stayed the same, although they have spruced up some areas, rethemed rides, etc. I no longer feel the need to get on every ride, but instead, usually spend my time exploring areas that I've briskly walked by in the past. Every corner is filled with surprises and I've never been bored. For first timers, the park can get overwhelming, so I definitely recommend studying the map and planning your rides in advance, especially if you're spending only a day in the park. Otherwise, I'd recommend going in with an open mind and just soaking the experience. 2 to 3 days is probably the optimum time to explore the entire park, though you could do it in a day if you focus only on getting from ride to ride. They recently introduced the Max Pass which I love. Apart from being able to get fast passes through the mobile app, it also comes with photopass pictures which you can download. For $10/day/ticket, I definitely feel that it was well worth the price. The Disney magic is real, and I sure hope it continues to live on for the many more generations of young minds who will be walking through the gates :) PS. Let me start by saying, the overall park, rides and shows were GOOD. But the NEW StarWars ride (GREAT AND WAS VERY MUCH ENJOYED). U need to know HOW and WHAT 2 do 2 get it.The time needed to get the boarding group SUCKED!!!! We had to get up early, fight to get in and then HOPE & PRAY we got it(like a slaving person being handed food). I understand THIS is something yall (DL)have to do, put something better NEEDS to be thought of!!!!!! Alot of stuff was breaking down and or delayed (but was up and running with some time). And on 2/6-2/7 2020 yall (DL) was having some Wifi and internet problems (again fixed with some time). Most of the food/drink(VERY EXPENSIVE) was good(When the cash register was working). But the Turkey leg I was longing for was a let down. We had to walk to 2 places across the park (1st place cash register was down over 60min) to get and swap it the 2nd place 3times(1st 2# were very dry). Water should not cost over $3 a bottle, but it is refills and SAME water fountains (ice would be nice at this point). I will NOT do this again... For the amount of money we DISHED OUT and time... From a parent stand point, I love that kids had a great time. But for regular folks, that have to save up for something like this!!!! I feel Yall(DL) has lose your way.
