please do not go to diva dogs at 42 new street, chelmsford, essex,cmq 1ph i came across this website and made a purchase of dog's clothings and accessories. my nightmare has just began..... this is the worst ever purchase i have made in the uk. the owner janet is not only rude to her staff but also to customers. while on the phone with her checking on some clothing stock, she actually said to her staff and i quote: '' if you give me the wrong sizes again, i am going to slap you''. upon hearing what she said i was disgusted with her the way she spoke especially when she is on the phone with a customer. later, i also found out that she is very dishonest and crafty as well. i returned some items as the quality was cheap and not as described by her. prices are way overpriced. i ensured that it was a recorded delivery and when i rang to check if the parcel reached diva dogs, the rude owner denied of receiving the parcel. janet promised to ring back but did not at all after one week later when the parcel reached them the following day after i sent it off. janet is a liar and have bad business ethics. i spoke to her staff and she was polite and even apologised to me as the parcel was indeed signed for by diva dogs. the owner is supposed to apologise and not her staff as it is her fault yet she expects her staff to say sorry on her behalf even when she knew i rang about the refund issue. i was later promised a full refund on all the items returned yet it was not the case. the owner deducted the delivery charge of £4.50 which my order was waived for as it states on their website that if the order exceeds £75, customers will be entitled to free delivery. this is cheating and misleading as it states on the website that customers have to pay for the postage to be sent back and i had no issue with that but what right have they to deduct the waived postage??...this owner only rips customers off and speaks rudely. there is no real policy as it seems like she makes the rules as she threatened me saying that this is the law in the uk and made very crude and rude remarks. as a customer, i am disgusted by this owner's actions. the money is secondary to me because what irks me is the fact she tries to pretend that firstly the parcel did not reach them which was untrue and secondly, when she realises she could not cheat as the recorded delivery could be traced online, then she had to refund but deduct the delivery charge which had nothing to do with my refunds. a person of this kind of character to be doing business has to be told to customers to be wary as i do not wish anyone else to be a victim like me. i believe all uk residents who do online purchases know that in the uk for any vendors who promised free delivery upon a certain amount spent and if there were any returns in the event, the customers will be refunded back what are returned and not charged for the waived delivery cost. janet shows clearly what a sad case and pathetic person she truly is and please beware of her especially!!!! to put it simply: diva dogs is a pet shop whose owner janet cheats and threatens customers!!! read more
