Until one day one my friend recommend me this driving school I called and asked about the price and it was a very friendly price then I came in and learned for 2-3days and went straight to road test and passed with only losing 4points total away from perfect score. We started in November with the consultation/eye exam and our last session was in May. Michelle, the finance person, stated that she would work with us and get the letters for insurance and told us that UHC generally pays. We sent the letter to the insurance company and did not hear anything. We paid $600 a month for 6 months. We finally called the insurance company and found out it was denied. They said that Michelle would need to use a different medical code for them to pay. I called her and told her what they said and she said that was the only code she has, sorry. I was out of 3600 bucks and I was unemployed because I had a new baby. My warning to parents before you sign the contract with Visual Health, get the medical codes and go call your insurance company to ensure they pay before you SIGN ANYTHING. Unfortunately, the office does not work with your insurance company directly. Also, the $600 bucks a month covered 1 hour session per week and the parent has to go home and remember the exercises (3 or more) to do daily.

You can have hour-and-a-half (that's the minimum time you can have) classes or longer. It is not cheap (I pay about $30/hour) however the class is geared to my learning style, speed of learning, and what I want to learn (work-related terminology and sentences that I can use right away). The best part about taking these classes is that Aaron teaches me familiar/less formal (in addition to formal) words and phrases, and we can digress on interesting topics that come up. What stood out to me immediately was how caring and helpful the student patrols were. Since my daughter was homeschooled for kindergarten, this was her first experience in a school setting. She didn't know her way around, but the student patrols guided her with kindness--especially during morning drop-offs and to breakfast, making her transition so much easier. The school also does an amazing job of involving parents in activities throughout the year. It really makes us feel like part of a bigger family and gives us the opportunity to be present in our children's educational experience. The resource officer is another shining example of the school's warm and caring atmosphere always kind and approachable. My daughter was lucky to have Mrs. Velasquez as her teacher, and she misses her dearly. Mrs. Velasquez has such a bright and positive attitude, and it truly shines through in the way she motivates her students. She used a fun reward system with lion bucks, which students could later use for prizes from the treasure box a great way to encourage good behavior and effort.
