Aaron is rudely responsive and acts if everything gets on his nerves, once you do get a response from him. he's totally defensive ab anything and everything. They don't consider customers at all. For it to be a business they act if they are doing you a favor and not getting paid for the services. The only decent person there is Corey, he acknowledges people. Had work done with the light skin girl and the line work was shotty and needed to repeatedly go back plus one tattoo ink didn't last a month so I had to go back for that as well. Very rude and obnoxious behavior. Very disrespectful towards my mother with stage 4 cancer. We came in and wanted a tattoo and piercing. Once we entered, she immediately had this very uncomfortable look on her face. We greeted her before she greeted us. I believe she said her name was a "Dena". I told her that my mother is in hospice and wanted her nose pierced so she could fulfill a lifelong dream. She told me that there's no way her wheelchair could maneuver around, which I understood given it is a very small shop. I seen that it was one floor and bare any steps. My mother and I understood and my mother explained to her that she could walk, but short distance. "Dena" looked so disgusted at my mother and denied service. We cried because life has been rough lately and we couldn't believe a 5 start shop would treat a 69 yr old woman with terminal cancer in that manner. I am personally disappointed and hurt that as black women, we should love and respect each other. As we walked out the door, I heard her mumbling, but I didn't care to even know what she said. My mother passed December 2, 2024 and I pierced her nose myself with a kit I bought from Amazon. I pray that she would never treat other person like how she treated my mother. I kept these emotions in for a while and didn't want to tarnish her name. I just believe justice should be served. read more

aight - just keeping it real on my experience. Yeah, no. I can't remark on the work they do here, simply because I didn't get the opportunity. Let me explain.. I contacted Dena, the owner of Divine Lines, through Instagram to schedule an appointment. My wife and I were going to get matching memorial tattoos together and heard from our kids that she did good work. I got confirmation from Dena for an appointment, and we showed up on time as agreed. When walking in, we got semi greeted by someone who was at the desk at the time, and instructed to fill out a piece of paper with our info. Once filled out we sat down, leaving the sheets of paper at the front desk because the guy just walked away. Meanwhile we heard them talking in the back the whole time. So we continued to wait, clients/staff walked in and out never saying anything to us nor checking on us to even see why, who, what, we were waiting for. Nah, who cares right? I kept telling my wife after 1.5 hours of waiting that she was probably in a session with the previous client and was just running long. So I texted Dena, asking if we were still good for the appointment as scheduled. No reply. After about 20 minutes after the sent text, we decided to move on and leave. Still waiting on that text back. So we got home and asked the kids some questions. "How long did you guys wait for your appointment when you went?" They then explained the issues they ran into during the 2 times they went. First time, they called the shop to make an appointment. The girl picked up and said they were good to go. Then they arrived and said Dena was leaving for the day but managed to talk to her on the way out. She said she didn't know she had clients coming in. But luckily she said she was able to do their matching tattoos. Second time, my daughter went in. Had an appointment scheduled with her. When she showed up, she told her she didn't have time to do it? It was a 3" flower sketch? Some other artist that worked there that day ended up doing it for her. Our experience was disappointing, for sure, because from her IG she does good work. That's why we wanted her to do our tattoos. This one really meant something to us. I called out of work to get it done and it was my wife's first tattoo. Super important right? Oh well ::shrug emoji:: read more

The first time I went to the shop was in September I waited an hour while artists walked passed me and talked. There was me and one other customer in the lobby other than myself during that hour. I left and asked my aunt who suggested the shop who does her tattoos she suggested Grey and another artist. I Dmed Grey and asked if he could do a design he said he would draw it up and get back to me after a $50 cashapp. 3 months later I still don't have the tattoo after I've reached out nor have I received my money back. Today the shop had a $30 Christmas special. My mom and I went in hopes of getting matching tattoos. We waited 2 hours and 30 minutes for us to have other walk ins behind us be serviced before we left. read more

I'm going to let the pictures explain, but the artist Dom seemed nonchalant and disinterested when I tried to inquire about a flash design. Her attitude made me feel like I was annoying her when I really wanted to support her work. She didn't even say hi lmao. I even went into the shop in which I called prior, just to be told "Dom will be booked through the night" by another artist. When I called they said Dom was taking walkins and to stop by.... just a case of miscommunication. I don't know, I won't be returning though. read more

WORST TATTOO SHOP IN JAX PLEASE AVOID!!! This place is just an establishment with a bunch of idiots claiming they can tattoo and a sorry excuse of an owner claiming this is a tattoo shop. I came here last February, and the execution of my tattoo was horrid. I finally found time to finish this review and I ended up booking with an artist outside of Florida to have a consultation and see what can be done. I so wish I would have found out about the root of my concerns quicker, if only I knew the artist(s) here at Divine Lines were the problem and not me.. steer clear of the artist I went to named A.Davinci or Aaron (IG: @a.davincisliding__ ; his media is pure misconception). He is an artist in his head, but NO ONE in this " tattoo shop" is an actual tattoo artist. Long story short, I come across a video discussing the meaning of blowouts and more signs of an artist going too deep and being too rough on your skin. I took a further look at my arm and noticed my entire tattoo is full of "blowouts". It also made me remember my session having many similar concerns (bleeding, immediate pain, etc.). During my session with A.Davinci or Aaron, I explained exactly how I wanted my tattoo. I even explained to him I loved the flowers but I want it colorful. I do not want too much black. Why is the outline so wide and dark, with many dark lines? I thought my tattoos were going to slightly fade over time. My tattoo is still super dark, my skin would need to take that same kind of damage just to add the color I was looking for and he said he could do? I am trusting a tattoo artist in a shop to be professional and communicative. Why would I do research as if I am a tattoo professional myself? In my instance, who waits until a LOYAL client is frustrated months later to say numbing cream causes more issues with pain and healing? Why not AT THE LEAST try to explain the issues your clients experience with your tattoo style combined with numbing cream? There are so many artists that call BS on other artists complaining about numbing cream. Aaron is just not that kind of tattoo artist and needs to expand skill before increasing prices. To take someones money KNOWING you are a horrible artist is a scam. The shop he works in sells numbing cream; why? I don't know what kind of relationship he has with Dena (owner) but A.Davinci/Aaron "banned" me for extensively expressing my concerns; I guess he was speaking for Dena. I was so appalled by his unprofessional response, I called the shop and Dena answered. I briefly tried to explain my concerns, she then cut me off explaining she "understands, I was the third person of the week to complain about Aaron and she will reach out to her husband 'the big boss' and get back to me in a few hours". She never once got back to me. Not a phone call or an email back. I have been going to Dena for almost 4 years now and have spent nearly $3000 in this shop and to be treated like this is disgusting. No one even offered to take a deeper look at the tattoo or consolidate me in any way and it lets me know I was never cared for. I wish I would've never went to Dena either at this point. How weird for a shop to comfortably harm their clientele and treat the client as if they were wrong. Dena needs to properly educate and train her employees before considering this a business. Aaron/a.davinci should have turned me down and should have been much more honest about the work he can produce. Save yourselves the trouble and invest in a shop that actually cares for clientele and will produce their best work every time. Tattoos are permanent and meaningful. I stare at my tattoo in complete disgust because of the work done and how horribly I was treated. An absolute horrendous look on Divine Lines. read more
