I have come twice to this business and loved it both times!! First time I walked in and they had time for me thankfully. I got dip and a design on one nail which he payed very close attention to and made sure I liked it. They didn't rush me into picking a color and made sure I was happy with everything the whole time-- something other places don't do as they are just trying to rush you in and out to get more business (money). I was pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical going here. I am visiting from out of town. My mother in law lives here and for an early Christmas gift I wanted her to get pampered up. Back home in Phoenix I have a place I go to. I usually get dipped. But they could never do a French manicure unless it's ombré. I asked if she can do dipped and French manicure. I thought for sure she was going to say I would need to do gel. She said yes and I absolutely love them. They're reasonable affordable and very nice and polite. I highly recommend this place. Great shop. This is the only shop I have tried since moving to Salina. I am happy with the service. The prices are reasonable. They do not charge extra for a men's pedicure, like some places do. The service is excellent. The conversation is pleasant. The place seems pretty clean. I can see tool sanitation in plain sight. The chairs feel well worn. Perhaps some furniture updating would help. I wouldnt say that it is uncomfortable but you can feel the wear on the chairs. The guy that works there is always entertaining. He always has something fun to talk about. He also repairs iphones. I'm a guy that was visiting Salina and looked for a salon that could do a decent job on my finger nails. The first place I went to was on South Crawford and cost $30 for a job so crappy I went to Divine in the hopes they could do better. Not only did Kenny there fix my nails in a more professionally complete manner, but it was my good fortune to spend time getting to know him. I also noticed his attention to every customer's request was taken very seriously. So for half the cost of what I paid for lousy service at some "wanna-be upscale" salon I got a superior manicure and made a great visit of it at the same time. I'm new around this town and needed to find a place to get a gel manicure. This was the only place that had some reviews so I decided to try it. I walked in with no appointment and was taken right away (it was 1pm on a Tuesday). Kenny did my gel manicure and did a GREAT job on it. I really didn't even want to give any stars but I had to give at least 1. I got my nails done here today and I am so disappointed. They look horrible!!! None of them are even. They are crooked and I have so much super glue on my fingers. This is the worst set of nails I've ever gotten. Not to mention the guy that did my nails kept talking and because he used his hands he had to keep stopping and when he would go back to my nail she would forget which nail he was on. They always do a great job. And if you don't like something, have them do it over for you. They are friendly and happy to do whatever you want. Just ask! I also appreciate that they have a nice, clean shop with new equipment. They also don't make you sit there and wait for 30 to 40 minutes because people won't keep their appointments. read more
