I am so, SO glad we found him. He fit us in for a consult that same week, and he was great to work with. When we said, "Uhhh... we don't really have strong music preferences... at all," I was worried he wouldn't know what to do with us, but he easily figured out what we were going for, and he played the perfect mix of songs. He also did all the setup for our friend who played guitar and sang for our processional, and it sounded amazing. We achieved our goal of getting people to dance at our brunch wedding, and there's no way we could've done it without Mike. It's a bit broke-down - some of the seats have seen better days, there's a stain/eggshell from some audience jackass that's been high on the wall for ages, and the bathrooms have a distinct camp-latrine smell, but if the Roxy changed much or got all fancy and expensive, I'd be heartbroken. It's a place to watch movies, for movie lovers, and it rules.

When my husband went to their physical location this morning after 10 am it was unlocked but there was nobody there. The place was a mess with cooked and uncooked food everywhere. Finally a very unkempt person arrived. My husband calmly asked for a full refund. The owners "excuse " was he had a bad day on Saturday and he forgot he had to prepare the dinner for Sunday. Prospect Lake Community Hall is such an awesome venue for a wedding reception! They have everything…read moreyou need, included their big kitchen, tables, chairs, podium, arch, benches etc. We rented the chair covers, which I would recommend because the chairs aren't very pretty but they are VERY comfortable. The hall was a blank slate for us to decorate however we pleased and it looked wonderful when we were done! They have lots of hooks to hang things and you have full control of the lights so you can dim them to create a nice ambience. Their bathrooms are very clean and are a great size for larger events. Having the back room for the buffet was great so that the catering crew could cleanup without guests seeing them. Hiring their take-down crew was also well worth it. All around it was a great experience and I could see us throwing other parties here in the future! Highly recommended!
