I have nothing but good words to say about DJ Franco events! We got married on November 14 2020 (covid bride ) and they weee hired to DJ the reception, we had DJ Cool Cat along with Stephanie there to help things run smoothly and they were AMAZING! We very quickly added in our flower girl and ring bearer to the introductions because our flower girl was so sad when she found out they weren't planned to be introduced and they did it with no questions asked, later some of our burners keeping the food warm stopped working due to an outlet that stopped working and Stephanie was quick to go try and help figure out the problem and get things running smoothly again with my mother in law. They followed our schedule to a T and DJ Cool Cat kept people on the dance floor and having fun! Our wedding ended up smaller due to covid and I was so scared there wouldn't be enough people out and dancing but they made sure to keep the music to our list and genres that we liked. They also took requests even from our friends children who had to hear the get up?! We had such an amazing night and I am SO glad I found them at a bridal expo I went to last year they were the perfect DJ fit to our big day! They had an app we used to pick all the songs on your playlist which was so easy and convenient and also listed the categories we needed a song for and they had us send a recording of our names to make sure they didn't butcher our last name when introducing us which I loved because so many people mispronounce our name. We just had DJ Franco Events as the DJ at our wedding in late May of 2022 in College Station. Couldn't have asked for anything better. We knew we'd like working with them and that they'd do a great job the day we met them about a year and a half prior. And we were right. They made everything so easy. The app they have you use to customize what you want to before the event is so cool and so useful and easy to use! They were also very diligent, friendly, helpful, and most importantly rocked the wedding. They nailed the ceremony and the reception. When choosing music for your wedding it can often be difficult to choose between a live band and a DJ. For me (the bride) it was always going to be a DJ. So, when looking for DJ's in Bryan/College Station, I found DJ Franco Events who came highly recommended from other vendors. My husband and I had a video conference meeting with Franco himself and we booked him right on the spot. He was kind, informative, and seemed to understand the vibe we were going for for the wedding day. On the big day, Franco kept all of our family and friends dancing the night away! He used this app called Vibo to organize music based on our timeline for the reception which was easy to use and we could add detailed notes too as well. He arranged the timing of songs and when to fade them out for the father-daughter and mother-son dance. He played all our "Must play" songs and even threw in some other fun classics as well. His ability to MC the reception with energy and enthusiasm was exactly what we wanted. Overall, DJ Franco Events was extremely easy to work with, well organized, and great at communicating with us in preparation for our big day. I had my wedding with DJ Franco 10/17/20 and we literally could not have asked for a better DJ!! A DJ is one of those things that's harder to book because you don't get to see/hear their work before booking like you can see a photographers photos or a videographers videos. With our family and friends being huge partiers and loving a good dance floor, we were just hoping we were going to be happy with the DJ we booked, and we were blown away! We had a few phone calls with DJ Franco leading up to the wedding and we didn't have any particular requests, we just constantly kept telling him "we are big dancers, we are big dancers" because we were a little nervous about it. DJ Franco literally kept everyone on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG. I was even telling my husband I didn't get to say hi to some people that were at the wedding because I was having too much fun and I just could not leave the dance floor! Absolutely recommend DJ Franco. We actually had to cancel my daughter's Quinceñera last June 2020 because of COVID. Franco was very understanding and I was able to reschedule to this year without any problem. Then the week of our event we had an issue with the venue, I contacted DJ Franco and he was very understanding, once again and I gave him the new venue address. He had never been to this venue but I sent him pictures and told him more or less where we thought he could set up. Once we got to the venue, we were running late, he had already set up and had the music going. We also booked the photo booth which everyone LOVED!!!! I received an email with all the pictures first thing Monday. I received so many compliments and have already been told that I need to book him for my daughter's 18/Graduation party. We hired DJ Franco for my daughter's wedding on June 13, 2020. Pre-wedding, they were willing to sit down with us as many times as we felt comfortable and go over each item one at a time. There were no surprises in the pricing. They listened to what our expectations were and they did not disappoint! As the Mother-of-the-Bride, I did not have to worry about one thing where they were concerned. They were polite, nice, professional, accommodating and fun! Not only was their equipment of high quality, but they were able to guide our guests through dinner, cutting the cake, dances, send-off, etc. with little or no prompting and you could understand every word. All our guests commented on how much fun the wedding was. The DJ sets the tone of any event, and DJ Franco soared through with flying colors.
