(Plus a few months prior to the wedding they repainted the entire room a tannish/brown...no longer the "meh" forest green.) What made Packard EVEN better was the staff. I had the best wedding planner in the world and am so sad for future brides that Kori won't be there to help you...she was amazing! (Don't worry, there are other wonderful ladies there that will help you and be awesome for you!) The reception went smoothly and that is mostly due to the organization of the staff at Packard. They have binders for every couple getting married and keep every email, conversation, checklist, you name it...in that binder. Last, the chef/caterer, One World....We got SOOOO many compliments on the food at our wedding. We literally had a friend email us to tell us how great it was and how he had never had that good of food at a wedding before. It was phenomenal! I loved Packard Plaza and our photos from the reception turned out amazing. Highly, highly recommend it!

The second floor overlooks the seating area and surrounds the dance floor. It seems that they bring the wedding party up so that they can make their grand entrance down some stairs to the head table. The only thing is that they don't utilize the space any more than that, although some of the photographers used it for pictures. The space is right for a smaller size wedding. The staff was quite adept at keeping tidy during service, almost so much so that they almost took away stuff I was still working on. I don't fault them too much on that, they were busting their butts out there. The only thing I didn't like is that sitting at the head table I could see the food carts being rolled in around the DJ table to the kitchen area. I thought that looked kinda weird. Overall we had a really good time and a lot of people got out on the dance floor. That's all that matters.

Reserved them last minute -- we were going to do a booth ourselves but decided to hire someone instead so we wouldn't have to worry about it... we are so glad my sister found them on Facebook! Before the date of the event, worked with Jamin to create a personalized layout with our initial, wedding date and wedding colors for the background of our photo "strips" - decided on a 4x6 odd square layout to be different than your typical 4-photo vertical. Booth is perfect size - 3 can sit on the bench and 4 can stand behind, able to fit 7 in the booth easy, 8 or 9 if you like a challenge. Trunk full of diverse and inspiring props - hats, beards, capes, quintessential mustaches - you name it! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about how fun the booth was to use and how friendly the guy was who was working (I didn't catch his name). And since we picked out an odd layout for our prints, guests only received one photo printout but they could request additional reprints and he was more than willing to reprint numerous times for everyone who was in the booth for that photo. My one and only complaint -- I wish I would've asked him to stay an extra hour longer! By the time my new husband and I were able to take a second alone together to breathe and decide we wanted to go and use the booth together, our time was up and the booth gone. But that was on us, time flew and before we knew it, the day was done. Would 100% use Peoria Photo Booth again if we ever need one for another event! Crafted DIY Studio & Bar of Peoria... you have my heart!! I visited Peoria with my boyfriend a…read moremonth ago and took a walk for approx. 3 minutes before stumbling into Crafted. I LOVE CRAFTS. And I also like to sip. So naturally, we walked in and signed ourselves up for a craft session the next morning. The options are truly expansive in terms of both project variety and skill level! I made a wine caddy (the shapes were pre-cut, but I sanded, assembled, and painted the finish), and the boo thang made a leather wallet. Drinks were tasty! I wasn't in the mood to drink at 11am (I'm not strong enough... yet), so I had a fizzy drink with muddled berries and mint at the bottom. I LOVE IT HERE! As they said to me upon walking in, "You don't have to craft to drink and you don't have to drink to craft," but you'll for sure have a great time :")
