After much review we went with John Breuer. Our only contact was Dustin. We enjoyed his candor and straightforward advice. He offered all the options. Areas where we could consider saving some money, and areas where some additional money would add value. The numbers can get confusing with different contractors, but Dustin's estimate was more straightforward than some. In the end you have to go with your gut. Most of the project went pretty smoothly. Our township was unusually tough. Other neighbors confirmed. Maybe we wouldn't have had the stucco problems in the first place if they had looked as closely when the house was originally built. Most of the work was done within a month, but it was some of the finishing details that took some additional time. At no point did we feel ignored. Dustin kept us up to date. We had a lot done and I think the house was completed in a more timely fashion than some others. Additionally, during the process we had other contractors come to give estimates on various other items... like a new driveway. Each time we received unsolicited compliments on the quality of the work. That was nice to hear from people that know quality work when they see it. Also, the unsolicited compliments from others on the cosmetics were too numerous to count. The landscapers will be finishing up tomorrow and we can't wait for it all to be done. The house looks awesome. It can be scary to embark on a costly project like this. Throughout it all, Dustin and his crew were there. We would easily recommend them.

I inquired on how long the job would take based on pictures I sent over, and he replied "an hour max, and it will probably be a couple screws and glue" Communication was OK overall. Lee contacted me on a Monday and asked for the address, email and phone number and asked about my availability for the remainder of the week. I didn't receive a response to my reply, so I had to follow up the next day. We were able to get the job scheduled for the same Friday and his team came to complete the project utilizing a lockbox we provided. I didn't receive any updates during the job, which probably would have helped the surprise of the invoice I later received that was $232.35 when I was expecting something closer to $100 based on our first conversation. Lee did promptly reply and let me know that they thought they would hit a stud but since there was nothing, the job was more complicated as they had to create the support. Overall, still a solid experience and I would still consider using Lee and Finest Fix in the future.

Because the house is over 75 yrs old, the sides of the carport had multiple layers of peeling paint. He tore the sides off, replicated them exactly, rehung them and stained them instead of painting, which took the house back to its original MCM design. Floor Install Systems deserves less than one star. Their workmanship looks worse than a DIY gone…read morewrong. They caught my stovetop on fire, broke the wood under both sets of cabinets, damaged all of the appliances, damaged the subfloor, sawed their materials in my living room and they had no precautions set up to protect my home from all of the debris they created. They didn't even bring a shop vac. All of my appliances were left unprotected during demo and are caked in tile debris. My sofa, pillows and blankets are all covered in saw dust and the air quality was so poor Servpro had to come in and put air scrubbers in the house. Who would have thought a simple floor job would cause this much damage and cause me to have to relocate . Unskilled, laborers are not worth the $ you saved to hire them. Floor Install Systems is taking no responsibility for the damage they have created and lied to the insurance company telling them that they agreed to fix it for me. That never happened, maybe you promised that to another mistake you made but it wasn't a conversation that we had. In addition, I had removed everything possible from the room, all they had to do was move the appliances but according to Jack it was my job to move those too (even though there is a charge in the invoice for the appliances). He would know that the rooms were empty IF he'd bothered to come look at the jobsite the following morning when I asked. Instead he kept putting me off until LL Flooring said they would take the info from me for him. Consumers beware, they also work for LL Flooring. The pics do not do the damage justice.
