The Mill is a great wee theatre, nicely laid out and easy to navigate. We arrived early so got a good look around the room, there isn't a bad seat in it. The décor is clean, comfortable and modern with some nice touches like the lighting that hang down all 3 levels of the stairwell. The bar is as you would expect - a bit Spartan with a very limited selection - including just 2 beers on tap - Guinness and Heineken. It was disappointing, but then, you don't come for the drinks do you? read more

The Mill Theatre is a modern theatre located at the centre of the equally modern Dundrum Town Centre. It's pretty slick and has all of the comfort that you would expect from a purpose-built theatre. Like many new theatres, the seating is tiered downwards towards the stage which is on ground level so you won't have to crane your head to see. The programme is varied, and includes productions by children's story-tellers, local singing and dancing groups and touring drama troupes. This summer, it even includes an evening with a psychic medium! I saw a really professional and smooth performance of Irvine Welsh's 'Babylon Heights' here a few years ago. The building also boasts a bright gallery space. read more

I LOVE this theater! its so intimate and new and just perfect for Dundrum. I keep trying to remember the name of the play i went to see here recently but i just cant, which is annoying! but it was really excellent, the set was put together so well, for some of the play a man was hanging inside a fireplace and it looked brilliant. anyway, I'm not reviewing a play,I'm reviewing the theater! ( i get so distracted!) outside the theater itself there is a place where there is always an art exhibition, great to look at in the interval. if your no into art though there is really nice warm bar downstairs that will meet all you interval and pre and post theater drinking needs. I love this theater so much that i have booked their Christmas pantomime show today to bring two kids to. this theater really knows how to cater for children, on top of children's shows there are drama singing and dance workshops that they can take part in from time to time. as far as i can remember this theater was built with the dundrum community in mind and i can firmly say that it has served the community well so far. read more

I have been to several productions here and I have always gone home impressed. It's located in the Dundrum Town Centre, so you can enjoy some retail therapy or a fancy meal before the performance. As is if this wasn't enough culture to go on, the Mill theatre is also has an impressive art gallery. read more
There's actually a lot of half decent stuff on here! Usually when you mention the Mill Theatre, people will say..."Where?".. "What?" "Who?" "There'a a theatre there?" But they tend to stage a lot of good productions! Contemporary Irish Theatre, Irish Theatre from ages ago that people still like to put on, comedy, panto-style stuff... And all of the above! read more

Established in 2006.
Located in the heart of Dundrum Town Centre, since opening in May 2006 the Mill Theatre has staged the best in theatre, visual art, comedy, music, kids stuff and much, much more.. The Mill brings many people together both on and off stage. It has become a focal point of gathering and a home for our local groups, dance schools etc. It has even become a showcase piece for the Town Centre itself.
