Among the drugstore options in Hamburg, DM is my favorite. There's nothing wrong with Budni, and there's very little difference (from what I can tell) in the products offered, but DM shops just seem better-designed and feel less cluttered and claustrophobic.
The design of this particular DM is a little strange because it's laid out in one long corridor going towards the back. The entrance is especially tight with just two checkout lanes, and as a result it sometimes takes a while to check out.
They have all of the standard drugstore / convenience store items like hygiene stuff (soap, shampoo, deodorant, shaving, dental care, etc) some home care items (cleaning products, paper products, etc), and a surprisingly large organic (bio) food section, with lots of whole grain products (flours, meals, oats, quinoa, baking supplies), specialty milks (soy milk, almond milk, etc.) and, obviously, brotaufstriche (bread toppings, like jams, nutella, etc.). read more
