After a lengthy application process, assessment testing and introductory video, I had a wonderful interview with my recruiter, Lisa G. She is positive, wonderful, attentive and truly goes above and beyond to place you. I was out interviewing within a week of our meeting and landed a temp-to perm position shortly thereafter. Wages are within the range I specified and my particular employer is a stable, long established company. They are great to work with! I am still within the temp-to-hire period but expect to have a permanent offer extended to me soon. There is no fee to the applicant to use AppleOne. Even if you are out "pounding the pavement" and applying for jobs directly, keep in mind that some employers just don't advertise all of their open positions. There are also some that have agencies handle all prospective employee screenings. It's worth a shot and truly helps to have someone else marketing your job experience, skills and talent. Always saying their sending out hundreds of copies of my resumes and calling contacts. A visit to their office in June 2011 to meet personally proved fruitless with more empty promises. O n Dec. 3, 2011 they disapppeared off the face of the earth with no notice, disconnected their office phones in Coral Gables, and the same with their home phone in Parkland, Fla. They have refused to respond to the Broward County Better Business Bureau and also the Dept of Consumer Affairs, now a letter to the Fla. Attorney Generals Office and the Broward County Small Claims Court follows. They are a disgrace to the community and the services they propose to provide.
