The food has good taste as for food truck but they are not cheap. double Gustazo is popular at local. It has wait time to pick up the food due to a lot of order. The food truck has some seated area. I got the the Carrucho with mofongo. The Carrucho is the conch. They processed the food very well. It have good number of conch. It come with a bit salad. The mofongo has good garlic mixed. It is delicious. Although is do not have the pork belly mixed in, but the taste is there. The only thing is the price is a bit steep. Almost $20. It is almost restaurant price with good ambient. For food trucks his price is on the high side.

So I have been away from FL for some years and so I've been missing some good Puerto Rican food. And behold what do I see along the side of the road DG! Everything from the chicken to the empanada is cooked to order and served hot. It's a small family run operation and they put their love of PR in to all that they prepare. Each item was actually ordered one at a time, to be honest after the first bite of the sandwich I had to try another item. And each was just as good as the last to include the fries. I can truly say if a place serves crinkle fries they are already up in my book. And they were nicely seasoned. The chicken cracklings were outstanding. The next time will require ordering enough for left overs to include two empanadas. This is definitely my new go to spot. And they have a nice little outdoor area if you want to enjoy eating outside or eat in your car like I did

Thank you Lazara and family for your wonderful food! It was so so good. The shrimp and dufongo were so flavorful and came with a good amount of medium size shrimp. The skirt steak and tostones with the perfect flavor and texture. It was excellent. The alcapurria with chicken was a great taste with the pink sauce. Thanks for being so cheery and welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be back! Make sure to follow them on FB and IG to see where they are at. Today they were at the County Line Produce in Lutz!

One of the most delicious puerto rican food truck i ever had . They food was hot, so tasty and the food truck was so clean . I felt like I was eating my moms cooking thats how delicious the food was . We had pernil aka roast pork and rice and Pasteles which is a puerto rican Christmas dish . I also tried the fried chicken chunk and it was delicious as well. The entire staff was so nice and sweet . I will definitely be back to try some other dishes . They also have a frappe truck but I saw it too late but the frappes looks delicious can't wait to come back and try .

This is what the entrance looks like.

So I came to Doble Gustazo for the first time this past Sunday, about a half hour before they closed. My experience was GREAT!!! As appetizers we ordered the seafood empanada and an alcapurria. For our main course, I ordered the Carne frita (fried pork chunks) with mofongo and my husband had the tripleta sandwich, we each had a passion fruit juice. Wow oh wow, the food was fresh, the pork chunks were juicy, the tripleta sandwich was so soft and flavorful! It felt like we were sitting at a quiosco in Puerto Rico. I'd highly recommend this little taste of Caribbean island cooking, you won't be disappointed. You don't want to miss this place, but it's so easy to miss it. It's a food truck kind of cart, with bench style tables in front. There's a sign as you enter the parking lot that says "coakley one", pull in, park your car and enjoy the food in the beautiful Florida weather. I'm actually typing this review as I'm sitting in their parking lot waiting for them to open. You will love it here. The food is great, the presentation in cute, the service is friendly (they care about your opinions here) and they even cater. When we asked the gentleman that was cooking, what do they offer on their catering menu, he said, "We make whatever you want!" Can't get any better than that. Support small business

Left overs, forgot to take a pic before scarfing down lol.

*****New menu item**** La Tripleta (the Triplet) it's a sandwich with 3 meats, cheese, potato sticks and the Puerto Rican Yum-yum sauce Mayo Ketchup. Mmmmm the flavor is delish has a smokey ham taste that was amazing. Go check it out and don't forget the Malta!

Doble Gustazo truly puts the "family" in "family run" Everyone we encountered was warm and personable and the food reflects that love and dedication to a quality experience. I've been dreaming about this Tripleta since I first tried it a few weeks ago (pictured here) so I ordered that again and my boyfriend had the Churrasco con Mofongo. Both super flavorful dishes!

I wanted this to be my spot. It broke my heart instead…read more Let me start with the moment that told me everything. I handed a piece of the chicken to my Latino friend and said nothing, not what it was, not where it came from, no complaining to color his read. He chewed once, made a face, and said it was one of the worst things he's ever put in his mouth. I've also got Puerto Rican cousins, so I know what this food is supposed to taste like. Two of us, no coordination, same verdict: this wasn't it. Here's how I got there. This truck sits five minutes from my house, right on my drive to school and back. I'd been eyeing it for weeks, watching the ratings climb, telling myself I'd finally stop in. Today I did, genuinely rooting for it. They were down to their last two portions, one fried chicken, one fried pork, so I grabbed both with a side of arroz con habichuelas, took it home, and got ready to fall in love. I didn't make it past the second bite. The chicken pulled off something I didn't think was physically possible: watery and dry at the very same time. Slick and wet on the outside, stringy and parched the second you bit in, the whole thing tough and rubbery. And flavorless, not "needs a little salt" flavorless, but nothing at all. There was a thin sauce spooned over the top, but it just sat on the surface, so the first bite carried a hint of something and every bite after carried absolutely nothing. The fried pork didn't save the plate either, salty to the point of wincing and dry as a board. Even the rice and beans, the easiest layup on any Puerto Rican plate, landed flat. If you're still set on going, here's my honest advice: go early, right after they open, and order something you can watch them cook fresh. What I got tasted like it had been sitting a long time before it reached me, and timing might be the whole difference. But I can only review the plate I was handed, and the plate I was handed was, plainly, awful. I wanted to be a regular here so badly. I left unable to recommend it to a single person.

The first Rice N Beans location was in a modest location and then it became a big restaurant in Wesley Chapel. Now they have this new location which is closer to their first location. They serve rotisserie chicken here and other dishes depending on the day of the week. This is a Puerto Rican restaurant. They do not have mofongo. You can find that at their restaurant. Here, I would definitely say to choose their chicken. It was so good and flavorful. We ordered the full chicken and it included two sides which we chose arroz con gandules and Maduros (rice and sweet plantains). The chicken was our fave for sure and we would definitely get it again. The service was very friendly. I came late on Wednesday night. They close at 7 and it was about 6:45. I picked up a menu and came back the next day. Glad I stopped by and tried the chicken. It was great. There are many chicken places opening up around us, but it's fried chicken. This is roasted chicken. I love Puerto Rican rice arroz con gandules, but I'd ask if it's newly made. I didn't think this rice we had was as fresh and it didn't have much flavor. I would try the rice again if I saw they just made it! This area is becoming a Latin crawl for food. Go to Kinka's for breakfast or dessert, Cosita Rica's for empanadas or soups, and Rice N Beans Express for chicken!
