The look is sleek and very modern with minimal colours and interesting textures. Both men's and women's wear are gorgeous and made with love and expertise. This is a brand that we should be proud of and was started here in Melbourne - no wonder it is so great! It has more of a European edge to the clothes and makes a nice contrast with some of the lighter and more casual stores along the strip. The space is really interesting - it is only small but they have worked hard to make it appear spacious, and they have succeeded. The clothes are scattered around and there are designated racks for men and women's sale items (yay!). Expect great service, a warm welcome, bold fashion and beautiful fabrics. Bliss.

The quality of the items available are generally of a high standard, and are very current in terms of this seasons fashion. I really liked the womens wear, they had some great dresses and jewellry that was very complimentary to the outfits available. Isnt it nice when you can walk into one store, find an entire outfit and then be done with it? The sales staff were great at finding matching accessories for my new dress, and I would definitely recommend checking it out when you are looking for both casual and party wear.

While the shop is small service can be a bit hit and miss, some of the girls are lovey and very friendly while others give off a bit of a snooty vibe. When the store is busy its quite hard to get some advice as the sales assistants are usually running around and keeping their eyes on all the customers. Make sure you check out the sale section (while small, sometimes you can find a decent deal), and there are changing rooms too up the back.

Whenever I walk past Oscar & Wild, I always stare longingly at their gorgeous window display and think; "one day I'll be ladylike enough to wear something like that..." Or sometimes I think; "Why don't footballers girlfriends wear that to the Brownlow instead of that other garbage?" Yep, this place is fancy, formal and freakin' pricey, but understandably worth it. It is stocked with gorgeous dresses perfect for a uni ball or any other formal occasion, as well as dressy jackets, blazers and pants. One day I'll be able to wear these clothes, but for now I'll just continue to stare longingly...
