People in the restaurant had ripped jeans, flip flops, crop tops, nearly naked folks and here was my 81 year old classy mom who just wanted to have a Coke Zero and see the views for our last night in Hamburg. This may be attributed to the fact that this bar is in a hotel. The bar has a wonderful outside seating area which was full most days of my weekend visit. Great views of the shopping crowds on a busy, sunny Saturday. The bar also stays open late. I had the pistachio martini which was delicious!! Followed by a dirty martini. I also had the chicken Cesar salad which was just ok. Nothing special. I would definitely visit again. The renaissance hotel was a great place to stay and made me feel very welcome and like a VIP. I was offered a free drink at the Bricks Bar as a reward for my loyalty to Marriott Bonvoy program (titanium elite).
