A great hunting lodge. Our guide, Don, was helpful and let the dogs do their work. The manager, Aaron, runs it well, and it's amazing to watch the dogs at work finding birds. The lodge, which has 8 beds, could use a second bathroom but otherwise is adequate and comfortable although spartan. They'll clean and freeze the birds for you. Perhaps the best feature is the landscape. It's a huge preserve with lots of long grasses and not just a harvested cornfield. A fun weekend! read more
