He spent a good bit of time trying to get my laptop to boot up and eventually removed the hard drive and battery to take them to his home workshop so he could retrieve my info and put it on my thumb drive. He rang me in the evening to say that sadly the hard drive was corrupt and couldn't be accessed. The battery had begun to bow upward, so it was a goner too. In his opinion the 7 year old machine wasn't worth fixing because at that age things would just keep going wrong. Kinda like a used car. In the end he didn't charge me a penny because he wasn't able to fix my machine! How often does that happen?!! So if you have a PC that is giving you trouble and you want someone to come to you, definitely give Ken a call. You won't regret it.

They tried it, while I was on the phone, and said that it would not turn on. After three more days they said that they troubleshoot it and the display, video card and motherboard were ruined from the spill. I asked how they determined that. They said it would not turn on and that they pulled it apart and looked at it. They quoted me 1300.00 to fix it. I told them that I wanted to think about it. After 5 days, I got the laptop back and tried turning it on and everything worked fine. I don't why it took so long, or why my computer worked just fine for me.

Do not take your phone here. Tommy the manager is worthless. He left 7 screws out of my phone after…read moretwo installations. The employees here know nothing about customer service. When I confronted tommy about the missing screws he said he didn't install it, he said he doesn't make mistakes, when I watched him do every second of the install. Upon learning all of this, I started talking to my friends and coworkers about this issue and I found out that pretty much everyone who has taken their phone here has had similar problems. You are better off ordering a replacement screen online and doing the install yourself. The district or regional manager, Chris Brown, was also no help, saying that he stands behind his manager's work. When I spoke to Mr. Brown on the phone he told me that unless the screen was not properly installed, which it clearly wasn't, there was nothing he could do for me. When I spoke to him a second time upon realizing the screen was NOT properly installed, he told me that I was "trying to get one over on him". This is not how a business works. If the install was properly done the first time, I would have not wasted hours (yes, hours) of my time and I would not have lost out on $170. I ended up installing a third screen myself, and it works perfectly. Do not waste your time or money here.

I took it to him on Monday afternoon and he said it was probably the cable to the hard drive and that he would email me as soon as he knew. He emailed me the next day to say that was the problem and that all my data should still be there. It was ready to pick up Wednesday afternoon. Not only did he save my PhD, but he cleaned my computer and replaced the three missing feet on the bottom. Amazing service! Total lifesaver!

Their mac tech there was extremely willing to get this thing done on the cheap. Everything works just as it did before and seems to be at least a bit more responsive. Thankfully I don't really look at my keyboard to type so having "bnbn" as part of the keyboard doesn't bother me in the slightest.
