Going to the dentist is stressful as it is and a miss communication isn't an adventure like a meal which is completely different than one expected. We're talking about my teeth here. And "Dr Nick" does talk a lot about what he is doing. He's quite gentle, but explained everything a little too much. I wanted to say that I had been to a dentist before--every 6 months when I was in the US. Ah well. I am sure it serves him for the most part.
He was quite efficient. I was in right away and had my check up with x-rays done in 30 minutes. The good news? My hygiene was still up to par and no new cavities, 40€. The bad news? I have two 15 year old fillings that need to be replaced (I figured as much and considering the quack I saw in college who put them in I'm surprised they lasted so long), 170€. At least I can wait to put the money together.
I was told that the cleaning and fillings will be about 45 minutes. Since they are conveniently located a few blocks from La Sagrada Familia, time is not a problem; it's just not going out for a few weeks to save up for for the expense.
