It is an eclectic mix of current collectibles like Byers Choice Carolers, folk art themed items, and big and small eye candy like locally made ornaments and cards. There are 4 rooms - a large front sales area, then a smaller area with fine items and foods, an area with lighting and collectibles and then in the rear, an area filled with vintage and antique finds. There are a large number of candles of a large variety of scents and manufacturers. I bought a bayberry scented jar candle and wasn't thrilled with the strength of the scent when I burned it. I would have been better off with the bayberry tapers. It's difficult to describe the items for sale except to say that the variety is extensive, some local items, gift items in all price ranges and something for everyone who is enticed by a country collectible vibe. Beautiful store, and a wonderful browsing experience!

So many finds in this store. I am a big fan of the locally-handmade candles sold here. The scents last, even when the candle has burned down. The candles have super fun names too. These candles make such great gifts...even though I end up keeping them for myself! This store sells artistic teaspoons. I bought a set for my mom at Christmas & she got teary eyed, she loves cooking with them. I added a photo so you can see how special they are. The staff is ridiculously friendly & helpful. Everytime I enter the store, I am welcomed & always end up having a nice conversation w/the crew. I much prefer supporting local small businesses over purchasing gifts online or at a corporate mall. The Olde Mill House Shoppes is two different buildings - the old stone house and an old barn - that have a wide selection of stuff that women love to shop like rugs, furniture, lighting, home decor, kitchen gadgets, pantry items, women's clothing and accessories. They also have a floral department that I think makes wreaths. My favorite part of the shoppes was the old stone house. Aside from admiring the lovely architecture I enjoyed looked at kitchen gadgets, kitchen decor, pantry items like bread mixes and such. I loved the creek of the floors too. It was a very charming experience. A lot of the furniture was definitely in the Shaker and colonial styles. The lighting section was amazing. Lots of early American inspired design lighting. I wasn't in the market for lighting so I moved on to other things. The rug section was fun to peruse. I saw they sold one of my favorite brands - Dash and Albert. They also had a lot of braided rugs. Regarding the clothing section in the refurbished barn, it wasn't really my style but it seemed like there were some regular customer in there having an absolute ball shopping for some new outfits. It kind of reminded me of the fun, comfy and colorful styles you might find at Chico's. Aside from the above, there was plenty more to look at like some linens, wall art, candles, etc. Overall, this was a fun place to explore and a great place to stop in while in Lancaster County.

I've passed this thrift store many times but never stopped in. It's right on the square and I…read moreassumed parking would be an issue so I never stopped. Recently I took a vacation day and was camping in the area and decided to check them out. Much to my surprise they have a private parking lot in the back. From the back entry there was a porch that had some free items that didn't meet their resale requirements. Inside was a vestibule with $1 clothing that had minor blemishes on. On the tags that I took the time to look at it was written what was wrong which I thought was nice. The deal of the day was ladies tops which were half off. Inside the shop I was greeted by two older ladies sitting at chairs chatting. The overall store is about the size of an efficiency apartment and is a very narrow space. The organization was done well and knick knacks were proudly displayed. There were probably about 8 customers in the tiny space, plus myself and the two clerks which felt like a crowd in such a narrow space. It was impossible to social distance. Ladies clothing and knick knacks dominated the store Children's clothing, toys, and housewares were very limited. While browsing the racks I did find several tops, all half off, as well as some jeans for $3. Prices were very reasonable. The dressing room is part of the bathroom, which seemed to also be a kitchen as it had a microwave in it, and also a toothbrush at the sink. Overall with the ladies sitting and talking at the entrance, to the personal items in the bathroom it felt like I was in someone's house. At that point I didn't know if this was a charity room thrift store, or just someone selling used, donated items for profit. However at the register they did have a sign showing how much money the store has donated to various charities over the years and it was impressive. When I told the cashier I can't believe there wasn't any Yelp reviews they had no idea what Yelp was! Probably not a regular stop for me during COVID due to the distancing aspect but worth checking out if you're not concerned.

Their window display was super charming and it drew me. Inside I found lots of goodies like accessories, stationary, jewelry, candles, home decor and such all nicely displayed. The store had a bit of a warm, natural feel to it and perhaps that is because of the plants. The items that caught my eye the most were some sturdy barrettes, a pair of lovely hoop earrings and a "crazy plant lady" sticker. Lititiz has a lot of great specialty shops but I think this is my favorite!
