They are very unorganized, I have been here 10+ times for nail trimmings and only now they are saying if I don't bring in my full vet records they won't see me and saying this at the time of appointment and not the time of making the appointment. I've tried multiple Petsmarts, Vets, mom & pop places and a bougie place on Horizon Ridge. This place beats them all. They did a fabulous job on my Shiba Inu, the staff couldn't have been nicer and the price is unbeatable. They offer all the add on's obviously, but a great bath and nails was far less expensive than anywhere I've been. It's also very clean and cute. read more

For almost 3 months in the summer this last yr they had no air conditioning in the front of the facility. It was hot and they had multiple floor fans going. They leave the dogs alone at nite and put them at risk for the rest of the system in the back going out. The staff said the manager Preston only wanted one company to do the repairs but the company was too busy to come out was what the staff said. It felt like they didn t have the resources for the repairs. Put to g over items dogs at risk if the rest of the system we t out. This happened the yr summer before. Would never recommend this place they will take more dogs than they should I think and most likely your dogs aren f getting much yard time while they r caged. Not what u r paying for. read more

I left my dog for the first time...I was worried because he is a 94 lb 11 month old baby. I liked DD. He seemed to have been fine during his stay. I was told he minded his own business and just hung out by himself. That does not surprise me. The doggy bath you guys gave him was great. Would totally recommend since I did not want him coming home stinky from play. My only 2 suggestions - would be to place a camera closer to the front of big dog area. Before opening the gate in the back, you can't see any of the dogs. I never saw my dog in the cameras. Most of the cameras seem to be on areas that are not occupied or faced in a way that does not show the busy areas. I bought the VIP package and my daily report existed of a photo. I would have liked some feedback...how he was eating, playing, any specifics would have been great. Thanks for taking care of him. read more

My brother recommend this place as he boarded his dog for 5 nights and saw how much they loved dogs and care for them, so when I have my fur babies of my own, I only would board my two doggies here. However staff is great and easily reachable. I would have given them a 5-stars, however I was misinformed and was told that we were able to add military discount with the multi-dogs discount. Since I have 2 dogs, it gets pricey to board them and anything would help. First reservation for both dogs was $800 for 4 nights. both dogs loved it, however we didn't look at the receipt to see if both discount was applied, because we trusted the staff, and I even kept asking "are you sure we are able to apply both discount," and they kept assuring us that they can. So I didn't bothered to look at the receipt or even questioned the amount, as I trusted the staff to honor want they said. But I was wrong. Lesson learned. I booked another reservation for January 2023, this time it will be 7 nights. Although it is too late to make changes of our travel plans, I'll keep the reservation. I may need to look at another boarding options. Make sure to have the written note that this what a staff said or else they'll won't honor it. I believe other businesses should be able to add military discount on top of other discounts. read more

WARNING *** DISTURBING IMAGES *** This is a warning to all dog owners. I took my dog in for boarding and opted for no yard play. My 8 year old Weimaraner enjoys relaxing and the standard option with three walks per day is plenty of activity for him. An hour after I dropped him off I received a call from the resort manager questioning if my dog had been around other dogs that day and if I knew why he was bleeding from his side. I explained to her that he is our only dog and doesn't interact with other animals unless he's with them. She went on to explain that he had a mysterious series of injuries allegedly discovered when they took him out of the play yard to put in his room. Since we were about to board a flight we asked that she take him to the vet for care immediately. The vet called and explained the injuries were consistent with a dog bite and that his flesh had been torn away from the muscle causing a pocket of blood and a pretty high risk for infection! He had to have surgery to clean the would and have a drain placed with sutures. He was in medication for 10 days and was in pain with increased under body bruising each day that passed. The bruising appeared to be from a human kicking his belly and the area was tender to the touch for days. The Resort Manager, Rebecca, failed to return my phone calls and never was able to explain what happened. The vet was able to speak with her 2 days after the injuries occurred and told me that despite having video cameras in the facility, there was supposedly no footage of any incident and no employees reported anything either! It should be noted that I did not consent for the group play, which is where the incident occurred, and that the center policy is to have a dog trainer in the yard at all times. My dog is very kind and yelps if you simply rub his ears the wrong way. No way he was silent while this attack occurred. Either the trainer was present, witnessed the attack and subsequently abused my dog or they broke company policy and had no attendee on duty at all. Either way they are negligent and their lack of compassion or follow up is concerning. It has been a month now and they I still have no explanation as to what happened as they have not returned my calls or texts. Nobody was held responsible for this tragedy and Doggie District's employees are able to continue to neglect your dogs too!! These are the photos taken by the vet when he arrived and after surgery. My baby Koji stayed at Doggie District Silverado this past Thanksgiving weekend, and the staff couldn't have taken better care of him. Koji is a geriatric pit with terrible anxiety that ended up scratching his nose raw within the first day or two of his 5-day stay. The staff not only kept me updated on his condition but took him to the vet in a timely fashion. Bri stayed with my baby and comforted him before and after the vet visit, making sure he had enough water at all times and giving him all the love he needed to feel comfortable. They were diligent with his treatment and medication and took the time to make sure I was updated and understood the treatment plan. I am so grateful for Doggie District and its caring staff and trust that Koji is in great hands in their care. read more

We had Lydia from the Doggie District out to our home for a evaluation of our GSP and she was very nice! There was a charge of $75.00 for our 1st visit. I was of the understanding that future visits would be at that rate per hour. The owners and or managers tried to do the old bait and switch. They offered me a package of 7 visits in my home for over $900.00 and when I told them I could NOT afford that they offered me a 4 visit package for $650.00 and that's about $162.50 per visit.These people are dog trainers and NOT Attorney's. I just wanted my dog to learn the basics of sit, stay, come and off and go to your room. These are very simple commands for a dog to learn. I have since hired a Dog Trainer for in home training for 1/2 of this price and they have a 5 star review and tell me that with in no more than 4 visits my dog will do ALL these simple commands or my money back! read more

​ unhappy with last visit. Our two small dogs were separated from other dogs in a larger vip kennel with TV. They were supposedly going to be washed prior to pick up however that did not happen. Our dogs were extremely filthy with urine and feces all over their coats underneath like they were sleeping in their own feces. Our dogs are potty trained and will always pee outside however if left in lockdown that won't happen so they were not let out enough. The dogs were under their care for 7 days and we are very upset at the way our dogs were treated. We will never ever approach this company or use their facilities again. No words absolute ZERO STARS can describe how devastated that we trusted this place with our baby out literal child he was only 2 years old....we made sure to check this place out multiple times before we decided to let them take care of our boy...they made it seem like they understood everything as to how to take care of him he's was an American bully...meaning leaving him out in the heat would KILL HIM and give him HEAT STROKE we told them this MULTIPLE times and still neglected and killed our dog within an hour of dropping him off....now me and his dad have to mourn a baby that shouldn't have been mourned so young and for the absolute neglect of this company...our boy was gone In less than an hour from drop off now when we get back from what was supposed to be an enjoyable trip we have to pick up our two year old ashes.....this company deserves to burn to the ground. I cannot get parked fast enough for Luna, whose whines, wiggles, and tail wags per second (TWPS [lol]) increase with each movement towards Doggie District's door. She absolutely cannot contain her excitement after entering, to the point she would literally wiggle out of my arms if I loosened my grip on her. This is the exact behavior that lets me know Luna is well cared for while I'm working, and that keeps us coming back. The team is always pleasant, and they have gotten to know Luna by name in such a short time, since early October 2024, she has been attending day care. The play area is huge, and I know Luna enjoys running until her heart is content. Keep up the great work, team. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. We came all the way from LA to check out some houses and touring around. After reviewing couple reviews from google, we decided to board our girls at Doggie District because from google, they had pretty good reviews. But we didn't know they had such a bad reviews on Yelp (we should have checked more). After we left, I didn't feel comfortable about leaving them because they had NO windows that other people can see, and didn't allow us to check their rooms or explain about their play time schedules. Literally nothing about details. Also It was very hidden from people. I've been to many day care places and most of them had huge windows so people can see their dogs or they had cameras that we can check up on them for 24 hours and they explain about their schedules. This place felt like they do not want people to see inside. It was very sketchy. After reviewing some bad reviews from Yelp, we noticed that lots of people complained about how their babies came back with urines all over their body or even got hurt literally came back bleeding. So I made sure to text them again and let them know that I need my girls to be in a separate room from other dogs because they are on their periods. Also I do not want them locked inside of the cage, since they are going to be in a separate room for themselves. They said okay but like I said before, it's very hidden and they don't share any pictures so we weren't able to confirm it. We also paid 5 star additional choice (extra $28 per dog per night) which includes daily pictureS and two-three play times. They sent us ONE picture end of the day (after we asked for it) and did not share any more detail information about their play time or any other informations. When I pay extra to check up on my girls, I do expect more detail information about them and I do expect more pictures. Trust me I know when my girls are having play time because they LOVE to play and they ALWAYS have that big smile on their face. But when I got their picture I knew that right away they didn't had 'PLAY TIME'. Maybe they just let them outside little bit and that's about it. They are very unprofessional and lack of sharing informations. I can't even check up on my girls, I don't even know if they are really in a separate room or locked up inside of the cage, don't know what they are doing or how they are doing. And when we left we tried to give them their water bottle, they said they don't need one because they get their own water bowls. But when we picked them up they were DEHYDRATED. Not just one BOTH of our girls drank at least 4-5 cups of water non stop. And I just can tell that they are both very stressed. I will never bring them here ever again. Please think twice if you are thinking about daycare your dogs here.. there are plenty of good professionals places then here. read more

Doggie District Silverado continues to amaze me in so many ways! my golden retriever has been going there since he was a puppy for day care 3 times a week. He also stayed there for training and was boarded while I was out of town . he loves it there. his joy can't lie, every morning when we drop him there. now the staff is doing not only birthday parties but weekly or bi weekly fun parties where all dogs get to participate and have fun! The care and attention is top notch for sure...additionally they board many adaptable dogs, giving them a chance to be around other dogs to enjoy life , not locked in a cage 24hr a day waiting for their forever family! Before I took my puppy for the first time, I called and spoke to their manager about some concerning reviews I had seen online. He talked me through everything, including explaining the situations for some reviews (some dogs are very timid, and just aren't a good fit for daycare). The first time at daycare is free, to make sure they're a good fit. Our puppy is very social, so he LOVES it there! He always comes home so happy and tired (and sometimes a little sticky - which is normal for puppies playing together). We absolutely ADORE the grooming there! The staff was negligent and completely disconnected to what was happening in the back with my dog. My fur baby has noticeable blood/scars on her paws and nose mouth that were not there upon check in. These wounds were not mentioned to us when we called in the day before for checkup. - When we called prior they advised they don't know what's going on in the back as the front people stay in the front and the call dropped. (This seems like an internal issue that should never be said to customer) They texted us shortly after stating that my dog was shy and she had no issues and she was doing fine. We landed the following day and picked her up and saw the wounds and now blood stained bed we gave her for her stay. - In the car we called back and The front desk lady advised that it's two different teams working in the front and back and it was a miscommunication that she was not advised of the wounds. She also advised the dogs are checked daily and she was given information that my dog was okay. Once we got home to further examine her we noticed the bed soiled with old urine and she had been sleeping in it for days as the urine was dried crusted on her face and hind parts [Best part] PRIOR to us receiving our dog at check out, doggie district brought us out SOMEONE ELSES GREAT DANE TO TAKE HOME. I wish I made this up. After they walked the poor dog to us and we clarified that's not our dog. They don't even look similar. This dog was dark haired and mines is a harlequin. read more

Boarding is not something that I usually do since my furry baby has separation anxiety. I was seeking a business for boarding that was close to my home just in case anything went wrong. After much thought I selected this one after a neighbor recommended it. I need the boarding service for the day because I am in the process of moving our old residence to the new location. Going to be in and out. It's too hot for puppy to be outdoors and help us! I called prior to coming in and the individual on the other end made me an appointment for drop off. She explained the pricing and the shots that the dog needs prior to her being allowed around other dogs. When I arrived I was greeted by the front counter staff whom was upbeat and friendly. They were very nice to my puppy. I filled out the paperwork and it was really fast and painless. I opted for just the basic boarding, while they do have phenomenal packages they offer here I did not need this. Just basic boarding for a few hours while we moved. When I picked up my dog she was all smiles and tail wags. She was in great condition and free from any scratches. I believe she was well taken care of . The staff here seems compassionate and animal friendly. Later that night when we were all settled at home the puppy did not display any signs of neglect from boarding. I include this tidbit since so many reviews see issues later in the evening when their dogs have gone back to their regular routine. When I need their services again I would not hesitate to drop her off here again. read more

I was EXTREMELY disappointed to discover that my pups were kenneled all day long. When I had my GRANDaughter fetch them for me, she discovered one of our pups were laying in their own pee. I went there two weeks ago and did a phone interview, as well as a curbside interview. I was assured by the manager my pups would be in the same room together. That it was like doggy Disneyland!! If I had been told their "rooms" were kennels, then I would have moved on to the next place to interview them. My GRANDaughter had to go in, even though it's supposed to be curbside, because our pit refused to leave her kennel. As mentioned earlier, she was curled up in the back of her kennel, sitting in her own pee. I am SO glad to have discovered this!! Shame on you, Doggie District for misleading me. read more

PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR PET, DO NOT BOARD THEM HERE!!!!!! I've used this place many times over the last 3 years and have noticed the service has steadily declined. They're inconsistent with the photos, sometimes only sending one over a three day weekend. (They upsell you when you book your boarding to a higher "star" package to include daily photos, activity time, etc.). But really, this is the least of your worries. After my pups' last two-night stay at Doggie District I knew something was wrong immediately. My dog was covered in urine and feces. Paws, legs, chest, stomach, groin area, even his neck. Everywhere. The entire drive home, he was frantically licking his paws trying to clean himself off. I bathed him when I got home but still couldn't get the feces off his neck (see photo taken after bath). The next day, he started developing a rash on hist stomach/chest area and bleeding, swollen, glands in his mouth (see photos). I reported this to Doggie District and brought my dog to the vet. The vet said the rash was caused by laying in urine and the infection in his mouth was probably from cleaning the feces (and who knows what else) off of himself. Patti acknowledged the likely cause and then offered a free cleaning as if I'd ever consider returning to this business. I sent the bill from my vet to Doggie District and requested a reimbursement which is to be sent out within 10 days as per their warranty contract. Today is day 16, I have not received my reimbursement check. Please, please, please, consider taking your dog elsewhere. read more

After several boarding experiences here, we decided to stop taking our doggies here. Whenever we'd pick them up, they were always so filthy and sometimes even wet. I'd also book a nail trim appt before picking them up and that would never get done. There would always be an excuse that the groomer got too busy. We have 2 doggies and they would never mention to us about the multi-pet boarding discount unless I mentioned it to them first so I've had to go through some trouble about getting overcharged. But we've had enough with this place when we had a really terrible experience on New Year's Day. We were out of town for a week and I informed the staff that we were going to pick them up on New Year's Day. When I booked this reservation over the phone, the staff did not mention that they would be closing early that day nor did they inform us in person when we had dropped them off. On New Year's Day, I couldn't get ahold of them through the phone that we were on our way to pick up our doggies so I texted them. Surprisingly, a staff member texted back stating that they were closed and I'd have to come back tomorrow. Excuse me?! So you decided to close and go home without even giving me a courtesy call that my dogs would be left there overnight..? My doggies wouldn't have had enough food that I packed for their sensitive stomachs AND I'd get charge an extra night fee? This business is so unprofessional. read more

They are fantastic, always greats us with a positive attitude and they absolutely adore my furrbaby. The red flag should have been that they refused to give us a tour of the facility on the two occasions we left him there.
