Everyone with a cat knows that when you leave town and they stay behind they become the king/queen of the castle. Without a homecoming bribe to be allowed back in is not a good thing. This kitty was getting some catnip for sure and a few little toys that make noise. Shopping in Amsterdam as a tourist can be tricky. We checked to make sure catnip was allowed to come through security and customs. Didnt wabt the govenment to think it was something else. Payment is also tricky as some places are Euro only payment. We did our shopping and continued on our mery way knowing that the kitty was taken care of from Amsterdam.

Their supplies on hand for cats is extensive as well. It's amazing the amount of pet accessories there are to keep your pet healthy, happy and safe. I get my dog treats from these guys but have purchased quite a few accessories as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a very laid back place. I'm ambivalent about the location as the store closest to me, now recently closed, was literally just down the street a few hundred meters or so. This location is about a kilometer or more away. It's a nice walk with the dog. It's funny but this is another one of those places that you go to for supplies that you don't really think about til it's gone and then you have to find another place to get your supplies. Regardless, I'm thankful there is this location and I can still get my dog her treats.

So I found this vet. The appointment was easy to make over the phone. To be honest I enjoyed this office more - front desk girls are friendly and attentive. They really cuddled Chief when he was going under the anesthesia, I felt confident to leave him with them. When I picked him up, he had Hollywood smile, both white and because of drugs :) 250 euro for the cleaning. I enjoyed the care here and lot so I transferred our records to this vet.

The lovely gentleman and I had a chat where I explained that I was racing to get there before they closed. He then proceeded to point out the phone number of the store on the receipt AND added his mobile. This wasn't an attempt to hit on my sexy, sweaty self, but rather to let me know that if I'm ever running a bit late and need him to stay opened a bit longer so that I can get my little Prince Forrest and Princess Mom-cat their high quality food from 4 Pets, I need only call.
