The absolute best groomers, I've been going here for the past 4 years and they've worked with my dog and was able to adjust him to nail trimming and grooming. I had adopted my dog from the humane society and he hated nail trimming and could not sit still, so much so that Petco called me midway during his appointment to pick him up, halve shaved and everything. After my vet recommended this groomer, I have been taking him here since. Please remember that this is a small groomers and be patient because not every pet is always well-behaved, so it does take time. PLEASE please, please DO NOT take your dog here!!!!!! I brought my dog to be groomed and they cut a huge chunk out of her ear. They then called me claiming that they hadn't touched her, yet somehow a cut magically appeared on her ear. They said it "looked like someone had tried to trim the hair around her ears". We didn't trim her hair (obviously) because we were taking her to the groomer, and she was completely fine before I brought her in. She's an indoor, old dog who does nothing except sit around the house all day. Also, despite their claims that they hadn't touched her, her nails are obviously trimmed. They are very clearly lying to avoid paying vet bills and negative press. What horrible people. We scheduled an appointment here because it was the earliest we could get our dog in, and now we understand why. Please save your dog from injury and save yourself from dealing with these dishonest, awful people and go elsewhere. read more

Today was my first appointment I'm so happy with how my boys, Buster and Brownie, look. They look so handsome that I'll leave a picture. The price is unbelievable. I used to take them to Petco across the street but no more. Besides the better prices, my boys seemed calmer when I picked them up. There was no need for them to have to stay in a kennel for a long time waitinh for their turn. We dropped them off and a couple hours later they were ready. Customer service was great! Simple and short... My doodle was beautiful after her cut, don't get me wrong, but the first encounter with the personnel kind of turned me off. I signed in my doodle, but while trying to explain her cut, the personnel made me feel uncomfortable, because I didn't have the exact terminology as to what my doodle needed. I eventually got my point across by using pictures. It would be great having "warmer" individuals welcoming first time customers. Secondly, I walked my doodle there (to help burn her energy) and it was a warm morning, so I requested that she get some water once they take her to the back, but I felt like they brushed off my request too. I started using them over six years ago when I was having trouble finding a groomer who had the patience and skill to work with my geriatric Shetland Sheepdog who had trouble standing for long grooming sessions. They always did a nice job with him in his "golden years," and I will always appreciate that. Now, I take my Golden Retriever to them. They are always very fast and the prices are extremely affordable. My only complaint, a minor one, is that the quality of the grooming isn't quite the same as if they'd really taken their time, but my dog always looks and smells good, so no real complaints. Their location and hours are also convenient for me, so it's a winner. Doggone Groomers' services include bathing, drying, brushing, combing, ear cleaning, nail clipping, anal gland expression, and skin care. They are open Tuesday through Saturday; call for hours and availability. They also offer a first time discount for military and seniors as well as a discount for repeat customers who purchase grooming services within six weeks of the last groom. And since there are a number of happy clients who gave a positive feedback for this place, i decided to give this a try for Casey last June. After picking them up and checking them out, I noticed that the ear on one of my dogs had a cut in the little flap of her ear, her rear was clearly red razor burned and also on her stomach area. They all had razor burns and FLEAS! I had to treat my house and yard and the dogs! POOR DOGS to have experienced the razor burns and cut on the ear!!! NEVE4R AGAIN! ***Just to let you know that I took my dog to the Vet and the Vet confirmed that they red marks were razor burns and also checked out the little flap in the ear and confirmed that it was cut by the razor. I found Doggone Groomers a couple of years ago from a friends recommendation and I have never been more happy. I have a mini-dachshund, Lucy, and a very elderly (17 years young) poi dog, Pomai. They treat them with such care and love. My older dog is loosing her hair and has a number of bumps and such from growing old and they work with everything and she comes home looking and smelling her best. Doggone Groomers was recommended to my mom and I by my best friend who takes her two small sized dogs here. Whenever I was over my friend's house her dog would look SO ADORABLE with the finishing bow in her hair! Little did I know that eventually I'll have a puppy of my own... a Maltese to be exact, that would need some grooming! This was my puppy's first trip to the groomers as I was worried how she would react due to not being exposed to seeing other dogs and just the overall experience. However, Doggone Groomers were very professional and helpful to my mother and answered all the questions we had as this is something new for us as well. Their timing was perfect and I loved the new clean trim we had on our Maltese. Doggone Groomers will do traditional looks I believe to how the dog should be groomed but it is also up to the owner of what they want. My mom and I preferred to keep our Maltese long-haired because we loved her being fluffy! However, this next visit (which is actually next week) we're planning to get her fully shaved down. This is the first time I used these groomers for my standard poodle who was in great need of a hair cut. Several appointments were cancelled at another company do to no fault of their own. However my dog who goes to the beach every day gets burrs in her hair and had matted ears due to all the cancellations. I have to commend Doggone Groomers for scheduling us in for early the next day with three smaller dogs because they would not take as long to groom. My timid dog who does not like to be left at the groomers takes about four hours. It only took three and a half. They said she was fine. Her summer cut was perfect in style and we were happy that she had no razor burns or nicks. I was especially delighted when the bill cost much less than her original pet grooming company. They also offer a 10% discount for a return appointment in six weeks. I would highly recommend this company. read more

They did a good job grooming my dog. I was nervous, because the last time we got her groomed at PetCo, she came home with a gouge in her stomach and a chunk of missing skin. Although she didn't have any nicks or gouges from Doggone, she did have a squinty/gooey eye for several days once I picked her up. I'm thinking they may have accidentally scratched her eye when grooming her face. For now, we are keeping an eye on it and hoping she doesn't get an infection. read more
