The appointment on 9/10 comes and goes and no one shows up. After an hour of waiting-- I've made plans to work from home and be available for when this is scheduled-- I call their office to see what the delay is. I'm told that due to staffing changes, this appointment has fallen through the cracks, but they'll arrange to send someone out. No one comes and I receive no call. When I call again at the close of business, I'm told that no one with the authority to reschedule is available and they will call me the next day with a new appointment time.  This dance continues over the course of the following week, over which period I call no less than five times. Several times I am promised a return call from Chris Arader himself, which never happens. I even call at a time I am assured he will be in the office, and when I do, he is not.  What the heck? This sort of behavior, while not uncommon, is tedious and unprofessional. It's particularly frustrating in this situation given the limited season (optimally) for tree pruning. I contacted Arader based on a recommendation as I was very disappointed.

It was a total pleasure and my property was left cleaner than they found it and nothing was broken. They would definitely be my first choice in the future.

They removed all branches and cleaned up the yard. My husband actually went outside on the deck to sweep and they stopped us. They came up and removed all sawdust from the trees. The other service they provided was aeration and seeding, all looked great, nice top soil was provided as well. Stonework has large gaps that must be filled and covering to hydraulic pump was never placed as agreed upon. The cover is a warped piece of plywood .Landscaping was never put in and downspouts were never done. The owner has ignored all of our calls and texts. We have asked for a refund but he ignores our pleas. THE OWNER, MATT DOES SUBPAR WORK, DOESN'T FINISH THE JOB, AND WILL NOT OFFER A REFUND.

I asked for my money back for the stump grinding that was done correctly, but again was ignored. If you are looking for open communication, good work ethic, and being provided services you paid for, this is NOT the company for you.

I am submitting this complaint regarding what I believe were deceptive, coercive, and retaliatory…read morebusiness practices by a tree removal company. I contracted with the company to perform tree removal services at my residence and paid $5,000 for the project. The crew arrived at approximately 8:30 a.m. and departed around 3:30 p.m. After inspecting the property, I discovered that a portion of the agreed-upon work remained unfinished. Based on the scope of the remaining work, it appeared that less than one additional hour of labor by a single worker would have completed the job. The following day, I contacted the company and requested that they return to finish the work for which I had already paid. Rather than honoring what I believed to be their contractual obligation, I was informed that the company would not return unless I paid additional money. In effect, I was asked to pay more in order to receive services that should have been completed under the original agreement. What should have been a routine customer-service matter quickly escalated into a campaign of intimidation. When I disputed the demand for additional payment and continued to request completion of the work, the company's manager threatened legal action against me. Instead of attempting to resolve the dispute professionally, company representatives resorted to personal attacks and accusations unrelated to the services provided. Most troubling, I received written threats that the company would contact my employer and my husband's employer in an effort to "expose" me as a racist. These threats were made despite the fact that I had not published any review, made any public statements, or otherwise damaged the company's reputation. At the time the threats were issued, I had merely stated that I was considering leaving a review regarding my experience. The company's conduct appeared designed to silence a dissatisfied customer through fear, intimidation, and threats of professional harm. Threatening to interfere with a customer's employment because that customer requested completion of contracted work is wholly inappropriate and, in my view, constitutes retaliatory conduct intended to suppress legitimate consumer complaints. Rather than addressing concerns regarding incomplete work, the company responded with threats of litigation, threats to contact employers, accusations of racism, and warnings that their legal team would pursue claims against me. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed by the Federal Trade Commission to determine whether the company's conduct constitutes unfair or deceptive business practices, consumer intimidation, or retaliation against a customer attempting to resolve a dispute regarding incomplete services. I have retained documentation of the relevant communications, including the written threats referenced above, and am prepared to provide them upon request.

From start to finish, every step was seamlessly communicated and meticulously executed. Rick (#1), the owner, brought with many suggestions, ideas and creativity while also listening to all of our ideas and taking our questions from the start until the end. The team on the ground - Rick (#2) and Luke who worked tirelessly every day, showcased immense skill, attention to detail and delivered everything exactly as planned out - literally as drawn up in the beginning of the project discussion. Our project included removal of significant amount of dirt, debris, tree stumps deep in the ground + roots, installing underground drainage piping, underground electrical for exterior lights and hot tub, three irregular flagstone areas (front walkway, rear walkway and a large patio), assembly of custom manufactured red cedar pergola, base set up for round cedar / pine hot tub, hammock area, sod in the rear and front, 8 trees total and countless beautiful plants. The process of seeing the irregular flagstone patio being worked on was a reality check of how hard this team worked and how meticulous (on each piece of flagstone). My wife and I have undertaken various projects on our Phoenixville home, both inside and out. We've never encountered such a seamless experience and remarkable final result via a contractor as we did with Rick and his team. This experience truly deserves more than five stars.
