There are however a few different options when it comes to the cones, there's the standard plain one, a chocolate one and one with sprinkles. This is a cute little café, so there are seats so that you can sit down and enjoy your ice-cream. Alternatively you can walk around with it and watch people ski / snowboard through the viewing area. The actual shop is a fairly small unit with about 5 seats inside and a few outside when the weathers nice. To be honest I'm surprised they've got 5 seats in there but they have, and it's comfortable. What did I see but a Frurt advert, noting their opening weekend at the end of July? Oh, now I was even happier. While I didn't make it to their grand sample give-out due to weekend commitments, the hideously cloying weather had me making a beeline for their enticing, clean and fun-looking shop. I couldn't resist. Instantly I was intrigued by the Fruit Parfait, which at £3.50 is one of the best value things on the menu (and they're all great value, believe me). You get your generously scooped and whipped fro-yo, with a choice of four flavours - au naturel, chocolate, strawberry or green tea. As soon as the last one was mentioned I was decided. Then it's topped with granola, a delightful drizzle of honey and your choice of two fruits - for me it had to be strawberry and mango. Off I wandered... and I stopped. I'm so silly for thinking I could eat this on the go. It demands your attention. You have to savour and enjoy it, and I found myself a peaceful spot of street and gave my treat the focus it deserved. And I didn't want it to end. It was almost breakfasty with the granola, fruit and honey, and there are plentiful topping choices if you want to feel a little naughtier. Perhaps too many... nah, no such thing. The amaretto ice cream was a firm favourite amongst our group, and everyone seemed to clarify that the Ferrero Rocher flavour was amongst the best tasted. My combo of amaretto and creamy white chocolate was just the ticket for my bus ride home (driver seeming to ignore the large 'NO EATING! NO DRINKING! NO SMOKING! No talking' sign on the window, thank goodness). A giant cup. An absolutely epic giant cup stacked with ice cream, big enough to hold what would be considered a large coffee, for a mere two squid. How do they make money exactly? I'll tell you how, by very positive word of mouth via sites such as this here little gem! Anyonita G, Manchester Elite, is something of a Moonlight expert and she highly recommends the New York cheesecake or the chocolate fudge. These are definitely on my list for the next visit!
