There ain't to many meat markets in town but it's location helps them out. If you need some good cuts of meat, pork, chicken, or your BBQ needs they pretty much have it all. On the areas that could be improved are the following: self checking is nice for a few items but there are times one requires a checker. I have been in the store where there was only one checker and the line was long. Not all, but most employees need training in greeting customers, smiling, and just being more customer friendly. Personally I had been shopping more at our local HEB in Alice, TX. Reason: Mainly friendly, happy staff. I have recently returned to WalMart due to HEB's "relayout of merchandise, I don't know how many times". WalMart needs to seize the moment!

If you ain't in the mood for meats you can go in and have some homemade Pork skins and cracklings or on Friday and Saturday you can go in and have some tamales from that one famous place in the valley area Delia's Tamales. I must tell you that they are kept in the cold box but don't panic just go home and warm them up in the microwave wrapped in a cloth and presto they are good as freshly made. They even sell adult beverages as it is a small grocery store inside. What makes this meat market special is that they have the lowest prices in town, especially when we are in an area that fajitas reign king of the grill. Ain't nothing better than getting a slab of regular or Angus fajitas for a price much lower than there other counterpart. All in all I do not see any reason for this place not to prosper.
