The store was well stocked even though they had a ton of business and not enough help. Thanks to the DG team at this location for great service!

This discount store has a large refrigerated section on the left side of the store. I wouldn't…read moredoubt it's almost a 100 feet long. It has a lot more that the Winona Walmart I can tell you that much. So, you can get milk, sandwich meat, ice cream, beer, orange juice, eggs, sweet tea, lemonade, cokes all sorts of other cold grocery products. They actually have more refrigeration section than the other two Dollar General stores in this town put together. They also have a Redbox outside the store. So, you can rent movies for a dollar or two while you are here. Anyway, I always get checked out quickly and they are always friendly. They are also busy at this location because it is the largest Dollar General Store in the area. The store seems cleaner and better organized than the other two. Maybe it's better managed. I don't know. In summary, I will be back as this store because they are well stocked at all times even during Christmas. You can get some real good deals and save money at this discount store and I highly recommend them.

I was out Thanksgiving night looking for the recipe items I needed for a strawberry cheesecake…read morepie. I went to Walmart and Kroger with no luck finding some Eagle brand bordens condensed milk in the red can. I called up this store to see if they had some and they had only one can. So, I asked them over the phone if they could save it for me at the register. They actually did pull it off the shelf and save it for me. I was there within 10 minutes to buy this one last ingredient for my recipe. That's great customer service. Thanks Dollar General Store for the extra service you gave me. They also lock their bathroom doors for some reason. Just ask them to open the door and they will. This has happened several times of coming here. They are usually nice about it when other businesses in the area have no public bathrooms and they won't unlock them even for paying customers. However, this store will. I have also been here several times and asked for service in finding certain items and they helped me. Thus, I am updating to 5 stars.

Great discount store with great service and check out. This store is pretty new too as they didn't…read morebuild this too long ago. They take credit cards and it's convenient right of Hwy 61. It's in a safe area too. They have buggies too if you are here to do a lot of shopping. The buggies or carts are located just as you come in and maybe outside before you walk in the door. I recommend getting your dog and cat food here because it will save you money in the long run.
