This is a really cute store, but is big enough to have lots of departments. It reminds me of the Woolworth's stores that I remember as a kid. It's big, no doubt, and has lots of items, but it does not have that impersonal, corporate feel of a super Wal-Mart. There are real people at the counter, who have real things to say (not off a script) and who are actually nice. They have toys, housewares, arts and crafts (which comprises a fairly large section of the store), small appliances, and even a 'dollar store' section in the back. And, prices are pretty low, which is surprising. Beiter's may be a chain in the PA area (I think there is more than one store) but it has not lost that real American feel of a good ole general store. Stop by next time you need something and don't want to wait on line, you'll be glad you did.

But no color!!!! and $80 for 4 roses!!!! - Total rip off. If it were my business, I would at least make a quick call or text me saying they are adding a yellow and white polka dot bow. I made the order and I should have been contacted that day as I placed the order and should have been notified there was an issue. I called the morning of the May 11th to cancel my order as this was a birthday arrangement and it was no longer this persons birthday. Nobody needs a plant...this was just a birthday gesture and was ruined so I feel I should have been able to cancel my order but they refuse stating they put too much time into trying to find the address. Well the address is real-it is not my fault they could not find this. I will never order from this place again. It is 2 hours from closing and my arrangement still has not been delivered when it should have been delivered yesterday as promised. Will also be contacting BBB to report this as well because my acct has not been refunded. Nothing like paying for a product you haven't received.
