The top of the $400 dresser I bought was covered with a runner and on top of the runner was a…read moreselection of several large lamps for sale and several Knick Knack/tchotchke items for sale. Although I looked over the dresser, opened the drawers, etc., I did not move all the lamps and many assorted knick knacks. I then paid for the dresser and made arrangements to pick it up the following day. When I returned to pick it up, there was a VERY LARGE split in the wood, ALL the way across the entire top of the dresser and way too wide to repair by any method. This major damage had been covered by the runner, the lamps and the knick knacks. So . . . Usually, normally, sellers will be transparent about damage, flaws, chips, cracks etc., and then it's up to the buyer to move forward with the purchase or not. Because the damage was so extensive, I did not think the dresser could be transported without breaking completely in two. Because the damage was hidden/concealed, I felt deceived. I pointed this out to the staff, who launched into their "no refunds" spiel before I could even finish my sentence. I was rather abruptly offered to the "opportunity" to leave the dresser (and my $400) behind if I no longer wanted it. Still, I extend Kudos to Twice Is Nice for serving seniors in need!! Thank you to the volunteers who offer their time. Thank you to the folks who donate. If an item is damaged, you don't have to attach flashing lights or a neon sign, but it's not "nice" to cover it up, then pile it high with multiple heavy items making the damage almost impossible to detect until too late to make an informed purchase decision.

I called customer service for help finding matching children's shirts and an 18 month size onesie. The service rep patiently provided helpful assistance, and I was able to complete the order. The shirts arrived on time and look great. We are pleased with the quality of the shirt and the perfectly executed printing of the logo. When the shirts arrived, the shirts for my daughters were too large. I called customer service and was able to reorder. The rep researched sizes and presented options. Best of all, I was not charged the $10. fee for expedited service. Shirts were approximately $21. Custom Ink is an online retailer and branded merchandise provider that allows users to create and order custom apparel, like t-shirts and hoodies, as well as promotional hard goods. They are known for their easy-to-use online design tools, group ordering platform, and fundraising features.

They had no problems with switching our moving date because our closing date on our home changed. The loading went OK since we had already packed everything except for the furniture and art. All the boxes we packed were labeled by room and contents. The damage was discovered after the move. If the Forman chosen for the job is not good your move will be expensive, difficult and there will be damage. The guys they sent worked hard but not smart because the Forman was inexperienced. He did not focus on priorities that would make the move smoother, He was in CYA mode the entire time. He pointed out minor flaws in a few pieces of furniture that we already knew about and acknowledged. The irony of all this CYA is that these movers or rather their forman deliberately hid damage that they caused. * They damaged the wall in the stairwell of the destination we moved into by gouging the drywall and chipping the paint. And said nothing. * They chipped the glass of an expensive dining room table top. And said nothing. * They spilled Gatorade on the carpet in one of the bedrooms, covered it up with boxes. And said Nothing. * At the destination they dropped boxes that were clearly marked by room just about anywhere and everywhere. We found boxes marked "Kitchen pots and Pans" in the garage. * They left Art sitting in the hot sun * We had specifically asked that the beds be unloaded and set up in the bedrooms as one of the first things upon arriving at the destination, to determine what other furniture would fit. This was repeatedly ignored. Instead they dragged their feet but kept asking where certain pieces of furniture were to go. The move ended up being much more expensive by 30%. Take this is a caution. Maybe if you're a student and you have inexpensive stuff - things like this will not bother you. But if you have things you care about. Maybe you can hire a company that can do better. Working with them was frustrating and in the end very expensive.

At one point, I was considering storing my belongings at their warehouse for less than a week. Rather than simply taking the additional business, they told me it did not make sense to move everything from the original location into warehouse storage for such a short period because it would unnecessarily increase my costs. That advice was one of the reasons I ultimately decided to use PODS instead. My moving needs did change at the last minute, which made the overall move more expensive than I had originally planned, but that was because of the changing logistics, not because they were trying to increase the price. I really appreciated that they were focused on helping me find the most practical and cost-effective solution. I would absolutely recommend them.

I booked my move a week in advance and paid a $100 deposit after being told it would guarantee my moving date and secure my spot. Then, only 3 days before my scheduled move, the manager -- I believe his name was David -- called to tell me they were fully booked for the entire week and that my move would either need to be rescheduled or canceled altogether. I made it very clear from the beginning that my apartment lease ends on the 31st and that I needed to move before then. Had this company been honest about the fact that paying a deposit did not actually guarantee service, I would have hired another moving company much earlier. Now I'm left scrambling at the last minute, despite having everything planned out. I also have to report to work in another state on the 1st, so this has created a major inconvenience and unnecessary stress. To make matters worse, speaking with them on the phone was a complete disaster. The communication was unprofessional, disorganized, and unacceptable. They agreed to refund the $100 deposit, but that does not make up for the inconvenience, stress, and potential consequences this situation may cause me. If I receive penalties from my landlord for a late move-out or face any employment-related consequences because of this company's failure to honor their commitment, I will absolutely be exploring all possible legal and consumer protection options.
