Each and every one of the people are very friendly and will help find anything you need. The store is clean and prices are displayed for you to see easily. Only thing is, make sure you remember sale prices because the cashiers don't know and they don't always ring up as advertised as displayed. That's the only reason it wasn't given all 5 stars. Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I bought new tires from them, 3 weeks later…read moreI was in to have them checked because one kept going low, I arrived at 1pm and was told I was 3rd in line to have the tires checked, at 3:30 pm they still had not got the car in to be looked at. 3 techs on duty, 2 doing literally nothing but visiting with the service writer! Then the took the service writers car in to do an alternator, making that the 4th car since they told me I was 3rd in line. 2 tire bays and both empty! And no idea when they will be checking on the tire issue, I guess since it's not a paying job they are hoping I just go away. Dude standing in tire bay look totally confused not working. Definitely going to speak with corporate.

They must have changed staff, management, or something because it was one of the best Walmarts I've ever been to. Staff was super friendly, shelves were well stocked, and it was quite clean for a Walmart. Coming from a town where every Walmart gives you the option to A) wait in line for 20 minutes for clerk checkout or B) awkwardly scan 30 items at a tiny self checkout kiosk, I was very impressed that multiple lanes had no-wait clerk checkouts. I bought a tank of propane at checkout and briskly walked to the propane station. To my shock, a WM clerk made it there before I did. This is in stark contrast to other Walmarts and places like Home Depot where you get to wait by the circular saw for half an hour before someone arrives to help. As Walmarts go... 10/10

But what made me fall in love is the cavatellis in frozen section . I have had a hard time finding them in Nashville . They also have a fantastic fish section . Only complaint is I won't buy farm raised fish . They do have wild caught though too . And the many many flavors of mentos gum is chefs kiss . I also enjoy the soups in the deli , bakery and fresh flowers and potted flowers . Bakery is Probaly the best you're gonna find in Nashville . The cakes and pasteries are very pretty . I ended up buying a printer and a coffee maker on deep discount. The staff was smart and blocked off an area in order to funnel people toward the registers. We were in and out in no time.
