I stop by 7/8/26 and met Chelsea Coffman she made my transaction so easy and not complicated. Gave me my reward with out a problem. She very pleasant and I was able to stay calm through it all. My experience with the older blue hair woman was very stressful and the new younger girl were rude. Seem to be a big turn over of employees. I hope DSW will continue to keep Chelsea, she's very professional and does her best to satisfy DSW customers. I always get compliments on my shoes and will continue to be a referral to DSW.

The store is crammed and stacked with all kinds of items..some stuff that has surpassed its shelf life. No order, and the staff is okay but you get the idea they are just hired help without much training. I would go there again I suppose because they do have some real bargains if you don't mind digging. The store has no curb appeal, no entry appeal either...and I am not a person that will dig through anything to save a buck. But hey..if you are, you'll love the store. I'm actually kind of surprised there is nothing in the mall, given that Nacogdoches is a "college town", and albeit students are generally considered "cash poor", a large percentage of the money they do have is considered disposable income. Anyhow, Lufkin Mall in Lufkin (30 minutes south) is MUCH better. It actually has national brand stores (Aeropostale, Hot Topic, American Eagle).

I over heard the checker talking about how she knew lots of people who got sick from the vaccine - ok. Whatever. I'll just shop and ignore the idiocy. The shopping, however, was as bad as the hygiene and Covid precautions. The only ONLY bright spot is that they did have decent books but I didn't spend a lot of time there looking because I felt unsafe. They also have racist signage that was appallingly bad. One was a cartoon Ollie dressed as an Asian caricature. The other was advertising rugs and said "Oriental". Just blatantly bad. I'll not come here again.

One checker and you could tell she wasn't into her job or customer service at all. Just going thru the motions. It wasn't just me complaining. The whole line was. At one point there were 9 people waiting forever and 3 people waiting on presales and 1 person waiting on an online order. It took my whole lunch hour to get a few little items. One lady said she would not return and the other said if she wanted to shop at Belk she would go to Lufkin. I'm not too sure I will be back! With it being the only Nac place to shop they really need to step it up!
