Saturday 5 dollars of a purchase over 25 dollars? Rarely true! Some Employees will look in your eyes and say you saved 5 dollars. Liars!!!

Wow. I usually go to the store in Jefferson, where they are pleasant. I stopped here because it was on the way to my destination. I don't care that the clerk was surly when I walked in, or that she stink of cigarette smoke to the point it permeated the front of the store. What really rubbed me wrong was her attitude. I grabbed a Monster energy drink from a display showing $1.75 from September 20-October 17. She rang it at $2. I politely stated it was on sale. She responded, "Well, it rang at $2." I offered to show her the display. She gives a deep sigh and rolls her eyes. Once she saw it was $1.75, she got foot stompy on her way back to the register. She made a production of keying it in at the advertised price. While I was swiping my card, keying in my PIN, etc, she kept tapping her fingers to indicate how much of a burden this was for her. When I was done, she glared and thrust the receipt at me. No "Sorry for the confusion." No "Thank you." Just surly, bitter attitude. On Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, I purchase some items from this Dollar General Store, location: 8605 Dollarway Road, White Hall Arkansas. The cashier was outstanding! She was so friendly. Four days later, Nov. 17, 2018 I tried to return an item, In perfect condition, totally unopened, with my receipt. The sales clerk who conveniently didnt have a name badge, bust claimed to be the manage was hateful from the start, not saying a word, just snatched the item up and proceeded with my refund. I noticed my item rang up for half of what I paid for it four days prior and I tried to bring it to her attention..she rolled her eyes, totally disregarding what I said. When she tried to complete the refund, I again told her that the amount wasnt accurate. She told me yes it was. The item must have went on sale and she totally refused to give me full price, even telling me to go to another store and try it. when I asked for the manager, she said she was it. I ended apologizing if I had in some way made her upset (which I hadn't...she was like that when I first entered the store) and I left the store with my unneeded item and my wrinkled up receipt that she had balled up and thrown at the trash can. When I asked her name, she just said "Shakura", again, she was not wearing any type of identification badge.
