This is a convenient location for me and has typical items expected from a dollar store, although most prices changed to $1.25 awhile back. This store has some items for $3 or $5 such as planters. I like to pick up balloons from here as it's very convenient. They have balloons for every occasion and they're blown up and ready to go. They also have a decent section of cards for all occasions and they're either $1 for one or 2 cards for $1. If you're having a party, they have everything from napkins, forks, table covers too though they are pretty simple looking but for the price, hard to complain. If you're looking to purchase gift cards, this store has a great variety to choose from! I even saw some cute flip flops today! I appreciate the self checkouts as there is no wait. read more

This store has it TOGETHER! This is the first dollar tree that is consistent in their cleanliness and organization, and has fantastic customer service They also have a self-checkout which is incredible which probably contributes to their productivity to keep the store well maintained! I stopped by to pick up some baskets and mugs for a care package I'm building someone and they have so much in stock. I love their seasonal items and their organizational items. This is the only Dollar Tree I actually enjoy going to! This location is clean, organized and the staff is friendly. I also really enjoy the fact that they have self checkout lanes here as well as cashiers. This location has the best selection among the DT's in the area, especially in terms on holiday and seasonal decor, this location is my go-to as you can't beat the $1.25 price tag! read more

This is the NEATEST AND MOST ORGANIZED dollar tree I've ever been to. And I've been to a lot. So many of them are messy and horrible, but this one is so nice. I will bypass the one across from me and drive 5 miles just to go here. read more

This is one of 2 of my favorite Dollar Tree stores. They keep this one well stocked, but IDK about right now due to CoViD19, as I've not been in there recently. They usually have what I want and they have this store orderly. Donna, one of the cashiers, has been there for a long time and she is super pleasant. This store looks to be well-maintained. If you shop at this store regularly and then go to some of the other stores that are not well-maintained, you will see the difference. Some Dollar Trees are very poorly maintained (S 202/Arizona Ave, Ray/McQueen, Alma School/Warner). I've seen on multiple occasions things strewn all over the place and I wonder why. I can't imagine how they are with the pandemic. Anyway, this particular Dollar Tree at Val Vista & Guadalupe in Gilbert, it has always been orderly and good, with nice people working there that are helpful. They seem to have a good selection of stuff. read more

Never been to a dollar tree that have a lot of art & craft stuffs! The store is so big and clean!

The employees here are very nice but ever since they updated the store it looks pretty trashy And the new multiple priced items do not have the value that the store had before. Spend an extra five minutes and head to the $.99 only store it's much nicer and a better value. read more

I love this Dollar Tree I live Around Mesa and Chandler and this one is my favorite location very clean, organized and always have what I'm looking for especially in the cosmetics aisle. 2570 S Val Vista in Gilbert use to be so much cleaner. But when I went there 2 days ago it was filthy. Boxes that needed to be put on shelves were in aisles. I have ever seen this store looking so bad. I will shop elsewhere in the future read more

This store is always so clean and the employees are friendly. (So so so much nicer than the location on Val vista and Williams field!) I came here multiple times this month for Xmas decor and the staff was always so nice.. the manager always makes small talk and one of the female employees knew my daughter by name. I'm sold. This place has too many of the same cheap items I can find at the grocery store or discount stores like Target (namely party stuff and gift wrap and tissue paper and arts & crafts). This is one of the BEST dollar tree stores I have ever been to. You can immediately tell that they take pride in their store and how it looks. I was looking at something, and one of the associates that was walking by me said 'hey, we just put out a bunch of new spring bins and baskets towards the front' and to me, that made a great impression because at most dollar tree stores the associates don't even greet you when entering the store or checking out. Unlike most dollar trees this one was not as busy and didn't give you that feeling that you were in a dollar store. And it was a Sunday afternoon. The place was clean and very organized. I was shopping for my jesse tree ornament. While shopping my kids pulled some cheap butterflies on toothpicks off something and I thought I could buy just the butterflies but the cashier said it belonged to a set. I wasn't to heartbroken, but when she saw my kids she said just take them, I just want to thank her its been a few weeks and my kids still hold these butterflies daily. read more

Manager Ashley has done it again! I called the store, spoke with Ashley. Described in detail what I was looking for, she supposedly checked, nope, nothing. I needed to stop at a nearby store later that morning and decided to stop in. WAL-LA...guess what I found. Not just 1 but several...I purchased 4. Great place to find some deals on party decorations and good deal on teaching supplies. They also have a great deal on baloons!
